On Being Tactless: The Case of The Chef, The Seasoning and the Mistaken Baliser Plant Plane Design
Episode description
The joke starts with "A Chef, a Bottle of Seasoning and an Airplane walk into a bar. . . " The punchline? Its Tactless. In this episode we're re-joined by our friend Quincy Ross who regaled us with his story of the Caribbean Airlines rebrand way back in the day and the offhand, politically charged comment by the then Prime Minister. But starting the show, is the mysterious case of the "Pork is Life" comment by Chef Jason Peru and all the noise that came with it. Then as if we didn't have enough on our plate NESTLÉ hit us a two for one with their Indian Arrival Day Social Media post, food filled Tabla drums. Oh boy. . . and of course the Johnny Depp trial and all the S**t associated with it. This is going to be a fun and insightful almost philosophical episode! Like share and subscribe! But That's Not Important Right Now! A Podcast about Caribbean advertising, PR, social media and how we got from there to here, every Monday.
