They say you shouldn't just live your life for vacations....but I LOVE vacations. I love still living my life on vacation with all the good habits I've put into place.
Wouldn't it be great if we just "knew" everything we needed to know to be happy and successful in life? Alas....it's a Journey. A journey that we don't want coloured with regret and victim type attitudes. Instead....see life as a win or a lesson and keep moving forward.
Don't use excuses to stop you from achieving your dreams. If you wait around to 'feel' better....you might never get there. Find solutions, put them into practice and move forward!
Marriage is work and has a lot of twits, turns and definitely some bumps in the road. Are you equipped to adjust and let things slide sometimes for your greater happiness?
If your ship doesn't come in, swim out to meet it! Gratitude and Attitude need to be focused on daily!

Growing means lessons...even uncomfortable ones....ones you may think you have already learnt. I had a week like this and had to let go of my Static Mindset in order to move forward.
Being able to make a decision and living with the consequences is not only a Habit but it needs to be practiced to become a High Functioning Habit.
Sometimes, once we've made our minds up to step out of our comfort zone the Universe doesn't wait around for us to 'be ready'. It says "you asked, here I am!"
....and sometimes you're the Hen House. How are you reacting is your choice.
Do you look after yourself? Neglect benefits no one. Not you and not the people around you. Look after yourself so you can bring your A Game!
Little update on how my new habits are progressing and the story of a wee bit of a back slide!
You can learn to choose how you respond to situations, it takes practice and there are going to be times, as I talk about in this very personal podcast, where you fail epically!
Sometimes a new habit needs to be 2 or 3 steps back from what you are hoping to accomplish.
This week starts a theme whereby I'll be discussing habits I'm putting into place in my life. Why I'm doing do it and how I implement it. Looking forwarding to learning together.
We are what we think....what we take in, what we learn. So are you thinking the wrong things?
When you live with Intent you get to choose how you react to the world around you.
Do you take the attitude that problems and failures are just that? Or do you accept they are part of the growing experience of living?
Are spending time complaining but doing nothing to change things? Perhaps it's time to change you way of thinking.
How do you tend to naturally react to situations around you? Our need to often "make someone pay" is probably holding you back from resolving a situation and avoid escalation.
Are you managing your money or are you getting caught up in Entitlement issues and not having personal discipline around this subject?
Life is a challenge, but it can be even more of a challenge if you don't have a Why, a Reason or a Goal. It can seem like you are just coasting along with no purpose. And that can breed discouragement.
There is someone out there for almost anything you can think of. Are doing things and wasting time on tasks you don't know how to do? Or NOT doing something and using it as an excuse to not move forward?
Change has to start with you! You can only change yourself, not other people. You are the common denominator in everything in your life.
Life changes so your Habits and acceptance need to change right along with that. Are you owning these changes, or placing blame?
Often we ignore that little voice that speaks to us. Learn to listen, to keep your options open. Live with less Regret!
