The astral world is beyond the physical world with no specific boundaries, no time and space coordinates, no solids, no liquids, no gas, no molecules or atomic particles, but rather a collective energy and mass consciousness that is frequently changing. The term astral is taken from the Greek word meaning “related to a star”. It has been explored as a place of ancient people, spirits, and angelic beings and masters. In the New Age references, it has become defined as a place of manifesting and co-creating dreams into reality. When setting out to visit the astral plane, the ordinary Earth plane senses of seeing, touching, hearing, smelling and tasting will have no use in the astral world and therefore becomes rather confusing. To my knowledge, a clear sense of clairvoyance is necessary to experience this world. And that sense can be developed!
However, there are two different approaches. The first approach is to actually stay in your physical body, while using psychic vision to sense the astral plane...somewhat like deep meditation with your intuitive third eye. The second perhaps you've heard of, and it's called astral travel, where the individual leaves his physical body to travel to the astral world, or have a dreamlike state. This is how I first explored the astral level. It was during sleep, and when I returned to the physical plane, it would take me a few minutes to adjust to being back in my body. Most noticeable was the delay in being able to move my arms or hands almost like I was pinned down. If that has ever happened to you, perhaps you've been astral traveling. And if that's so you might want to set a specific intention for your next outing, or your next out of body experience before you fall asleep. Be assured that you are always connected to the physical body by a thin filament or a cobweb light cord. Here is a rather personal secret...my travels are accompanied by physical snoring, which I can actually hear, once I've entered the earth plane.
Or as I'm leaving, it's kind of like a homing device to come back to the right physical body. (Although I'm not worried about going back into someone else's because of that thin cord.) They astral body isn't an etheric substance of extremely high vibration, and through astral vision of the clairvoyant, it appears like vapor or fog. As previously mentioned, the advantage of the astral world is that it's a place to manifest or co-create, individually or collectively, events that you would like to have happen.
Perhaps one of the hardest things to realize about the astral is that it is just as real as the material physical world that you know, an analogy would be steam...steam is as real as water, or fog...fog is as real as rain. For instance, one cannot see electricity, but you use it and know its benefits daily. I might also mention that the law of motion and the law of constant change operate on the astral plane, just as those laws operate on the physical pain plane. The astral world is misunderstood by people who are trying to use physical measures, like time, space and distance. So, let's get a little more specific. First of all, anything that we experience on the physical level was first created on the astral level where the creative process resides. Once humans get focused, particularly emotionally focused on a specific thing, the imaginary event happens in the physical world and becomes real (An example of critical mass). These imagined events can be either negative or positive. Depending on the collective consciousness. Take a moment to consider some possibilities and reflect back on our past events.
Now, let's consider the principle of “like attracts like”. Where you travel to on the astral plane will be where your belief system and emotions are pulling you. So, the location you find yourself in in the astral world, is where you are automatically drawn to by your intention, mind's focus and emotions, either unconsciously or consciously. In my early days of astral travel, I would find myself working in emergency disasters, rescuing and healing people. On the physical plane, I was learning multiple healing modalities. So, unconsciously my intention was to heal. So here is an example of traveling to an astral territory that matched healing.
On the other hand, simply willing yourself to travel somewhere doesn't always work unless you provide a strong emotional feeling about it. And your belief system has to kind of propel you like fuel in a rocket ship to that territory. In fact, like a rocket, you can travel quickly, if your mind remains totally focused on that destination. But if your attention shifts and you think something else, so will your direction and you'll go flying off the other way. Boundaries, time and space are all flexible in the astral world. If you are wondering about how to distinguish between good and bad energies in the astral world, light is the answer. Light is radiated from all beings. Unlike in the physical world, where the sun is the brightest light source. The lower critical beings are creating very little light. The higher the vibration the brighter the light. Power can be defined by frequency, intensity, clarity and focus. The more balanced your emotional energy, the more power to align with your intention. Reason, will, and feelings all come into play.
Dreams of flying or floating are often the beginning of exploring the astral plane. Sometimes defined as the lower astral reality. Although I hesitate to use the term lower, because there aren't high or low boundaries or coordinates. Everything is a point of energy. It's not a staircase, or it's not levels. This episode was intended to provide a few details so that you can become acquainted with the characteristics of the astral world, and how they compare or how they don't compare to the physical one. If you'd like to learn more, seek out an experienced healer teacher. To help you move to the higher levels. Things can get a little scary out there. But fear can be controlled by making a white shield around yourself for protection... by following light sources... by using a mantra that includes the name of your higher power, remembering that they all exist in the spiritual world of the gods, (the astro-world specifically), call on your guides, ascended masters or spiritual leaders. Let them know you'd like to visit for a greater understanding. Meditate to build a bridge across the worlds connecting them. Practice creating the bridge over several sessions before you actually use it to travel. You could also use the night prayer by Engelbert Humperdinck, who created it for the Hansel and Gretel production. When I night, I go to sleep. 14 angels watch, do keep to my head are guarding to my feet are guiding too upon my right hand to upon my left hand to who warmly cover to who over me hover. To to whom to is given to guide my steps to heaven.
So, I hope this episode inspires you to learn even more about the astral world that has no boundaries, no time. No space coordinates, no solids, no liquids, no gases, no molecules, but rather energy, light and collective consciousness. Where like attracts like, where co creation occurs where change and transformation is a constant. So call it into your awareness. Call it in with Dar!
