two and a half tribes to "settle: on the east side of Jordan. Scripture tells us they looked around and saw where they were was suitable. Going over the Jordan was unknown and they weren't able to trust God for better than what they saw. How does this apply to you and me? Are you able to trust God for better, or for what He wants for you to do, to be, to have? Good questions from our study today.

A lesson we will learn today in Numbers 20, is that no one is exempt from obedience. Moses, Miriam nor Aaron could plead exemption from the judgments and laws that God had spoken. As we grow in the Lord, and as we gain authority and power we are still required to be obedient, God said speak to the rock and Moses hit the rock. That disobedience caused him to not see the promised land.
