Pastor Dave continues the series examining the Apostles' Creed.
Pastor Dave continues the series "I Believe" and in part 4, we focus on the importance of Jesus being conceived of a virgin and what that means for us.
Guest speaker Pastor Robert Shingleton joins us!
Comedian, speaker, and author Dr. Dennis Swanberg joins us! Not only does he bring a large dose of comedy, but also a powerful message about planting shade trees that you may never sit under (and leaving a meaningful legacy in the process).
As we work our way through the Apostles Creed, this week we focus on line 2: “I believe in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord." During the time that Jesus walked on this planet, people were continually asking themselves and one another… "Who is this guy? Who is Jesus?" In this message, we eavesdrop on some conversations in the Bible with world-rocking declarations.
As followers of Jesus Christ….We believe that God is Our Father. He’s not just the Father of Jesus, but He is Our Father. To know God Almighty as God Our Father is one of the greatest revelations any person can ever have in their lifetime. In part 2 of this series, Pastor Dave teaches how this simple truth can completely change our identity.
This series covers the very foundations of our faith: what we believe, why we believe it, and who we believe in.
We all have default settings. We have a default perspective. Attitude. Outlook. And having a default can be a good thing... but if your default goes unchecked, it can keep you from experiencing God’s best for your life. Pastor Kevin Jones of Summit Church shares this fantastic message.
There are 4 clear qualities that we see in the life of Jesus and in this Father’s Day message, Pastor Dave shares what they are and why we should pray for each of those qualities in ourselves and our sons.
We’ve spent a lot of time in this series discussing marriages and relationships, but many in our church are single - maybe they’ve never been married or maybe they’ve gone through a divorce or lost a spouse. Although we know many people are single yet have no desire to be, Scripture teaches that singleness is actually called a gift with world-changing potential!
Jared Showalter of the James Isaac House joins Pastor Dave to share more about the organization, what its services are, and how he came to the center. If you would like more information on the James Isaac House, their resources, or would like to volunteer, visit their website at https://www.tjihouse.org/ or call 1-800-866-2400.
This topic applies to everyone - you may have never struggled with anger or substance abuse, your speech may always be pleasant, you might not have even stolen or hated your brother, but you never hear of anyone that has not struggled with staying pure. We ALL need to pursue purity and in this message, we break down what that really means.
Traci Ketchem of Deeper Still of Mountaineer Country joins Pastor Dave to discuss the long-term effects an abortion has on both women and men, how we can love and support those who have had an abortion, and how Deeper Still retreats are helping to bring healing and restoration to families. For more information on Deeper Still, visit https://www.deeperstillmc.com.
We often forget lots of things: someone's name, why we walked into the kitchen, why we called someone. We need ways to remember the important things in our life - we need a rock collection.
Keith Collins discusses our need for perseverance and endurance in our faith.
Pastor Dave and MD State Delegate Mike McKay discuss new developments in the Maryland political arena regarding abortion and how we can respond.
In part 3 of our series, we talk about finding joy in our relationships and we hear from 2 couples on how they specifically have kept their relationships fun!
In this special Mother's Day message, Pastor Dave speaks on one of the most powerful forces in this world - a mother's voice! Moms, how do you use your voice?
How you fight is the number one predictor of a relationship's success. So... how do you fight? Do you interpret everything said in a negative way? Do you assume the other person is out to get you without any evidence? Guest speaker Pastor Steve Felder explains how we can change how we fight immediately.
Most married couples go into marriage with great expectations, but zero preparations… as Pastor Dave kicks off this brand new series, we discuss healthy expectations for marriage.

"Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep..." For many of us, that may have been the first prayer we ever learned. In today's message, we study the last statement Jesus made from the cross - which sounds a lot like the prayer many of us used to pray before bed.
In previous statements that Jesus made from the cross, He uttered prayers, He has spoken to His mother and His friend, He quoted Scripture, and He fulfilled prophecies. But in today’s statement, He does something totally different. He makes a declaration that literally gives birth to a new way of life.
In the statement discussed in this message, it almost seems like something has gone dreadfully wrong in God's redemption plan. Did God really forsake Jesus on the cross?
In this message, we look at the fourth statement Jesus made while on the cross: two words in English, but only one word in Greek with huge implications. Was Jesus just thirsty when he said “I thirst” or was He saying something more?
