Sarah, please tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got into this work.

●     Yes, well, hello. And first of all, thank you so much for having me. I am happy to be here today. I am an entrepreneur, an alignment mentor, and author. And I am Mama of three, I have three children. And what got me into this work was my own desire to shift into a higher feeling story. I think for me, I struggled quite a bit with anxiety, and with depression, and a lot of trauma and things that I experienced in my childhood. So for me, it really was about finding a holistic approach, finding a way to wean myself off of my own anxiety medication and to really just ground deeper in my alignment. It was really my desire to do this work that led me here.
 
 Thanks for that wonderful story. I especially like when you talk about staying in alignment and getting into alignment with your desires. Would you tell our listeners what you consider to be like the most important part of that?

●     Yes. So when we are in alignment with our desires, we are, you know, we're on a frequency above the vibrational line and we are feeling good, we're, you know, we're feeling good. So it's like, we know when we're in alignment, when we're when we are feeling good. And when we're moving in that energy, that confidence, that courage, the inspiration, the pleasure, the flow and inspiration and all of those things. So now when we're out of alignment, we are separating ourselves from those feelings. So we're not receiving them into our portal. And so the most important piece is to not look at the contrast as though you know, not getting attached to what is going wrong or what's not working and actually looking at that gap and, and focusing in on closing the gap when you're in that. So there's so many different things that I implement to to move through the contrast such as releasing the bad feeling emotions from my body and allowing myself to keep moving because that is the most important piece of staying in alignment is continuing to move through the contrast to moving through the contrast and teresting. I love your phrase above the vibrational line. Because anything above the vibrational line we know for sure that is working.

I've heard you use the phrase pleasure embodiment. So embodiment. So could you talk about that just a little bit?

●     Yes. So, you know, the more that we care about how we feel in the present moment, the more we're allowing ourselves to, to receive pleasure, and especially for women. This comes there's a lot of heavy conditioning and things that we've been told about feeling good and about actually going after what we want. And I know for me, self-judgment and like guilt and shame around feeling really good and actually foreboding pleasure is a huge thing that causes a lot of us to resist our alignment. When we look at that and we start seeing that we do get to feel really good like we get to be in this pleasure state the majority of our time you know “above the vibrational line,” then we start to really flow in our experience like we, the flow is more, is more, it's occurring naturally, it's, it's like you're not forcing yourself to be in it, you're, you're inspired, you're moving your body more, you're, you know, just showing up for yourself and actually putting yourself first putting your pleasure first, you know, that's a whole other thing, you know, it's like, looking at what, what are the patterns that aren't working and, and shifting those to be in alignment with pleasure, because the more you can embody it, now, it's good, it compounds over time. So it's like, even if it's just little moments and little, little things that you can anchor in to feel good, that's going to, it's going to show up later, you know, as long as you're consistent in the practice, and it's going to compound over time, and close that gap. Even, it's going to be shorter to close that gap.

Oh, I love how you talk about consistency, once you start working on feeling good, and it becomes a natural flow, it has like a compound benefit. Let's talk about the other side, though. What about when you just aren't feeling it? How do we shift?

●     Yes, so the biggest thing is to not actually judge yourself for feeling for not feeling good, you know, for an and taking the space to actually let it out to actually fully process you know, that in the kind of emotions that are coming up. So grief, guilt, shame and anger. And you know, by doing this you really got over exaggerating the emotion in your body and, or fear. I mean, fear is a huge one that pops up. And a lot of times it's like about actually crying it out, you know, really frickin just putting all of your anger or your fear or your doubt or your grief into almost like a toddler version of yourself. And you're and you over exaggerate the emotion. And you can punch pillows, you can, you know, literally, like, flail around like a toddler would if they were afraid or if they were, you know, feeling a lot of sadness. And, you know, this is so important is giving yourself space to actually feel and process it all the way through the body and not and not staying like still in that emotion. So it's like you've got to release it!

Beautiful analogy with releasing like a toddler for feeling grief, or guilt or shame or fear and not getting into that wheel of criticism and judgment. I'm sure we've all done that where the wheels in our brain just keep going over and over and over it and being critical and judgmental. Such a beautiful release. Yes. Can you please tell our listeners how they can open themselves up to receive on a deeper level? To receive that feeling of good natural flow? Perhaps maybe you could take us through a short process of alignment.

●     Yeah, so this is a big one. This is really important because the moment that there's some resistance, like a lot of times, there we come against, there's I call them pleasure edges. And we'll come to this space in our expansion where it is time for our next up level or we're being called to go deeper in our own healing or our own, you know, whatever it is that is popping up for us. So we've got to first of all, first and foremost, make the space for silence and for like actually not have you still in our mind and practicing nonresistant meditation. And this is something that I implement a lot in my programs and with clients is teaching them how to do this because it's actually a lot easier to teach, teach how to not have resistance with your thoughts than it is to you know, practice. An affirmation that you don't actually believe, you know, so we've got to work into it. So yeah, I mean, I would love to do a little short visualization, just just to explain and how you can practice this nonresistant thought meditation. And so the one thing is, if you're going to want to have some kind of sounds to practice and it can be just birds outside, it can be, you know, inside time or meditation app, it can just be like spa, relaxing music. And you're going to close your eyes, and you're going to listen to the sound and the sound, it's really important that you don't have any kind of like, judgment towards the sound like it's, it's just a sound like there's a you don't have any, there's, there's nothing that you're getting you you need to get out of this meditation, the focus is that you're you're stilling your mind by by bringing your awareness to the sounds and coming back, when your mind wanders to. And there'll be all sorts of things that are popping up and wandering to, and you'll notice, like, where are you getting attached? Like, where are you holding on to certain thoughts and, and now you want to practice, your thoughts are floating by, like clouds in the sky, like birds in the sky, and you're, you're focusing on the sounds around you, and you're and, and plugging in as long as you can. And this is where the resistance will come in. Because it'll be like, oh, I need to do something, oh, I, you know, Oh, this isn't working, right. And like, there'll be all sorts of things popping up. But like, that's actually for you. And that's the most important piece that is coming to finally letting go. And sometimes this will, you know, it will take some space, and it will take deeper alignment. And you'll keep practicing it until you just let go and you will feel it. And that is the space, that's the magic, where you do plug in on a much deeper level and you are receiving a much higher guidance of where your next step is taking you and you know what is no longer in alignment with who you are and with what you desire. And that's where you can let go a little bit more of any unhealthy attachments and patterns of thought and, and really integrate the ones that are serving you. So I mean, I encourage you all to practice that meditation, just listening to a really calming sound one that you don't have judgment to just listening to the sound like that's all you gotta do is just listen and then focus in on your breath and come back and just really let go of anything that is popping up that content, you know, that's trying to take your awareness away and making that space for yourself.

Beautiful, that nonresistant meditation technique, and they're going to find out how priceless that is, once they get into practicing that and repeating it. So thank you for sharing that with our listeners. Absolutely. One other thing I want you to share is about you being an author and your book “Awaken You” ... would you chat a little bit about that?

●     Yeah, so this is really a great self-healing transformational book if you want to be growing from the inside out and really shifting out of any kind of free fear frequencies. So that you are flourishing as you grow and that you are you know, things are feeling good for you and and you're connecting deeper to your intuition and you're leading from that space that awakened energy and that you know, you're coming from a space of overflow so it's like you know, that is the focus is that overflow, you know, being really consistent even when it even when it feels like it isn't working yet because a lot of the times when we're calling in our next level, there is going to be a space that we have to calibrate calibrate to and a lot of the times when we unplug, you know that unplugging, coming back to plug in plug coming back, you know, unplugging plugging, unplugging plugging. Now, that is the wobbly energy that we have to focus on shifting and and moving in the newer higher frequency for ourselves and, and a lot of times when we may not we may not think it's working right away. And if we unplug our energy, then it's not, you know, we're right about that. So the book is really going to support you to really master this movement towards your desires and continuing to stay in the momentum. No matter what, like no matter what just really be all in on your own healing your own expansion because of how you feel when you're plugged in.

Wow. Moving toward their desires and flourishing as you grow, and the idea of consistent overflow. Awesome. So again, the title of that book was “Awaken You”. And we'll have more information on the show notes page for our listeners.
