This year marks the 43rd anniversary of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, a vibrant celebration of LGBTQIA+ rights and culture that attracts visitors from all over the world.

We'll delve into the rich history of World Pride and our local Sydney Mardi Gras, which began as a protest march in 1978 and has since evolved into one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in the world.
