00:00- 9:17 - The chefs get back into the kitchen after a bye week and discuss how they are feeling about the systemic racism and social unrest going on in America. 9:17-12:00- Jesse and Lance continue their conversation regarding racial inequality and look through the lens of sports to go deeper. 12:00-15:22 - The chefs explore the performative aspect of activism and how everyone now has a brand in 2020 that they need to uphold. 15:22- 23:22 - Lance and Jesse discuss their highlights from the past week which include Lance volunteering, reading and figuring out ways to be smarter with his money during this time. Jesse shares a fascinating New Yorker article about how apples go bad as well as the Bon Appetit magazine editor in chief being cancelled. 23:22-28:11- The chefs share their thoughts on the enter Adam Sandman movie Uncut Gems. 28:11- 1:06:15- Jesse and Lance reveal their top 9 summer sanders foods. 1:06:15-1:10:09- Lance recommends a podcast called Higher Learning from the Ringer and a podcast from the Equal Justice Initiative. Jesse suggests Braiserbacks support their local restaurants that are African American owned. 1:10:09- 1:13:07- The chefs jump into there “Is that A Joke” segment which includes Jesse’s Kirk cousin making loud breathing noises in his sleep and Lance doing a joke on a zoom show that doesn’t go as planned. 1:13:07- 1:19:18- Jesse’s questionable at best for the week is Drew FeBreeze scented garbage bags and Lance finds the reading curriculum in today’s education system to be QAB. 1:19:18- 1:24:20- The Chefs bring in the closer and promote what they have going on.
