Putin is waging war in Ukraine forcing tens of thousands to flee their homes as life as they know it--and yet some that are fleeing, namely African immigrants and immigrants of color are being traumatized TWICE--from

the horrors of war and the horrors of global anti-Blackness and discrimination. We discuss the responsibility of white mainstream journalism and whether their newsrooms are up to the task at hand--humanizing ALL fleeing war not just those with blonde hair and blue eyes.
