There’s nothing quite as rewarding as shaping the next generation of pharmacists. For Megan Smith, it’s all accomplished through precepting. Megan is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the UAMS College of Pharmacy, and most recently, NCPA’s 2022 Preceptor of the Year. In her double-duty role, Megan teaches students valuable clinical skills and trains pharmacists on how they can use precepting to not only influence students but also improve their own practices.
