This week I sat down with former Navy SEAL Adam Wright from Field Trip Health, the world’s first integrated company in legal psychedelics. Adam heads Field Trip’s veterans division, where he and his team pair veterans with psychedelic therapy to help treat mental health issues related to PTSD. Adam and I discuss the benefits of and science behind Field Trip’s PTSD treatment, a Ketamine assisted psychotherapy administered by specially trained psychotherapist. We dive deep into the stigma associated with psychedelics and how that stigma is rapidly changing with the help of recent studies using psychedelics, as well as books like Michael Pollan’s How to Change Your Mind.
