Our body listens to and responds to every single thought we ever have and creates an internal environment that matches it--one of either stress or relaxation, depending upon the story we are telling ourselves.
Our very thoughts can keep us stuck in a mind-body loop that plays back over and over again, keeping us reliving the same stressors and stories day in and day out.
It's the story of a "you" aka- the small self. But also inside ourselves, resides a "Big Self" that is impervious to the thought loop keeping us stuck. It's that aspect of ourselves, or God consciousness, that comforts, heals and guides us to something much larger and greater than our small self could ever imagine. We only need to surrender to it.
