I know that I certainly am and Jessie Chiang is today’s guest expert specializing in intuition, energy work, and of course connecting with angels. Jessie’s story is an interesting one of overcoming illness as she learned many lessons from the angels. It is especially interesting that she came from a non-religious background for this surprising turn of events during a health crisis and was able to wean herself off antidepressants and become the vibrant healthy woman that she is today! We discuss 3 reasons why angels are here and why we should connect with them, Our life purpose and earth agreements, angel names, gender, and characteristics, as well as lots more about angel guidance! So call it in, call it in with Jessie and Dar.
This has got to be one of my favorite topics. But before we dive in, will you please tell our audience a little bit about yourself?
● Sure. Hi, my name is Jessie Chiang. I am a spiritual business coach at “Intuit with
Jessie”, an intuitive mentor at “lumen spirit club”, and a founder at the “SoClean Company”, which are my bath and body products that help Empaths like us to clear negative energy in the comfort of our own home. In my coaching business, I help spiritual entrepreneurs to locate their gifts and their soul purpose, to reach their goal fast with intuition and energy work. And I teach all sorts of metaphysical subjects at my “luman spirit club”. And I'm all about helping empaths to grow and thrive in their gifts.
Thank you, Jesse. Yes, as our listeners know, we have that in common from helping people thrive with their Empath gifts to helping them find their purpose and living a fuller life. How did you first discover that you can speak with angels?
● I first discovered where and I was severely sick. About 10 years ago, I was diagnosed with severe depression. And the doctor had given me a life sentence with antidepressant and said that I cannot survive without it. And, and at that time, you know, my self-worth confidence…everything was at its lowest. And I was literally bedridden for a few months not functioning for the most part, I could hardly get up. So one night, when I was desperate for help, my husband asked me if he if he could take me to the hospital. And I couldn’t even answer him. I heard him but I couldn't even turn to him and say, “What did you say?” And I feel like I was really giving up on life. And I felt like my body was slowly drifting away. And then soon after, I saw a bright, warm, familiar, non-blinding white light above me as I was laying down in my bed. And then a very comforting, familiar voice said to me,” if you choose to go, you may, but you will have to do this all over again”. And that's when I felt a jolt go through my body as if my body was charged with, you know, lots of electricity to my body. And that's when I was able to turn into my husband and said, “Get me into the ward”. And luckily for me, at that time, they only had one spot left, and I was able to get in. So one week after I got out of the hospital, I was really curious about that light and to know…” what did I see? What did I? What did I feel?” And I had a nudge to start getting into the TV station and ask what is that energy? I want to see that again; I want to know what and who was that. And I had enough to start writing. and I did and I just closed my eyes and I just started writing on a piece of blank paper without looking at what I was writing. And I just felt like this energy was coming through me. And so after I was done writing, I saw messages after messages that I wouldn't be able to tell myself. And this was information about my past lives. They even gave me the dates. People that I was with the time the event of those lifetimes. And they told me who they are. I found out that I was communicating with Archangel Michael, and I got Angel’s names: Thomas and Zachary. And I was shocked because I didn't grow up in a religious way or from a religious institution. I was a free thinker. You know, my parents never really taught me about God or angels or anything like that. I've never really read the Bible. So I had no idea angels even existed. So when I got to know about the angels, I was really shocked and I got scared… but the energy with what they brought through was so loving and comforting, it was really easy for me to get used to it. And so in the next few weeks, as I was communicating with them every single day, they taught me what to eat, how to meditate, where to go, how to move. And because I learned so much about my past life, then I understood that no wonder I have all these talents, no wonder I have this ability or, you know, knowing where to go, you know, and understand myself so much. And after, like, two months, I successfully weaned myself off from antidepressant without the doctor's help. And by the third month, I was able to find a job, and I was able to go to work. And so that was 10 years ago. And ever since then, I have been incorporating the angels, messages and guidance for me to start my business today and be able to run it successfully and making a difference in people's lives. So yeah, that's my story.
Wow, thank you for sharing that story. What an inspiration. And what a validation for angels coming out of a background where you weren't brought up with learning about angels, and then to get off antidepressants that quickly. Yes, and to be thriving today. With using those techniques, how wonderful, thank you. So, you mentioned a few subject areas, but overall, what are these guardian angels here to do then as you understand it?
● As I understand it, they are here to be like the guardrails in our bowling lane. They're the ones who, you know, put us in to make sure that we don't fall off from our path, and make sure that we can fulfill our soul purpose, right. And, and what they helped me to understand is, all of us come in with a certain agreement to fulfill. And I think that's what was the message for me before, you know, it says, “if you choose to go, you may, but you will have to do it all over again”. So I give up this lifetime, I have to come back the next lifetime, because I had agreed upon this contract, to help people to help enlighten people to make a difference in people's lives. And I see that all of us. And I'm sure your audience too, who are listening to this, you know, the reason we're called to do this work, and to be in touch with our intuition is because we have this this ability or this nudge to go after helping people enlighten their life as well. We want to create that positive ripple effect and helping this collective awakening. So back to your question, you know, I really think God and angels are here to keep us on the right track. They are here to help us. They're here to teach us unconditional love, and to help us realize our fullest potential. And so many of us, you know, tried to downplay and suppress our talents. And, you know, did try to dim our light, because that is supposedly, quote unquote, the best thing to do. But the angels are saying, no, we want you to shine your light. And, in fact, the angels reminded me of that night when I saw that light was how bright they shine. And because of that shining light, I became more empowered. And as I step into my power,
and I continue to shine my light, I can see my audience, My followers, My clients are all enlightened as well. They want to become more like me, and I get to celebrate them. So the beauty of it was, I think the guardian angels are here to just really uplift everyone from thinking that life should be a misery that life should be suffering and it's supposed to be it's not supposed to be that way. It's supposed to be a lot of fun, a lot of joy and a lot of blessings. Yeah.
I absolutely want to second that. Life of joy and blessings and the bright and shiny the bright light and, and our guardian angels are here to encourage us to shine brighter. And to be more.
Yeah. I can't talk about guardian angels without having a discussion about names and gender. So how about diving into that?
● Yeah, I think you'll agree with me that the guardian angels don't necessarily like to, or they don't really have a name attached to them, they do have a certain energy that they carry. And sometimes it can feel like they are more masculine or more feminine, but they don't have a gender. And they don't necessarily have a name, you can only set the intention to connect with them. But if you do want a name, just so you can identify them so that it's easier for you to communicate with them. I would suggest really ask for a sign, ask for a sign of ask what their name is, you can ask guardian angels,” can you give me a name so that I can connect with you? “And sometimes more often than not, they can show you a sign from maybe a billboard, maybe you know, somebody's name that's coming up more often. Again, and again over a few weeks. And you'll know, and or you can tune into your heart and get a feeling of what that name is. And the great thing about angels is that they never get tired of repeating themselves. So they repeat and repeat until you get it. Right.
Which is awesome. Yes.
● And I also want to, you know, bring it up to audience here to know that, you know, angels and humans are two different thing is like comparing human to a cow, you know, this, like, with two different species have never been human. They are an entity, different entity altogether than humans. So they don't act like us, they are not like us. They don't have features like us. They may appear like they have some features. But just they just want you to understand or to see them in that light so that you can connect with them. But otherwise, they are just a ball of light.
Yes, and I agree with all of that. And I agree that it's human tendency for us to connect, that we end up associating colors, or features like you mentioned, or even the name. I know quite a few people like to know the name of their, at least one of their guardian angels. And that's just a human thing.
● I agree. 100%.
I was telling Jesse a story before we went on that I wanted to name every single stuffed animal or baby doll or any toy, I wanted to name them all, Laura May. And in hindsight, Laura May was my imaginary friend, she was my guardian angel. And when I got to the point where I'm saying she…because she appears to me in pinks and rose colored, and she also is so compassionate that it seems to be female energy. And I also have male guides or guides that appear with male energy. But anyway, my point is that her real name, or the name, the official name she gave me is labezz. And when you listen to that, you know it's an unusual name. And a friend of mine, his primary guide, the name was kind of a guttural foreign sounding that reminded him of cupboard so he has a primary guide that he calls cupboard like a kitchen cupboard. And he jokes about it. And he says that, you know, his, his guardian angel does have a sense of humor. They take on those characteristics that we can identify them with the most. So those are my name stories, but Jesse you also said that the names you come up with for your clients, if they want to know are usually foreign sounding…. correct?
● Yeah. And are some really ancient, really ancient names. And also the messages that come through, the choice of words, they use are I liken it to be very Renaissance time? Yeah, very ornate. And they can be long winded. And yeah, and some of those words that come up, you know, I can't even I don't even know. And I, you know, my spelling's are off. So I also have to Google it. Yeah.
Yes, I identify with that as well. So how can our listeners know? If they're angels have anything to say? Or any guidance to give them?
● I laugh because he does have a lot to say.
That's what I find to be true. But how do they know?
● Right? How do they know? If you haven't connect with your angels? Well, for sure, they have a lot of things to say. But you can ask your guardian angels by asking this question saying, going to the angels, “what would you like me to know?” What would you like me to do? “ “What can I learn about you?” And see, ask for a sign, ask for a butterfly, or your favorite angel number. My favorite angel number is 777. I got married on July 7 2007. So I knew that when I got married, I was on the right track. So then every time I asked if I'm on the right track making this decision, and I asked for a sign, I would see 777. And even if I don't believe that number, sometimes they'll show it again and again. One time, there was a little van, I was driving on the road. And at that point, I have already seen maybe four 777. And I was like, I don't believe you. Show me another one. And I was driving and then this van drove past me. And the phone number for that service, or the van says 7777777. I gave up. I was like, Okay, gotcha. So you can always ask. And then if you want to have a certain message, you know, you want the message to come through and just be open minded. You know, it can come through other people's voice, other people's messages, or during conversation, right? And, or it could be something that shows up in the book while you're reading it, or maybe from a YouTube video, and you'll see a consistency in those messages. And if you feel like okay, I'm very intuitive, I think I can listen to them, I will suggest you to sort of go into a meditation mode and receive that message and see what keeps repeating itself. And oftentimes, those messages are very simple. And it doesn't require you to do anything. It's always about have fun. Love yourself, forgive yourself. And so that is one of the ways that I can tell is the angels. But if you feel if there is a action step, it usually is also a very easy action step. It could be to write an email, to call this person you know, take a walk, and I often notice this kind of simple action always leads to something else. They always lead to an open door. Do you relate with that Darla?
Oh, absolutely, absolutely. That it's usually small, simple. Actions first, you don't, you know, usually do something real large. Unless, unless you're ready for it? Yes, for sure. So I'm going to add one more that I think is just a fun game that I play and that is if I'm riding in the car, and I'll ask “ if there's something that I need to know…..” “is there something that I need to know today or take action on today? “Please, you know, tell me a song”, and my radio will be off and then I'll turn it on. And I am always amazed at the lyrics of the first song that comes on.
● I got goosebumps from you saying that, yeah, there was a few times where I was thinking of something and I wasn't sure if I was going to go for it. And then the songs kept saying, Go for it go for it was something along that line with the lyrics. And I just knew, Okay, this is it.
Yes. And that's, that's a fun one. You know, I don't always do it. I don't always remember to do it. But if I have the radio off in the car, and then I'm going to go to turn it on, then I'll say,” if there's something I need to know, today, any guidance that I need, please have it appear in the next song lyrics.”
● Good one,
And that always amazes me and pleases me.
● And to know you're not alone.
Right. Right. You're never alone. Your guides are always with you. Yeah, your guardian angels. (I am interchanging that word, I guess.) Yes. So then how can they distinguish between a message being from a guardian angel or not? Or, you know, like you said, at first, you were fearful. And I remember that feeling too… that it might be something else. Or it might be my creative imagination. So how can they distinguish?
● So how do you know it's your angel's messages, and not something else? Angel message are often like something really friendly, something really comforting, loving and caring. So such as the lyrics of the song. Right? Right. And is often said in a way that is for your own good. It has a loving message. And it's not about the ego. It's not about like hurting anyone. It's really all about you being in that joy. So when you hear when you listen to and it has that intention, you can safely say that that is from an angel. Another
way to know is that they often expand the thought by using three words at a time. Like yes, “you will love your love your love”, you know, they like to repeat things. And you also can tell that the angels talk together. So sometimes you'll get a sense that several angels are talking all at once. So it's a party. It can sound like you know, they're having a choir, it can feel like that. And also, angels cannot give or ask for advice. So if you're not, if you're not asking for any advice, they won't be giving you any answers. So only when you ask that you'll get something in return. One last thing I'd like to add is that angels do say “patience” a lot. So if you get patience, I love you, have fun.... Those are like the key things. The key words that I feel were the angels.
Yes, I agree that it's that I describe it as “that still quiet voice” not that ego, drama, sounding whatever it is advice or directive. They don't do that. Like Jesse said, “you ask and then you receive”. And it's usually it's usually quite bright and light and encouraging.
● Yes, encouraging is the word.
What are some of the reasons that our listeners should consider communicating with their guardian angel if they haven't been?
● Well, they if you are feeling like you're alone in this path, you know, especially if you're a sensitive soul, you're an empath, and you have psychic gifts. I highly recommend you to connect with your guardian angel so that you don't have to do this alone, first of all, and second of all, you don't have to do all the work. The angels are always ready to help you and of course if you ask for the help they are more than ready And one of my biggest joys in doing this work, you know, when I connect my clients with angels is that they don't have to do anything, they can just go with the flow they go with like this flowing with the river. And yes, they may do a little bit of work here and there. But they're open to receiving from the universe, they open to collaborate with the universe and the angels. And the result is often bigger than they ever imagined. So in terms of, if you're running a business, or you're in a corporate job, and you want to make a bigger impact you want to improve. And we often get caught up with like, oh, how do we do it and get confused and scared, and all of that, right. But when we engage the angels to help this path… all opens by itself. You know, in when we pray, we were literally sending it out there and say, I want help, and they will open this path for us. And all we have to do is just take that one step, move forward one step at a time. And so I want to just share that this is you can choose it to be easy, you can choose to do it with joy, you can choose to do it with flow. And this will be my only reason why I want to bring that out. And this is how I have been able to heal from depression from all my health issues. Because I follow the easy path because I engaged it the angels.
