Relationships with other people are a great source of stress. We can learn to live with the peace of God in our relationships by looking inward first, and then by looking at the relationships we have and limiting some and leaving others.
God’s word provides us with the wisdom and truth to make wise decisions with confidence.
Money is a great source of stress, when it could and should be a great source of thankfulness and peace. If we can learn to be content, and to view money as a tool that God uses to shape us - we can live with StressLess Finances.
How do I cling to God’s peace in the face of spiritual attack?
If we order our lives around God’s priorities, determine what truly matters in life, and leave margin for God to move we can have stress less schedules.
It isn’t simply the absence of stress that we are after, but the presence of peace. God’s peace is available to all who know him and abide in him.
We live in a society where being stressed out is normal. While we all face stressors, God’s desire for us is an abundant life, not a life of fear and anxiety.
What would the church of Jesus Christ look like if everyone was exactly as committed as you are? They gave like you gave, they serve like you serve, they share like you share? Would your church be a better place than it is now?

Worship is essential to the Bible, which means it’s central to God and our relationship with Him. True worship happens in spirit and truth: it’s a deeply heartfelt expression of the worth we ascribe to God as He has revealed Himself truly.
We are all created by God to worship. Everyone worships something. We should worship the only one worthy of worship, the one true creator God.
Clarity & Confidence
John is commending those who pray for those they see in sin, but warning them that it might be too late for some to repent. Whether this refers to an unbeliever who has finally rejected God in their heart, or a believer who will be punished by physical death - the warning to stay away from sin is serious.
John has given his testimony, and now presents a better testimony: the water, blood and Spirit. He wants us to believe that Jesus is the Son of God and received eternal life.

I not only love people because I love God, but by loving God I demonstrate that I truly love people. When I obey his commandments, and show that they aren’t burdensome, this is an act of love toward others.
The love of God in me is evidence of God’s existence. That love sanctifies me, motivates evangelism, gives me confidence about my eternal life, and causes me to love others, even my enemies. The love that I have for my brother in Christ is an assurance of my salvation (1 John 2:7-11 - 3/3 sermon). If I am a child of God, love will manifest itself in action (1 John 3:11-18 - 5/26 sermon). We can’t generate Christ-like love through our efforts, we must daily connect to the source of all love - God himself. Because God is love (v. 9).
If we are children of God, abiding in Christ and waiting expectantly for his return, we will have no reason to be ashamed or shrink back from his presence when he returns. Instead, we will be filled with confidence and anticipation at his coming.
John reminds his fellow believers that they must test the spirits that they are listening to and see if they come from God. If they deny the incarnation they are from the enemy. Although there is an enemy, we don’t need to be afraid because we have someone greater on our side: the Holy Spirit.

Our love for one another is a duty and a test. It’s a duty that we’re commanded as christians to practice love. It’a test in that our practice of love for one another demonstrates the reality of our Christian faith. John is telling us that the command to love one another isn’t an optional part of our walk with Christ
John is reminding us that those adopted into the family of God will not be comfortable in this world. Children of God should be uncomfortable in this sinful world, and often reminded that sin is a serious affront to God and contrary to the life of a child of God.
Believers in Jesus Christ have no need to fear deception if we are relying on the Holy Spirit and the Word of God for our doctrine and practice.
Gambling and investing are two fundamentally different things, even if both involve an element of risk. Although there is no clear teaching that gambling is a sin, it can be sinful to participate in it. We must allow the Holy Spirit to guide our understanding of what it means to love our brother and to be good stewards of what He’s given us.
We have are given free will and are responsible before a holy God for our decision to sin. But, God in His great love reaches out to us, and offers us a chance to repent and believe and he chooses to save us.

Revelation is a prophetic, apocalyptic, letter to the 7 churches in Asia about the end of days. It is meant to instill courage and confidence and serve as a warning, while reminding believers that God is ultimately in control of all events.
