Episode description

Have you ever heard the term Kundalini energy and thought, What the heck is that? Kundalini is actually your natural birthright, and the gateway to becoming who you were destined to be. Not everyone is consciously aware of this powerful and transformative energy, but it's located within all of us at the base of the spine, within the last three vertebrae of the tailbone, or coccyx.

Kundalini is a Sanskrit word meaning coiled up, and like a sleeping serpent, the energy often lies dormant at the base of the spine, until it is experienced. It is often associated with the direction of the South. All over the world there are names for this transformative energy. “Dumo, Fire” of the Buddhist, “Long” of the Tibetans, “Holy Fire'' from the Christian mystics and “Greater Kan `` and''Li `` from China. Kundalini is a natural part of being human and is gifted to everyone. Kundalini can be sensed, seen, felt, smelled and heard. Sometimes, it has displays of light, as bright as the sunshine or brilliant colors transparent like a rainbow. Many people experienced enhanced sounds of their surroundings, like leaves rustling, bells, or wind chimes, insects buzzing or humming, wind blowing and smells of roses, cherry blossoms, lavender, incense, even tactile symptoms ranging from goosebumps to a trembling or shaking, or even a hurricane building increasingly within you have sunshine and energy. The experience is different for everyone.

Kundalini is a natural part of being human and it works somewhat like an electrical generator. Building up power over time. brain research supports that the more we fool our subconscious or train our subconscious with these types of visualizations, the more the subconscious believes them to be true and it will create a transformational physical effect in the body to boost your energy, enhance your immune system, increase your focus and concentration, as well as prevent overall burnout.

Kundalini can also be triggered by things like an accident to the tailbone, severe emotional duress, prayer and deep meditation, sex, passion or even love. When you move out of the ego mind in the pure emotion, it appears. Remember, it's in everyone, but it might be laying dormant, like a coiled-up snake at the base of the spine.

When awakened, Kundalini forms the bridge to go from mind to heart, or earth to divinity. Because everyone enters the Kundalini process, with their own unique history, habits, values and beliefs, it becomes their own unique personal experience. Rumi says, “I have come to bring out the beauty you never knew you had and lift you like a prayer to the skies”. That's Kundalini energy.

So, call in this personal gift of transformational energy, call in the bright light within you that might be laying dormant, call in the serpent, the serpent ray, to clear, clean, balance and shine within you. Call it into existence, “Call IT in With Dar”!

The experience is different for everyone. So, let's take a minute or two to experience this powerful energy. Bringing this podcast out of theory and definition into practice. Turn off all distractions, shut down open tabs and get ready to focus on my voice to follow along. The first step in discovering our own unique Kundalini energy is to raise your personal frequency or vibration. You can do that by going for a brisk walk outside, finding something to laugh about, or rubbing your hands together really, really quick until you feel the energy rise between them. A quick way for us to do it today is with a small flute sound called a Love Tuner. Focusing on the sound of 528 hertz and following along with my breathing. The sound and the breathing together will raise your vibration. So, breathe in to the count of four. Breathe in 2-3-4 and then breathe out for the count of four. With the tone sound in 2-3-4 out 2-3-4 in 2-3-4 out 2-3-4 feel yourself relaxing. Breathe normally, and let go of all outside thoughts. Energy follows intention. So, for the next couple minutes, let's focus our intention on sunshine. Bright, warm, welcoming sunlight. If any other thoughts come into your mind, just push them away, tell them they can come back in a couple minutes. See this sunlight behind your closed eyelids. envision the sun so bright, that tiny points of static appear behind your eyelids like a movie screen. As you relax, perhaps even colors begin to randomly stream in as you focus more and more on the bright light behind your eyelids. Keeping that light ray image, creates another ray of sunshine. And this one we're going to pinpoint at your sacrum or your tailbone. You're still seeing the bright light behind your eyelids. But now you're imagining that bright light entering your tailbone area ...begin to feel the heat of that sun building. You use your imagination or mind's eye to duplicate the same experience that you had previously behind your eyelids. This time feeling the warm light and the static and the growing sunshine at the base of your spine. Next, feel a circular energy like the sun is spinning and turning there. See a grow as it circles inside you. brighter and larger. The ball of energy now begins to separate into a serpent-like glowing band that has started to travel up, up and around your spine like a snake. See and feel it as it twists and turns, warming and lighting up each vertebrae. as it travels further and further up your spine and the back of your body. Become aware of all your senses. And this experience is of your own personal, unique Kundalini. When the bright warm reaches up your neck to the top of your crown... imagine it pushing out toxins, negativity and debris, pushing it out off the top of your head and leaving only the bright, transformational Kundalini energy within you. Take some nice deep breaths and revel in that experience. What did you experience during our little experiment? The more that you repeat this activity on your own. The more intensity you'll notice building with the practice. Kundalini is a natural part of being human and it works somewhat like an electrical generator.
