Jim Peterik is a guitarist, singer and songwriter.  He started his career fronting "Ides of March" and wrote the #2 hit song "Vehicle."  He also co-wrote many songs with .38 Special including "Hold On Loosely" & "Caught Up In You" as well as the song "Heavy Metal" with Sammy Hagar.  And of course he was formerly in  Survivor and wrote or co-wrote all their hits including the #1 hit smash "Eye of the Tiger" from Rocky 3.  In this episode we discuss writing with Brian Wilson, Sammy Hagar & Tom Keifer, songwriting tips, producer style and more!
