(4) Believers in Christ will discover an UNCOMPROMISING TRUTH that the world DOESN’T WANT to hear, namely, that the NATURE of God to whom “each of us shall give an account of himself to God” [Rom. 14:12], the predicament of humankind as sinful [Rom. 3:23], Jesus as the only way to God [John 14:6], the only source for rest for your souls [Matt. 11:28-29], and that you must be born again in order to see the kingdom of God [John 3:3].

(5) Some interpret chastening/discipline/nurture to imply that God puts SICKNESS on His people in order to correct them. I think that interpretation is FALSE.

(6) God’s will is that you be thankful.

(7) I submit that NO EARTHLY FATHER would put cancer on his child; and the Heavenly Father, who is GREATER than any earthly father, doesn’t do that to His children EITHER.

(8) God’s will is for His followers be engaged in worship, fellowship, service to the Lord, and to join Him in ministry.

(9) Unfortunately, we are by nature DOERS like Martha, the sister of Lazarus, instead of LOVERS and WORSHIPERS, like the other sister, Mary. God is seeking those who will love Him enough to come and be with Him, worship Him, and fellowship with Him. He not only seeks WORKERS but also WORSHIPERS.
