Leviticus 14, speaks to use in detail the process of pronouncing a leper clean or cleansed. The chapter speaks of the cleansing the leper The law prescribed specifics that the priests were to follow to insure, it wasn't left up to priests individually. Of coarse leprosy is a symbol of sin and we apply it that way most of the time. Today we can look back and see correlation to Jesus and what occurred to him to provide our ultimate cleansing.
