Mistakes are going to happen. Every single one of us are going to make decisions that don’t honor God, that hurt our relationships, and that set us back. It’s tough, but what’s worse is to make a mistake and not learn anything from it. In this series, we’re going to study some of the mistakes made by heroes of our faith and our first stop in the journey takes us into the life of someone with an anger issue.
The Cross on which Jesus died is vitally important to our faith; it teaches us so much about ourselves and about our God. In part 2 of this series, we learn about the fallen nature of man, the justice of God, the perfect sacrifice of Jesus, and His incredible love for the people He created.

Over 300 times in the Bible we are told about the voice of God. He knows us and wants us to know His voice. God gets no pleasure from watching His children stumble through life; He actually delights in helping us put one foot in front of the other and one of the ways He does that is by leading us with His voice.

If we’re going to walk in the will of God we will have to be people of high character and we have to make ourselves available for His use.
One of the ways to walk in the will of God is to walk in the ways of God. In Part 2 of this series, we study Ruth and how she lived by God’s timing and God’s principles.
Why am I here? What is my purpose? Does God have a plan for me? We all might phrase the question a little differently but at the root, we're really asking, "How do I know God's will for my life?" While it’s true that God is an awesome Father who loves us very much and Jesus died to give us access to the very throne of God, it's also true that you and I can allow things in our lives that can become a roadblock in prayer - things that hinder our prayer life.

What's the difference between relational prayer and transactional prayer? "Your kingdom come, Your will be done" reminds us that God is... well, God, and when we approach Him our first priority is not to have Him do what we want Him to do - our first priority is His kingdom and His will.
In the Bible, the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, but do you really need taught how to pray? Isn't prayer simple? Actually, in Luke 12, Jesus answers with some important teaching on how to pray.

Every one of us will have the opportunity to be offended - that is just part of the human experience but as children of God and followers of Jesus, we can learn to respond to offense in a way that honors God. This week, we read the story of Hannah, a woman who had lots of opportunities to be offended. However, we can learn a lot from how Hannah chose to respond.
We seem to be living in a day when lots of people are easily offended over lots of things. This topic of offense is certainly nothing new and there are plenty of Scriptures and stories in the Bible that warn us of the dangers of being offended and how to navigate through those offenses so that they don’t dominate our lives and shipwreck our faith.
