Perfect so we're all gonna make. Mistakes but if it you, know from an official, standpoint you just want. Consistency if you're going to call it in the first, quarter call it in the fourth, quarter if you're going to call it on, us you got to call it on. Them and you're always telling the officials like it doesn't matter if it's you, know the fourth quarter The Super, bowl or it's the you, know the second quarter In week.

Hard that's.

Hard you look at you, know you look at the end of The Super bowl and that, that like you, said that was probably less of a hold than than what happened in the, game you, know in the Game monday, Night sunday.

Night so how is that like critiqued and taught like behind closed? Doors because, clearly you know when a situation like, that you don't really hear from the referees right. After like you, know you guys kind of operate as a team from the outside looking. In it's like you got the head guy who's going to take the. Blame but what is what are those conversations look like behind closed?

Doors, YEAH i mean there's so much evaluation that goes into, Officials like it's.

Crazy they're you, know they're evaluated right in the.

Moment there's, replay, coaches, players the, MEDIA, Tv we're all evaluating them in real time and after the. Game like you, said there's a, crew the white, hat the, referee and then there's six other officials that work with that, crew and they travel for the most part together throughout the, year and they're evaluated on every.

Play of every.

Game there's former officials that sit and look look at, film they look at coaches, copy they look AT, tv and they look at every call that's, made every call that should have been. Made they look at their, positioning their, mechanics and they get an evaluation sheet of report each week and that accumulates during the. Season so if you don't grade out, well you're not going to get a postseason.

Assignment you're.

Not and if you really don't grade out well over the course of maybe two or three, years they let you. Go so there's a real comprehensive evaluation system in, place and so there they are held. Accountable but we don't see, it, right they. Don't the head coach gets up on the podium after the. Game you, know you get a microphone in a player's, face but we don't talk to the.

Officials in the.

LEAGUE i think that's good because that can put the officials in a tough.

Spot but they are evaluated and they are held.

Animal is there any criteria for ref to be in? Shape do you guys like do like a you, know like maybe run a mile under fifteen minutes and residential thirteen push when sort of presidential test because you see so many, times first, off boys are wearing slacks out. There that's a tough look, maybe but some shorts In. September but you see a lot of guys are they're huffing and, puffing especially the faster the pace, game pace of the game gets now with the running clock as

Look at and it is there's no question when the competition and committee gets, together, right quarterbacks are an. Asset, right there's ONLY i don't know even know if we have you, know thirty two that are quality. Quarterbacks, Right there's very few people that can play that position at a level like A Patrick, Mahomes, Right so that is definitely an, asset and it's something they're in a defenseless posture a lot of the, time and so they should

Hand they talk, about you, know if you're taking the quarterback to the, ground if you can brace, yourself if you can get off to the.

Play defense, now it really, is and there's less things you can, do and the game happens so. FAST i think you look at you got to study. Film you got to look at your. Officials they look at each crew and they, say, okay we're averaging like fifteen fouls a, game right. Now, okay that's both teams all in accepted declient. Offset and you look At, okay one crew is averaging, ten the other crew is averaging. Twenty, well what's the? Deal is it the two teams or are those crews

Calls you got one hundred calls during the. Season you got ninety three, right you're ninety three.

Percent there was some subjective elements added in terms of like you, know you have your, supervisors you're degrading them on other, things so they're not just solely great based hall base because like you, said then you, know IF i KNOW i can't get another incorrect, CALL i might be less likely to throw my. Flag and you can't officiate that, way, Right you're just it's a, problem.

Especially when you like you you know you can't. Help but think about. It with, that there was like a thirty for thirty episode with the referee in the basketball that.

People and that was always my one of my biggest fears WHEN i was at the league. Office what if we have like AN nba situation with gambling and things like. That so the, league the league has groups that they look at the betting, Lines they look how calls, officials calls are impacting the, lines how they're impacting.
