Currently Executive in Residence at Harvard Medical School, John shares insights into what it means to be a leader in health IT in 1992 and through to today.

“Godfather” John helped lay the foundation of CHIME back before the internet when healthcare applications were the key concern. Along the way, fundamental decisions developed what CHIME would become, how it would help CIOs and other digital health leaders. The agenda and industry are always changing and evolving as priorities shift, but leadership hasn’t changed. Leadership is the human element that takes collective values and goals and works to serve, inspire, teach, and guide well.
