I don't have a ship show to y'all. How about one x L. You see what this thing is. Huh,
you might need a large. You might need a large because this is an extra large right here. You don't have a you know, you don't have these, so it might be a little too xcel L whatever works, whatever works. Need a ship show, hoodie, ship show coming soon. Yeah, down, come to the ship show and give us, give us some big facts. Yeah you know, I'm calling ship Yeah. We gotta get him. We gotta get the whole gang up. Yeah yeah yeah the o g Listen this what's been
going on on? So the media, right, this is what we're gonna start off talking about. A lot of people have been talking about getting into contracts as a rapper, bad contracts. Uh, you know, CEO is doing this, the artists running off and so far and so forth. So let's give our spell on that, Like what what do you think of artists can do to stop from getting into a bad contract? And do you think that like you think that sometimes maybe the artists be tripping, like
I'm in a bad contract. But like a lot of times artists might have went to the CEO or the money person I want to with you see what I'm saying. So it's like you said, read how when you say, like a nigga goes to the CEO and be like, bro, I want to So basically he's putting his ass on
the plate. I don't say that. You see a time and time again, over and over they're gonna spend a hunting and two hunting or more on an artist and then down the line it just don't work out because the artists feel like, well, I don't like this situation. I don't like this contract, I don't like the way this is. But then, like you said, you got to read because I bet when that or that thirty or that fifty was in front of they probably let's see, I can I can, like I'd be willing to bet
like nine and three fourth times. I'd attend every nigg has ever been in a fun up contract got into that contractor entered into that agreement because they were fucked up. Yeah for sure. But does that means you just get yourself into some motherfuck up ship. No, but it's it's just like when it's just like when you're broke and you have zero dollars, like your your rationale is a little bit thrown off because yeah, that's what I'm saying, Like, like,
I'm gonna give you fifty. It's fair at that time? Is it fair a year or two later when the nigga blow to me, I feel like, because you got niggas with money that usum fun the contract just because well I don't even know what. Then the country is. The country is. You didn't negotiate or you didn't get a lawyer to check your ship out, So how does that contract because you didn't it wasn't sucked up when you was fucked up. That's what I'm saying that fifty said,
I'm gonna give you fifty for fifty. Yeah, yeah you can. You can leave it all the way out to the nigga what it is, what it is? But he gonna at the time. Yeah, here, it's not like a good idea, but okay, we started going up, this ship started actually working and then you see my percentage or what I'm doing. I'm buying nine bowls too, just like you and Nigga go to getting in their feelings, like he getting all
that off me. You know what I'm saying. It's just It's just but it wasn't like but the nigga wasn't feeling like this nigg is getting all that off of me when the nigga who gave the money was up here and then rapper Nigga was down here. You know. You know the thing that the felled me a little bit tho, I'm gonna keep it real. Is like that fifty if you take it from a bank or jade from a nigga and then two years later, Man, I don't like this contract is bad. But what if that
same fifty came from the labels? It would be the same. They complain about the label two. It's just like this, bro, when they don't know how valuable they are in the beginning, you know what I'm saying, Like some artists a whole lot I'm valuable, Like when the they in search situation, they're just like you ain't gotta be broke to sign of the country. You could be a nigger trying to
get just legitimize yourself. You know what I'm saying. From the streets, you'll be trying to legitimize yourself and then and then got them. You come in the game and as your ship actually worked, it's like I didn't know my value at the time because everything sounds good at time. We're gonna bust all this ship now and they get their money. That ship sounds great until the money start actually coming. You get on saying that you got people in your bro that he don't supposed to get that much,
or goddamn man, you know what I'm saying. Your lawyers go to being more in tune with you. Then you get on saying like, damn, it's a bullshit contract, but you should have a lawyer in the beak ending you know what I'm saying, I don't get business. A lot of times it's just about talking about that. It's not even just rapp us. You're not even just wrap ship like all countracts the country agreement. So you agreed to this, so how is it the countract. It's a country because
you ain't. You ain't get nobody else to read, because you can read the country out there and not know what the funk this ship means because different words mean different ship in countries. As it is, win all that ship means something else, right like a people don't know mother thing too, just like if a funked up contract or whatever, like outside of the fifty in the chain, nig Nigga might be paying for your studio time. Nigga might be feeding you. Nigga might be paying your phone bill.
They don't add up. They don't add that part. You got to add that. Yeah, I know what I'm saying, But they don't add that part, you know what I'm saying. Then you got then you got some niggles who account count the paper like the saving as I put two d in you like you said, and then you see I didn't got the two hundred back, like didn't even made their money back. You don't want to make no profit though your mother are taking my money? Yeah exactly, Yeah,
I just I just think that, you know what I'm saying. Definitely, anybody out there, we'll be talking to rappers. You know, I'm saying, we get rappers a lot, get your lawyer. Get a lawyer man. Not even just lawyers in it. Uh uh, Producers, goddamn ball players, everybody. You know what I'm saying. You gotta you gotta have somebody on the contract, so something that you can respect no matter how I go, if it don't go good or if it go good,
you can always respect your percentage. You get what I'm saying. And on the other end too, I feel like, you know what I'm saying, if you see all the investor or some ship I'm typing nigging on funk with me on some business, then I don't cool. You know what I'm saying. I ain't gonna hold you up, but you got to make that ship makes sense, you know what I'm saying. So nigger deserve to get his money back
and some profit. You know what I'm saying. They could have just held his two hundred a hunting or whatever to self and deal with. Then you can win to Vegas and gamble that ship up if he wanted to. You know what I'm saying, Like he put that ship and you I thinks it needs to be a certain level respect for a nigger that reaching this pocket and
spending on you in your career, your dream. It's because it becomes personal too, you know what I'm saying, become personal that you haven't been around the person so long. It's like we got a person relationship. So so it'd be like the business part go out. The woman you go to thinking like britt, ship still buses the end of the day, I'm supposed to make no money, you know what I'm saying. It's my both sides of it.
From being a rapper, you go to being personal with a nigga thinking that you're rapping, thinking like, bro, you should go in all to the country. You see this ship working. You got your money back yet damn what I'm saying, Like I don't been on both sides of the ship, you know what I'm saying. So they're just like when I went and went and did they deal
with definitely what I did. I didn't give a funk with this ship said because I'm not a rapper, Like it's not in my heart to be a rapper, Like when you've can be wrapping the rest of your life next thirty years or whatever. Here, Yeah, that she's gonna get frustrated that damn the folk, Steve, gotta get this much out of my ship. You know what I'm saying, It's just how I go See I I did that
to do other things. It's what I'm saying. It's a different if you already got your mind set on it there, you know you're the type of person that's gonna feel plate. How do you beatings from the beginning. I'm just thinking on both ends, Like if you're the rapper, think about if this nigga wouldn't have took the chance and funk with me, then where would I be? You know what I'm saying on the on the flipp end for a
whole label, a whole brand. If I adn't get this rapper that made these hits, where with my label or my brand? Me? Not anybody is signed with you because Bruss signed with you and made it. You see what I'm saying. So you can really gonna make some money. So you just gotta find out. I just hate to see people who start together fall out about contracts on money or any of that type of ship because it should just be understood. Again, I say, they don't wanta
sunk with me? Cool, Let's just make it, make sense and cool. That's that should be what it is. You know what I'm saying, my opinion, man, typical ship man is Nikas don't never want Nick because you go to feeling like a boss when you when you when the people go to calling your name. You know what I'm saying, Like, you're the guy, You're the guy whoa whoa whoa t screen we want you. So you go to in your mind, in an artist's mind, they go to thinking, ain't nobody
never did that for me? I got it out the money. I did it on my own. You get what I'm saying. What about the guy that not even the nigg who's spending the money. What about the people that's been running around you with these cameras? And you know what I'm saying, I can't nobody to do this on their own. Ain't used the damn a live You said you did everything on your What about the producer who did the beat? What about the nigga who mixing the goddamn song? Everybody,
this is a collective effort, you know what I'm saying. Like, but Nick's want to say, ain't about I did ship for me. They're just the typical rap ship. You get what I'm saying. It just kind of Yeah, it's typical nigga, like you forget about this, should go weigh out the wonder when you get the money. You know what I'm saying. You forget about everybody who's anything. What about your mama who's supporting, praying for you at night that you blow
up whatever, whoever? You know what I'm saying. It's just I guess uma what you call it? Just the um ego ego, you know what I'm saying. They just want to feel like I did this ship myself. I don't. I feel like that that ain't gonna make you a true boss. Just say I did it myself. I think I think it makes you a true boss when it's like we did this and look at everybody around me,
and everybody is fruitful, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, and everybody's up, Like that's that's the biggest like boss signature, Like when all of your people are straight without you because of you. You see what I'm saying, Like, Yeah, like that's that's the that's the epitome of bossness or whatever. But I've seen that ship firsthand. It's like a rapper could be a rapper. Okay, I said this ship. I think I said this in another interview in another podcast episode.
We can all be poor as fun together. Then we started coming up, everybody putting in h effort, like I said, to push you up, and then when they go up, it's like I didn't handle my business. I didn't handle my business to the fact of what my precentage gonna be. So I'm I'm, I'm really I could be sacrificed. You get what I'm saying, because it's always gonna be other bigger, bigger producers, bigger assistant, bigger publicists. It's gonna always be
bigger people out there. This is all alone. If your people want to grow with you, if you want to grow with your people, or you really just trying to do this ship by yourself. What you think about that though, Like if if let's let's say you got let's say you got a partner, let's say your relationships Jade, you and Jade down to the end, so forth, so forth, if somebody comes that they can can enhance that ship, how should the artists or whatever, How should the artists
incorporate them? Like if they say, when we're getting shows, but they say man, we got this tour, then it's like y'all gonna talk and figure it out like a j we got this tour, we got this play. Well you still yeah, and that's nobody it's fun to help us get more money or get further than where we need to be. Come on in, come on, come on in, and we'll figure it out. Why people scared of that though,
scared thinking because they're thinking they can be replaced. You know what I'm saying, They thinking they can be replaced. It's like just sav things and me and j got a twenty fit to fit the partnership or just savings. We gotta management company and we get off the artists and we're managing the arts together. Okay. We know if this big company call us and say, okay, call me. You know what I'm saying. They called me and feel like your own a management company, we can do with Jade,
do times team, you know what I'm saying. But we just won't ten percent, all right? If it's that, If that case were already making money, me and Ja just making money, all right, Jay, we're gonna get the folks got damn some point five percent, and we're gonna split the other. You know what I'm saying, we're gonna split the other. Like if her percenters go down, minds do too.
You get what I'm saying. I'm not gonna kick you out the whill because if we're doing, if we're doing bigger ship, we're still gonna get the same bag or bigger bag. I mean, we're just getting ten thouands dollars show and we shouldn't got that sing that we spent a thousand, two thousands. They take the ship to fit the dollar show. You get what I'm we're spending, then
it's fire right. We're still getting twenty five on the piece if we you get what I'm saying, if we split the twenty like Nigga just say being the nigga coming like what they call them, what kind of come not management? Yeah, we get an agent, right, we get one of the big aid and coming. They want ten percent. I ain't gonna be like with Jade, I'm gonna God damn, I'm gonna just pay you out the pocket like get
you two like he's never done that. I'm just saying like I'm not gonna do that, Like fuck it, Defo wants him say we're gonna bust this other ship down like we've been busting now. It's just straight up yeah, Now that's the proper way to do it. Keep your people close to you so you've got the people you can trust. But if the bigger people come and they can make your ship bigger, don't run from that, man, Don't. Don't. Don't because because it's like it's like if they're gonna help,
the ship can only get bigger. And if it doesn't
get bigger, then okay, you subtract them. But it's just like at the end of the day, like a lot of people, and I've seen this happen before, like a lot of people start getting like insecure about their position and it could possibly be from past traumas or like it could possibly be that they know that their partner might not be all the way one thousand, and they might feel like, Okay, it might be a room for this niggata kick me out the whip, like Black said.
But it's just like at the end of the day, it's like when people when people are coming in, like I said, to make a situation bigger, it can only get bigger. Like, so what is the problem or like what's the issue? And if they don't come in and make it bigger, we're gonna always have some clouds and that we can get rid of your and we get rid of us, like we're gonna we don'na figure out how to work you in and if she don't go out, we already got it rid of the rookie. It's back
about this ship. Yeah, that go back, go back to having your ship tight with your lawyer and your legal ship. You know what I'm saying, Like you get what you negotiate, but also having a glass clear style and understanding what your people before any of the lawyers or legal ship or any of that. Like, you gotta be here with whoever it is that you're doing business with before you bring anybody else into the mix, because if not, that's how you get divided and separated. So so so some
some other ship that they have been circulating on social media. Man, obviously you know the phrase fame is a deadly drug. Let me ask you, and I know the answer already. But at your most famous point, movie screen, whatever it is, right, how do you manage to stay balanced and not get on some man? I don't fame like acting kind of c because some people can't take no fame. They can't
be on TV, they can't be on that stage. You know what I'm saying, Like, they can't take that fame like it's a bad rug and make them start to really trip out. You think the different the different one. I guess I ain't never felt like I was famous. Ship, So you're looking at I don't know what I'm gonna doing in the movie. You got to be somewhere, I think. But get what My ambition is bigger than that little ship. You get what I'm saying. Yeah, he sitting like you
get on saying that. Lets y'all see me on the movie that was like, yeah, that's exactly. It's the same ship. Now y'all not elevated me to well, I'm over here and eat moundains and god damn, I don't know how mad. I ain't never been now, I get won't say I don't know, but right now, man, that ship or whenever, all the little ship. That's why Nigg is probably thinking I'd be tripping because he'd be like, bro, I'm team,
but that should be. But that ship won't ship to me, and I ain't trying to be no assoe would be nothing it wasn't ship because it did not change my life. But he doesn't. But like real ship, he doesn't understand like how big he really is. So that's like another like he doesn't he doesn't you know what I'm saying. He's grateful and he's a pretty but he doesn't give a funk like about the fame. So it's like never
gonna be like a drug for him. But the ship that he's done is like major ship, Like he's made something that's like real ship. We've been popping like that ship ain't ship like it's just more people. Now, you know what I'm saying. It's a difference when you become like I said, Drake Big, you ain't got no chance but to look back and that type when you when you meet him, Yeah, but you don't had that moment when you look back and just cry like man, damn,
I did it. You know what I'm saying. Now, when I get if I when I get to that, that is a damn. I don't change everybody's life around, not just to select few people everybody like I can do for everybody. And now that's a difference. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, Like because a lot of me to
be famous and broke. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, like or content, I've just never been able to get content, no matter what amount of money I had, amount of fame, cloud, I can't get content yet because I can't just wake up and do what the funk I want to do. I want to take a jet degrease. I can't do that without God damn thinking about it. That's what I'm saying. Money gonna you know what I'm saying, I'm gonna ship is gonna add up like this donna come out this
ship hurt. I want to be to got them to take two three big A planes out of the country with my family and ship. You know what I'm saying, I have to just go ship right now. Budget, I got, I gotta lot up, just take my immediate you know what I'm saying. And I'm gonna be I'm gonna be talking about that. You know what I'm saying when that ship becomes putting out the heaving as Cause like I'm calling my cards card, you call heaving funk man. You know what I'm saying, put out them here, mad card.
Then that's that's a difference. Yeah, I just I just I just I just want people to usually brain and think about it, because man, there's gonna be some people that that that watch big fastest's been watching. It's gonna have a lot of success. We're speaking on them when you when you get there, like I should be on one the six and part touchdown in Heartsfield, go straight
to American dealing. Yeah, we're gonna use this. Don't want to say some partner you're supposed to, don't want American dealing to police all flats limit Pepper like it is like it ain't it ain't there yet, Like when you've been around somebody with some real money in a humble you like if you ever meet a nigger like puff or humble. When we become the biggest media outlet, you know what I'm saying, when we stuck out damn doing the things that we're gonna do it this ship, maybe
I feel it. Then yeah that's a baby. But if they still gonna want to go to American dealing, not a fact, not American Denner may have a mag then in my backyard. I'm just saying, like, whatever you want, Like if you wanted to, if you wanted American, then the recipe that's when you don't made it bro to me. Whatever you won't, it can be like a snap of a finger, like and to them, man, you ain't. You ain't got no reason to kid, no big kid. But
because that she can still fall. That's only thing I'm saying, Like it's most stressful to try to stay relevant and keep it here to me, so you don't have time to It's just a content person, a person who don't who ain't used to ship. They get certain ship and then they'll be like, I made it, wow, but I'm out of hell. But when you used that ship, it's just like it ain't ship. Ship, ain't ship. All these people calling my name for with me, it's fake love.
Some of them might be real, but it's fake love because nothing they come out and got them say some bullishit about me and that you believe or whatever or whatever. You'll switch up just like a fing. They're just like in the trap of your finging. You got if you if you're settling whatever you're sailing weed, you said a weed to a customer and they come to you of your ship smoke. Let them find out a noneing they got ship smoking on in yours. They're not gonna come
at to you. They're trying to get hot. They don't give a fun just like these people trying to be entertained. So right now Bank entertaining us, okay. But then the mood come out with Denzel on the same days, Bank moving.
Y'all watching that Denzel mother, you know what I'm saying, So so you you can't get caught up into that ship because there ain't no loyalty and this ship and then what he's saying about the loyalty and being stressed, and the ship is still being able to fause, just like with a street nigga, like they have money and that fell off, but it's still trying to maintain that image of having money, Like it's like going all out to try to still look like you got money. And
it's like that ship. Man, I didn't seen niggas go crazy, like like really literally like lose their minds, still trying to be in the club every night, still trying to get money to these bitches trying to you know, like do the cars and all of that ship. And they have like not even ten percent of the money that they used to have when they were only doing half of the ship. That they're trying to do to keep up with that image. It all goes back to the Internet.
It's security. I'll go back to the Internet and Instagram ship. That's why you see people, even us we're not Offendi post regular ship and he was gonna post ship that makes them look good. You get what I'm saying. You ain't even just be posting. You know what I'm saying. I will, I'll bean sometimes I just post in it. I don't get funk what I got, don't want it. But most people are trying to make sure, hey, snap me up for the ground, get they date when it's up.
So it's like opinions matter too much right now to people. Opinions matter so much that the nigga do anything to get the right opinion. But you gotta people losing already. Part of this year. I remember we was talking like part of this year right here. I remember we're saying that all that ship really ain't ship. It's cool to have, it's cool to funk with it when you started. When you start to see people, we're losing people, you know
what I'm saying. Like I'm talking about people dining with his corona the streets with that people just they you start to checking out Nigga life is priceless. Nothing facts. Man, I'm trying to stay away from all that ship because at the end of the day, it's like when the like with the pandemic that she was a big scare when they started saying they closed down all this major ship and then you can't find grocer. Though it's like Nina, if just man, they stopped bringing water and shipped to
the grocer. Though you get a roll, it's a win for a couple of water. You get what I'm saying. If he come down to that that ship ain't nothing. Yeah, I think, I think and I don't. I think that's at some point. It could be ten fift two years from now. I think that at some point this ship was just the warm up for some ship. We're just gonna have to face you know what I'm saying, But you gonna have to be right meanings in it could
have got bad, especially Atlanta. We really got over like we don't think none of us know nobody who died from coronavirus, right, but if you at it, I was watched seeing in last night for I went to sleep, and you know they got the little map with the different colors on bad states like yellow. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Everybody, ship wide open, yell, all the restaurants red and burn like they going up, ship going down like we outside. Man, y'all keep and ain't nobody wearing
no masks? Nobody. If you live in Atlanta, you feel like Corona is over? Yeah you do, no cap bro like this ship wide open. I've seen Keisha say a couple of cops they're about to fade three or opening, let's opening, see that all because this ship opened it open, ship Nigga throwing big old as concert. We catch, we catching, we catching like New York and CALLI like they called it like we didn't catch it like that? Thank God, you know what I'm saying. But I just feel like, well,
how do I'm saying, how do how did we avoid that? Though? How did we avoid this ship? Georgia? Ain't the play with you think? It's just I think it's because we just naturally a little spread out like in New York, everybody up on top of each other. So I think that that ain't and that ain't it. I think it's goddamn just give a fuck, like real ship neither don't give a fun so much you just be like, man, it don't come to you, to you, I get the other town was scared, like, shoot, so we don't hit
your hearts. And if you don't, we got a special guest coming bad, let's go rock with us. I don't think it's because they just didn't give a fun. I think I just imagine we was all super scared, like standing out mad. I was, That's what I'm saying. We was, But Atlanta wasn't. Atlanta wasn't right. Even the clothes down when they were run down, mandatory curfew, niggles outside. Yeah yeah, yeah, y'all don't want to open the club Airbnb in there.
Yeah yeah, that's that's that's fact. Well, hopefully everything will get back the right. It's still some people funked up by it because you know what I'm saying, the effects they financed. It's some people that got that little money or whatever. Some people just like praying they don't get evicted. It's sucked up for them. So hopefully everything they just get better next year. Forever. I love Atlanta thought different. We see it open, wide open, whatever going on in y'all.
But do y'all. Do y'all see how many fucking weekends have been here. They had the Philly Baltimore weekend. Next week, we got the Shy Lanta weekend. The weekend after that, we got the Miami to Atlanta weekend. The weekend after that, we got the Houston Dallas, Texas weekend. Like everybody, like all the out of town niggers like we talked about in the other episodes are here, and it doesn't look like they're going anywhere anytime that we crowded. Bro we full,
bro We was full before next week. They don't have a fucking Oregon weekend or some ship like banks say you can't get nothing, not call up. You can't get none for them as the sacks that's over coming side. You had a better way. I got them three or some ship up. Some teams tell you like you wear a lemonar head twil eight in the Haad nine and a half or a medium into but you did for it. Ain't no sizes on nothing, no hats. I can't even
find no hat. No it's over. You can't find ship ship get some boxes and some get what yeah not in the polar fact you're not fact to get my ship. Man. The motherfucker looked like they've been loosing. This ship ain't nothing nowhel like a third world country. But salute to the nigga. Man, nigga who ain't never had no money getting money now. Man, keep going bro running up and do something with that ship. Something back to ground zero. Yeah,
that's what that's my field. It's just it just this world just so fun up right now because it's all off opinions now, Like if you ain't getting the right response of what you're doing, something needs to go crazy all that ship. You know what I'm saying, Like I put out a song or something, I'm gonna wrap. I put out the song, get three lights and one uh
promo coming like you want graphics. You know what I'm saying that to graphic come in new to spam, comings in it man, man, nig down there, man, Nick tid, you're gonna see it start graduating. I showed one gun and now I gotta show some more. I got show some sticks. You know how this ship is gonna let my ship. I've been relying on YEA, verify your blue chick. That's like trying to see this ship how to not blue chick ship. Hey, we got a special guest, Emon
Schumper about to pull up a big facts Man. We're gonna chop it up with um. You know your basketball player that's doing some rapper. Now we're gonna discuss it. new website today. Www. Got Big Facts spot dot com is now Yeah, Big Facts were here is DJ screen, Big Bank. What's up? Baby Jay? Hey he is here? Man Iman Shumpert. Man, you know what I'm saying basketball player rapper. Uh, congratulations on your new bornful daughter. Now before we even go any further, man, it's it's come to my attention. I don't have no kids quite just yet, but you delivered the baby. Yeah that's a second time. Now. What was this Erica by ship that was talking about
like Erica walk us through it? So Erica Doulo and she basically is that that that mental ground between us and the mere wife, going to get uh just all the information that we need and knowing that we're gonna we're gonna be more comfortable talking to her. Um. When T first started having a contraction that of the baby shower,
it really was. It might have been because of me driving to tell you the truth, crazy, No, No, it just we got this this turn, it's a blind drive, I'm saying, So you're coming around and being and even though I lived us like every time, I'm like trying to take off some speed, like damn, I misjudged it again and I gotta turns without making that right turn. It's going up a hill and I thought I made it. She was like, watch how you turning? Like I ain't
turning that hard, you know what I mean. But she was like, no, that feels like a contraction there. So after that, it just it got rolling and yeah, somehow I didn't make it to the hospital again. I ended up in the bathroom tub this time. End up in the tub this time with us. So we man, you gotta have thick skin of something to deliver a baby. Bro like that. That's that's doing a lot of blood, a lot of it's a lot going on. It's a lot of blood. But yeah, I mean most men would
not be able to do that period period. Yeah, I don't know nothing about that ship. Man. I'm gonna be thinking something to funk up. That's what I'm saying. You're not gonna when you see your kids head come through, You're gonna be like, ain't going to this up. Ain't motherfucking thing up. She didn't gonna hit the floor. She ain't die like I was scared as fun too. I'm scared them off from sitting there like, oh damn having
the baby. When Junior come out. Oh this time, when Rue was coming, I'm like, we ain't gonna make it to the jet. Damn. I don't put my shorts on. I'm thinking I'm gonna try and get to the hospital. She's like right here. I'm like, alright, cool, yeah, let's do this. They came afterwards. They just came make straight all her vitals were straight, and then they helped her had after birth. After birth. I don't know how to do. Okay, I ended up having again, so that's crazy. It worked out,
but the after birth it's scary. I ain't gonna it looked like alien come out like that's that's a little different because there's no it's no cries, it's no baby. It's just but they haven't it's having another baby because they haven't. They got to let the whole I wasn't know my sister had my nephew. Yeah, that's a little that. That part is a little weird when that come out. But other than that, I have to do that. Already had my daughter at that point, so I was straight.
You know what I'm saying. We gave up bath. Erica flew in in the morning. She was on the phone like coaching us threw it. Erica flew in in the morning and then um, you know, we just checked all vitals and ship made sure she was straight. Yeah, everybody said we did a good job. So we was able to get up out of that. Man, we saw the instagram where I guess you, I don't know what you're trying to say, but she was like, it's been six weeks, been eight weeks. You ready to jump back in it.
I think that's what You're ready to get active. Yeah, they told me I gotta wait six weeks, but like, man, it's just been a well really like my life. I'm ready to do is one thing like y'all going while she was pregnant. I'm like, yeah, that's cool and all. Gee, but it's like, you know, it's like people y'all know the different what I'm saying. You never had to go to the hospital payer No she didn't. My daughter we ended up taking up there. They checked our vitals and everything.
But yeah, she was ship. Ain't she end up being straight to you? Straight? Yeah? But yeah that that that that that waiting eight months man, eight months? Oh she get pregnant. First of all, when they first get pregnant, grs. They ain't not gonna give you the snatch. You're not getting no, and they're gonna be none of that happening because they're going through all types of all the type of all type of changes and ship and they gotta
confirm it theirself. Then they're gonna have a little moment where they're not really fucking wish you because you just put them down for nine months. They're not really rocking with you. And it wasn't public yet, So it's like I don't even have like the fans support to be like, yeah, having a kid like to make it like that. It's like she still got to go through that. Okay, I gotta sit down for nine I got you know what
I'm saying. You know, my wife, she'd be thirsty to try and make something happen, Like she always shooting a video, recording some or starting a business or she always doing something. So it's like when I do that, it's like it's my fault for a little bit. So I just always think like when when people were like very pregnant, like eight nine months and they try to like do it like the ship would like poke the baby or something like. I mean I used to had that nervousness. I had
that nervousness for JUNI. Yeah I did, I did, I did. But this there's like there's a moment when actually pregnant sexist really really good. But then there's a there's the part where it's like everything that was so magical about that ship a month ago, now she just ain't having as much fun. It's just like you know what I'm saying. And I know a lot of women probably be out there just trooping it out for all them mass because they like, if we don't help this nick out, he's
gonna do something crazy. But you can sort of see it and then they'd be like, I didn't even want to like because I'm like, gee, it ain't even comfortable for she can't laying no positions. She got everything laying on her, laying on this, laying on that. She's like the baby only comfortable. She lay on her left side. You can't go too hard. I'm like, yeah, there ain't need no points. So I just trooped it out. Man. But yeah, yeah she was a trooper. But now yeah,
now that the baby here though, man, the baby listen. Man. I tried all I could. Then she got nerd of walking around the waist train. She thirsty with her waist training, her little shorts and ship because she know I'm saying she just dropped. She dropped that album. Now she ready? She like, man, I'm like, you're gonna keep walking around that ship if you want to there, you got to do another. Man had to do another big matter. We
give me a sub better be cool. We big T shirt or something said big T shirt, big sweats coming from my household. Were both of y'all do music, like y'all honest with each other about the music, Like when you tell her like that's it or that ain't it? And what she tells you, yeah, yeah, what to stop me from putting out a couple of things? Um uh.
I also like tell her like that just it's just don't sound like you, you know what I'm saying, Like, you know, with with her, she has her music, then she has the label trying to give her this to sing, and then she has this outside whatever people that this collection of people that are always constantly like, yo, you should sing this, you should sing this, you sing this, And though everything she does try it sounds beautiful because of her voice, you know what I'm saying, Like she
could really make anything her own. But it's like sometimes it's like I'm like, gee, if you put this on your album, it's gonna stick out like a sore thumb that somebody wrote that for you. It's dope, but I don't care. It doesn't blend. But it's like her whole artistry, Like the reason people funk with us, because like, you believe everything she's doing. If Tianna say, do you believe that ship? If she say I love you, you you believe
the ship? Like she can walk anything. That's what She's not scared to push those boundaries, Like yeah, she sometimes to be that her live shows are fucking like insane, like you don't be understanding the line, like you can't tell Tiana Taylor in the House of Blues, like no, no,
y'all can't have firing guns and ship. You ain't got enough wound and whips and chains and leather and process like you're talking about I used to shoot guns and you know, you're saying, like that's how she think about it, like the world is so much bigger than y'all saying that's how that's how her mind works. So like with her coming to me, sometimes she'd be like, if you do that, then they're gonna expect you to do that, and they don't that ain't even have your music, you
know what I'm saying. But it's like I think about it because she's like I did google me and everybody thought that's who I was. Don't do that ship Like She's like, I get it, this is a cool club song, but you don't even like making club songs. Why did you making? You know what I'm saying. I'm like, I don't know. I'm like I was feeling at that time, you know, went out. She's like, that's cool, but don't drop that as your single. Because once you do that, if people eat it up and they love it, gonna
seem like you're doing something different exactly. So it's like it kind of work to my advantage that I ain't put out as much as I wanted to. But I also had, like I had like my agents and all I'm like, when I have my real music with it's like, I'm really you tell the truth. They'd be like, man, you can't do that. You know what I'm saying, Like that ain't the smartest move. They won't like that being clear? So what you do? So how you balance it? Though?
Like how could you choose one over the other. Life. I'm absolutely at the point now where like once I hit thirty, like for real, for realty, like I want, I've made enough money to where it's like if I don't ever play in the league again, I saved it. I did the right things with it. I'm straight, like my wife straight, my kids are straight. So it's like
I ain't tripping off that. So once I had that comfort and then this whole COVID and you know, the badge doing everything that they're doing, it just became like Okay, I could talk about it and I honestly know like a lot of ship. Like I've seen a lot of ship, and I feel like how me and my family get down, Like if I could communicate it, I think a lot of young men can understand that ship and it might
help us, you know what I'm saying. And it's like, if I deliver it in an interview, you know, I'm gonna get one demographic if I deliver it um with the NBA jersey on, there's another demographic I'm gonna get. But I also got to keep it, you know, sort of around these guidelines unless you Lebron. You know what I'm saying, Like Lebron could kind of do whatever he wants.
But what I'm realizing is Lebron can do what he wants because he's earned that spot of honestly, could be the worst human in the world, but I can make y'all so much money putting that thing in the hoop. That's what y'all gonna say. So I'm sort of right now. My life has always been about challenges, and right now I'm sort of just challenging myself to say, talk your ship and say what you're gonna say, because if honestly,
nobody know when it's gonna be their time. If I gotta go to Ma, why would I go without talking my ship of doing what I want to do? Bro, I want to wrap like we need another shot rack the No, No, it's so much better. Just just it's grown up and it ain't no line. It ain't no
sugar coating um. But I've challenged myself to say, my nigger, so you're not good enough If you say a couple of curse words and you wrap about some real ship, are you telling me that you're not good enough that they could hit them words and say, all right, this man better than you. If it's that, then I shouldn't be in the league. That's how at this point, that's how I feel like. I honestly feel like you could sign up a lot of these dudes that they didn't
try to play in these playoffs. I know y'all have been watching the playoffs. You could try and play these minds like they was nice on paper and all seasons they was great. You know what I'm saying, y'all, wasn't worried if I was in the league and in a moment, your little face, favorite little new role player had to play in the playoffs and the top dogs, you know, the top three players on every team, they don't get
all the shots. But when you realize that none of them, dudes could transform and then everybody like was hemn still working out? Everybody hitting my agents working out, or you're a free agent. You're not with the No no, no no, So this uh I was with the Nets. They end up bringing Wilson Chandler back to finish the season. Got you right? No, no, no, no, that's what's my man. I just didn't. I didn't. I just I don't know. It's because you know you. I'm gonna be honest. As
a basketball player, I think you're nice. If you weren't appreciated. As a rapper, I think you're good at rapping. You know what I'm saying. I can tell you what he said, good at rapping. I've heard parts of it. There's three that's that's three rappers. I respect. We get to that later that go from basketball. There's only three year one of them, but they will forever persecute you for and this happens there. They're the side of the glass shot and all this other ship. You see it on social media.
So I think that that kind of clouds. The fact that you're a champion like one thing. You can say that and not other niggers can't say this. Nigger, I gotta ring bro this. I don't feed any of these people, man, honestly, like I think it's funny at this point, like when you break it down. Brian kicked it out. He kicked it out. I'm really looking at Katie coming out the lane, Katie six and eleven with long ass on if I can clear him. I'm like, I get a dunk. So
I stared at the man too long. But I also know if I take more than two drips. Broun don't get his assist. I was playing the game, you know, got in between and shot the thing a little too far to the last. The best of them, trust me. I don't watch Paul George do it. I don't watch Steph Curry and Clay Thompson shoot it so many times off the side of the glass it don't even make sense. Difference is that game. I only probably shot three threes, so you can remember every time I shot it, you
know what I'm saying. James Harden shoot at least to three air balls a game mandatory. He got to he got killed. He shoot one that's gonna hit all glass. It ain't gonna touch nothing, but he gonna shoot thirty times. Are you gonna remember the glass shot? Are you gonna remember when he crossed? Dude backed up, shot at at one and banged it in the crowd. So why do you think they approach you different? Because they never gave me the twy I told my cl I didn't get
my twenty shots a game. Trust me, I get on these people ass jo. I'm not. I'm not like that. I'm and I'm also not. The difference in me and what it bothers a lot of people, and I know it bothers a lot of people in the league. They want me to my pride and who I am. They wanted to come from thirty points. I don't walk in place feeling like, Oh I had thirty so you're gonna look at me. I don't feel like that. I'm low key. I'm conceited, bro. I already like myself whether I had
the jersey or not. I'm like shorty. I don't know how y'all get down in this league, bro, But if the NBA never gave me no bread, I'll still be in these places with bread. What make y'all think I wasn't gonna have bread if they didn't get it to me. I'm gonna go get it, shorty, Like we was never like that. I'm like, the only reason I didn't have
a job growing up, you know, a nice job. You know, the only reason I didn't have one is because I'm like, they're gonna pay me for this league ship, you know what I'm saying. But I'm like, if it, if it gets to the point where I feel like, like even the ship that I respected Kyrie and um Katie and a lot of other guys that decided with all is going on in the world, I don't want to distract what's going on. I can't play right now. You know what I'm saying. I respected them because it's like that's
a man move. Man. The league might frown upon that. They might pull some bullshit with you now, you know what I'm saying. It's all about control out here. We're knowing the big the larger corporation. We know how they overseen it. You know what I'm saying. We knowing you got your one or two guys that showed they're the face of it. But we know it's somebody behind there, you know, pupping in everything, and it's like they may frown upon you, it may be political. Are you willing
to take that l to stand as a man? You know what I'm saying, Like, I'm completely with that. It didn't make no sense for me to take a job and go play in the bubble for a Honey Bands. I wasn't on the contract, so with the way they scaled it onto, how many weeks we would be there, It's like a Honey Bands after Texas g It's like, I'm not I can go get that. No not I no disrespect to nobody, not saying that I don't let
love again. You're not gonna find a lot of people that's gonna play a lot more basketball or watch more basketball than me. But I know plenty of dudes in the league right now that you think, oh, he killed Bro. He don't even work out. He don't even go to the gym and do nothing. He's he party and do a bunch of ship all day and then put a face on for y'all and shut up and keep his head down and y'all cool with it' That's not who I am. Bro. I'm like, yeah, you don't. He got
a reality show. She wanted to a reality show. Yeah, I'm gonna do it. Y'all told me how to do it. I don't care, bro, it's my wife, my nigga, she want to do a reality a reality show. Bro, y'all don't want me now because I'm making money that y'all ain't getting a piece of. You know what I'm saying. If I pay my tax on it with y'all, is that cool? Like gee, I'm not gonna. I don't care what y'all was saying. Man, y'all not finn to tell me, y'all what I gotta do. I'm a grown ass man,
So I gotta father son some bullshit? Your son in the NBA, that witness if you can tell us that the people might not know, go on behind closed over there. Um,
I don't. I wouldn't say it's bullshit. I would say, first of all, every player in the NBA, right, if you give them a team and give them shots again, and all us cauld average if you run plays for I can't even think of somebody that everybody wouldn't think it's like so good, like somebody like this, Like I hear people talk about Patrick Beverley all the time, another
dude from the crib. If you put Patrick Beverley on that team by himself and say Patrick, you gotta carry the team and score twenty a game, he's gonna score twenty games and then he's gonna transform. I love him as a as a defensive player, but I just feel like I'm gonna tell you something about people. Tell you something about people in high school. Then the average like thirty points still playing defense too. He would get his twenties.
And I think about James, right, James get his twenty that he scores regularly, and then he gets fifteen free throws. That's thirty five mm hmm. Pete dev would get his twenty and then he getting another twenty off steals. I got you what I'm saying with me. If you ever catch my high scoring games, I'm probably gonna have four free throws, maybe five, and then it'll be like, oh yeah, So I had to shoot it nasty and everything, but I didn't get two or three play calls where I
get to go to the basket, get foul. I didn't flop it out, go to the free throw line and make sure my out rhythm is if I go shoot ten free throws, g you think I'm gonna miss a wide open corner three? Man? If what I and my y'all don't think what I'm saying, That's how I'll be thinking about That's how I'll be thinking about it with
fans though. But then you'll pull up and do a program and can't nobody deal with no NBA players, so you just go go crazy and then people don't well, you don't be doing that in the game, Like, bro, did you watch this ship or you don't watch it? It's a structure to like. And I'm like, if if me James all still because this last team I played on it, I'm tweaking. I played with Brooklyn, So if me Kyrie, Katie uh Spencer, then witty. If we're all out here trying to get thirty, bro, we fenna look bad.
We feel we might all get it, but we feel a lot. I think that's what just happened with the Clippers for real. For real though, And then you got to realize, if I'm going to get my twenty five right, if I feel like I'm entitled to my everybody feel like they're entitled to I don't know how that man gonna act. Yeah, so ship going on, like like in the locker room with somebody knows you're like, bro, you
know what need looks from a contract coming up. Yes, you have people that be like, gee, man, I'm having the I'm slumping. I need you to fix that. Is it almost like a quota when the police have to write a certain amount of tickets. Yes, there's players that real life know how much they average everything. But it's part of they like they got and owners coming up to them like show improve. I gave your contract, showing improve. I'm not saying it's a wrong pressure, but I'm saying
this is part of the game. This is the game that the fans just act like don't exist. I'm like in New York, trust me. I was killing bro. I was number one on the rookie chalks. I had to sit down and everybody was like, it's not your turn, it's not your team. We gotta call mental Anthony making a honey million. We gotta Mary Stardom making a honey million. You're gonna have to be cool. We don't care how are you how, we don't care where you from? All this?
You want to play getting people the ball man and people want to slump man getting people to ball, and then I gotta go out here and it's time and I'm playing three man. Bro I came at that point guard. I'm playing small forward because I can guard somebody because they have people that can score already, so they don't need me to score. So what else can you do for me? I could go on one through cool, get
him to guard this man. Guard this man, don't let him sco as long as they ain't got their average, you're good. Cool. That's my role on the team. Do I want to do that? No? Sometimes mis takes some has shots and I forget that I'm supposed to be playing that role, and I'll tweak with somebody. You know what I'm saying. That's just who I am. I'm the old people accountable. When they called a play, that's the
player you got wrong. You gotta get you gotta get a coach his chance, man, that's his coach is only power man. I want this play ran. It's not his fault whatever's going on. He also is in a in a game as well. But coach say boom um, we're gonna run this action. I want to flex action as soon as the flex action happened, the guy come off. I want you to throw right there, to uh throw it in the X three right there on the post. I want to post cut and then I want everybody
to clip. I could post cut lazy and not not really do the post cut so that I know my man will end up trying to double him, and then I could pop back and get a quick three. I could do that. I know. Is that do it to me? Where it's like, well, I'm supposed to dry this my left, but you're gonna stand your grass on the wing instead of the corner so that I have to throw you this ball. It's terrible, But is he mind gonna in the middle of the game, you're like, hey, man moves
so I could drug. I'm not doing that, man. I'd rather just win, Joe. If you make the shot, cool. If you don't make the shot, then when we get in the locker, I'm gonna tell you about it. What I'm saying. I've had plenty of superstars. They don't want to play with me no more because it's it's like it's either we finna yell at each other, we're gonna box, or you're gonna do what you're supposed to do, man, But I'm not gonna go hard and always you up. It's not I wouldn't even put it on one superstar
played with plenty of superstars. The reason this almost say because this is my big homie, and homie don't got no like here a real nigga, because Mellow is a real nigga. I'm gonna tell y'all, I've gotten into it with Mellow many times because in my mind, Mellow shot a bad shot and there was one point where we had a switch. We played on Lando. There was a switch and I remember blacking on Mellow like just screaming to the top of my love my rookie, I'm screaming
like you did as a rookie. You gotta think lockout hit. I went back on Chicago a little different, That's what I'm saying. I'd have been playing ones and shipped with Tony Allen. You know what I'm saying, Well, we'll buying him there these are these you know what I'm saying. This is my homies. This is we're playing out West, y'all.
I don't know if y'all know shran Collins, Kansas like we I'm playing with some guys that it's like, g we don't even let a little call go before we started arguing about some ship, like everybody got to be held accountable. I'm yelling at Mellow, like, ge, that's a switch. You're supposed to do this, and you just chield. You acted like it's just whatever and not this this this white boy find us up, man, I don't like it. I don't like it. Bro. Myns is out here trying
to tell me he good. He ain't good. He ain't good at me, so I don't care. So I'm mad. I'm going in and mellows sort of like he was mad that I was coming at him, but he was more mad than I. I didn't realize that. I didn't realize at that moment how under the microscope we was. To me, it was just me and Mellow. I played Mellow every day, one on one. Let us need to death. You know, I'll slacked shut out somebody for Mellow. At that moment, I'm just vetting like you can't do that,
that's bullshit. And I'm like, I'm like, man, that's why they're saying brown better than you get. That's some bullshit. Man. Just the ship I'm talking about, bro, that's bullshit. They ain't gonna tell you they scared of you, but that's bullshit. I'm screaming at the man Joe and he on the bench looking at that and be like this crazy looking at me, like you're crazy, bro. And afterwards when we got to the locker room, he had that man and man with me where he liked, you do that again.
We're boxing like I'm I can't even save the type ship like, but mellows not the person that's gonna be like all iman wrong, sit him down right, and then I'm gonna shoot fifty shots. Contract your contract, Joe, I have a deal done. And they'd be like, hey, man, don't let that. But there's there's guys that that that will do ship that it's like like pussy ship. It's
just ship man whishing to the coaching ship. Yeah, but you'll have guys that like do ship like this one thing I hate right, say, we run some ship, you shoot a shot, you miss it, We all get back and ship. You argue with the rest for a little bit, but you get back. Then we come down again. You do some bullshit, they steal it from you, and I spread all the way back to get a stop, like I do that so much where it's like it'd be a broken play. I should be so out the picture.
I'll run it down, strip somebody and go off. They leg we go the other way, save us possession. I feel like by me doing that when it comes around Joe, either one lookout for me, but too if I get if I end up making an aggressive play to the basket or something and somebody steal it from me, or the fans react bogus to a shot that I end up I passed it to somebody. They shot a shot in the fan b oh, because they feel like this person should have shot it, and your ass don't get back.
I got an issue, bro. I don't care how much you make. I just don't like you. They saying, all right, I had Joe back when you went now and lost, and when I lose the bat, it's like you feeling let it be a busted everything, and everybody in the crowd though that you disapproved that play. So to me, it just takes the energy. I'm an energy basketball player. I can't play. It's something is that could play with no energy. Bro. I don't know how they do it,
but they can get it done. They could play with out no moral, Like they could come out there and say all I wanted thirty points, They're gonna get their thirty and literally will not care about the rest of the game. They'll play it and they'll finish it out. But now that they have their thirty, we could win, we could lose. It don't matter. We're going out. My brother name in town, right. That's how it beat though,
and I've seen that. So when I see that and then by me rapping, somebody hit me with the oh he not focused, I'd be like the nerve dog. So I got into my wife the other knife for doing two of days bro. In people's mind right now, they're like, also, you're just chilling. Oh I'm doing two of days Bro. I just came back from a light surgery. You know what I'm saying. I'm not going to post that. I don't want boot hooo's nobody really gives the fast surgery. No,
I don't care. But it's like, oh, you're not in the leacause you had a surgery. Like, people be like, why are you posting all this music? You posting lifestyle ship, you don't post basketball. It looked like you're not playing, I say, Bro, I didn't post it for twenty one years. Bro, for twenty one years I played ball. There was no camera phones, I wasn't. Probably niggas be going to the fucking propping their phone up, backing up, dribbling and they're
gonna do a drill. Bro. You got me chopped up. Bro, I'm not doing that. I'm not doing that. Bro. To prove to y'all, I hope if we respect and we respect that, come on, pull up, pull your ass up to the gym. If you could get in there, because the gym's were being don't be regular. So if you could get your bid and get your ass in that gym, I will bust your ass for free. I swept for
Lord Bronna. Take this is on tape, Joe. Any anybody that really think NBA mind where that we don't get out like this, or you feel like Eman sweet Eman can't, wop Eman can't, whatever you feel like, Joe, bring your favorite pair of shoes up there and I'm gonna play you for him. Bro, I'll show you how I take somebody. So Bro, no, we get on the rap ship. There's big facts, so you gotta speak. I got you all right, No camp like, who's the nigga that toasted you one
on one? And who's the nigga that you toasted one on one? Keep it real, because I just I had shut you down, like I gotta get my game right one on one and then the nigga that probably took you lightly that you gave it to him, and it was probably like I got to get right. I underestimated this nigger. I can't think of somebody that I I don't play so many ones. I don't even even street
ball I can say. I can say. I can say somebody that, uh, one on one, somebody that just I've had a lot of problems with Michael Beasley now, but he's another one people they you know, they take the little off the court ship. They have a little hiccups, and we're gonna act like he not Michael Beasley. That's the bullshit I'll be talking about with the world. So I don't like that ship, do I get it? He might have did a lot of but that man of sixteen animal salute Michael Beasley on one on one on
one on one privilege. But be's now that I'm healthy though, I'm coming back to Miami to deal with all that ship. That's what I'm saying. It was cool and I love you deaf, but I'll be in Miami soon. I just had a new born. I'll be there soon and I'll be in shape. So who who's the nigg of that? It could be one on one, It could be a pick up, it could be whatever that you might have saw. It could have been college before you get to leave. Whatever, And now they came up to you, like, man, you
I got respect for you. You know what I'm saying, Like you shot him up. They had to see you. I don't know if it's I've had a couple of people that I've just I've given problems to. I say the only uh, I wouldn't say a player, I would say a team. Okay, sees coaches. I always seem to have a good game. I guess. Okay, see, I don't know. And this is okay, see what but it's like this it's me, Yeah, this is wrestling Katie Okay, see yeah, okay, this was Russell Russell Katie and Russell, Uh, Paul George,
especially Russell Paul George when I was in Sacramento. But it was it was weird because it was, um, it was a respect that it was damn near like we didn't know you could do that, so it was damn near disrespect at the same time. That's why I wanted to bring it up, because it's like to them, they was giving me a head and I'm like wow, and I was looking like this ain't a wild thing. Y'all just can't play defense. Not for real though, but it was like it was like the fact that y'all acting
like something different happened. I'm playing with Sacramento. Now there's no superstars yet they wasn't called like them young boys, didn't feel like they were superstars. Now Buddy Hill and Deer and Fox feel like rock stars. They better they need to be feeling like that because can't nobody deal with them. But when I first got there, they only realized they didn't even realize who they was yet, Like you know what I'm saying, but I knew in my heart.
I'm like, gee, y'all ain't seen me hoops, so y'all often't have to deal with me. I got all y'all scouting for us. I know y'all moves for over the back. I watch your YouTube highlights all the time, ain't none of y'all often hit me with a crossover I ain't seen, but I'm like everything that I got in my chamber, y'all have no clue because I've been playing three and D standing in the corner. You don't even remember how I moved fast? You know what I'm saying with the ball,
at least what I'm saying. So I end up having big games against them, scoring games, and afterwards people was talking to me about like my offense, and I was just like, it's not a big deal. Bro, Like I kind of hate when people do that because it's damn didn't make me feel like y'all think I can't make a right hand lay up on my own because y'all used to see it. Lebron have forty apiece, Like, I'm like,
they're a very special case of basketball. Bro. Like to play on the team with Kyrie Irving at point guard, Lebron James at point forward, Kevin Love and powerful with JR. Smith shooting at the two guard, It's like, dog, what basketball did y'all think I was gonna get the shoot? I'm gonna shoot the leftover ones. Bro. I was shooting. I was going over three and niggas don't even know like you checked the box store box score. Emon can't shoot.
If you watch the game. Iman shot to seventy five ft us at the end of the quarter and he shot one ticking time bomb. When Lebron lost it had nothing, threw it out. I caught it and just tossed it up and the shot clock went off. That made real shots, Bro, I didn't want to shoot that ship. Now Ron failed, he damned not gonna get a turnover. I'm not gonna let that man have a turnover. A misshot is better than the turnover any day, as long as it touched the rim. Tristan times to get a rebound and put
that back in so you feel like they sacrificed. I'm supposed to sack. That's my job, know what I'm saying. I'm not mad at it. There was times I was frustrated with it because I had no the outside world creep in when mams really think I'm ass like like, oh, you ain't killing and in my mind I'm like, shorty, I will Bro stop playing what I'm saying, like, I don't have most I told bron Bro tell Tlu to put me back at point guard. Please, shorty, I'll sweat o Lord, I'll get you all this ball, bro, But
I'm not gonna keep playing too Gods. People think I can't hoop like you're gonna bring the ball up you finishoo twenties and they got They're like, shump, calm down, telling you just bron used to have to hit. Hey, man, I'm telling you just something. I got you. We're gonna get this ring gee. I need you like I need
you just But he knew. I think Brian coll short of new like ge this man, he dead serious, like he don't care, like I don't really care for the whole what y'all think of me ship Like I don't care, like I'll tell you the damn the truth dead to your face. And it's it's hurt me in ways know what I'm saying. Sometimes I wish like no, I should have shut up, probably could have got like, you know, a couple of ten twenty ms more. But it's like, honestly,
bro ten twenty ms. It makes you comfortable, but what else side really for? I was broke? So look look look this this, this, this is this is a big topic. Man. The reality, the reality is a lot of people don't take basketball players seriously when they wrapped. They can't wrap. They can't wrap. They can't wrap. Bro, I've heard the ballplayers rap. Bro. Everybody everybody Okay, I won't say everybody. Everybody in the NBA can't wrap. It's a few that can.
Oh yeah, yeah, you got a couple that rap and bros don't even know the other couple that could wrap. It's a couple of people that wrap. You want to be a rap first? Amazing start rap um. I couldn't draw my mama. My mom is an art instructor, but she also an artist, and my older brother Ari, who I like, we're the middle kids, so we're like always
in constant competition. But he could draw, and people was like going crazy for a lot, I saw art do what rap did two people first, Like I got to see people look at a painting and be like like my mom, and then we started tweaking like oh, and they'll talk about how much it's worth and high soul for this much and ship. So I was like I wanted to paint because I was like, what if I
could sell a million dollar painting? Like I thought that would be so cool and I couldn't drop for ship, bro like my drawings up, and I started to like make up for it. I started drawing, and then I would write out the ship that people were supposed like, you know how you have a painting and people are supposed to make their own interpretation of it and say it brought me to this it it reminds me of
this time of my life whatever. And because I couldn't draw that good to like captured the emotions, I wrote out little captions and ship. I was instagramming my own ship, you know what I'm saying, Like putting a little captured right there so you knew what you was looking at and how what to look for. And then it became okay, that ain't really doing ships. Oh now I give you a picture. And then I wrote a little book with mine. You know I'm saying, I shi a little comic book.
Damn there, like not a lot of pictures, but a lot of story. Like my mama still got a bunch of ship that she said me where it's like right out like me playing basketball and be like I'm gonna go to the NBA and I'm gonna buy you a new house and I'm gonna buy you a car, and I'm about dad his old school, like you know what I'm saying. But it's like I was trying to line
it up. And then I guess when I didn't sell one of my little projects or nothing, I started actually my father like why I couldn't draw, And he explained to me he couldn't draw. He was I was always better with words. He was like, just just learn words and use words like paying pictures words and know what I'm saying, Like I really could tell. He probably was like, look, they could get up out of it. So I got it to do. But it was gold to me because
I was like, all right. So I started writing stories, like elaborate stories, and then ship that didn't happen. I would just make it up, but I would tell the story. And I remember being and they're like my aunts and ship would come over and everybody be eating and ship, and by the time they drunk, I'll just started telling the story. And the more hype they get, the most ship I'll make up, like yeah, fire shot out my elbows.
They oh, they're hyping the ships and tweaking up. And then and then a dude broke in the door and I kicked him boo. They're like, oh, but I I just loved the energy, the back and forth. I'm like, the more they do that, the better than my idea sponsors your creativity. And then they didn't know what they was doing, but they was creating an animal because I'm like, I love that moment. I love that moment of you
sit here, I wrap when I'm gonna wrap. And then you got the moment to tell me that ship was trash or that ship was fire. And even if you say that ship was firing, it was trash. I could see it in your eye that it was trash. I'm evaluating that for myself. What I'm saying, that's for me. But I enjoyed that moment. I enjoyed a moment of walking down the street and a woman walked by and I gotta spit my leg to m and I enjoyed that moment of her saying, Okay, what's up? Because are
you just dial the right quick? You shouldn't say no off the GP like you we wasn't even to turn around, but now you may heard something in my voice that you like, he might be sort of cute whatever. Then you turn around, you like, okay, I'm working with this. I enjoyed that moment. Most niggers hate that moment. Go shoot your shot in front of your homies and she turned you down. You don't get the number niggas laugh at you. I'll get laughed at. That's cool. Arein't tripping
like that? That that moment, that fight a flight feeling right there, like that's my favorite feeling in the world. Like basketball, Give me that music, give me that anything where you gotta bar yourself and put yourself out there and then somebody can say yes or no, Like I love that moment. Three niggas like the Goat because he got plex. No, that's Goat because he got plex shot. But that's what I'm saying. That was a movie and joking. Spit spit up bar, spit up shot bar exactly. That's
what I'm saying. Who else he's saying, Okay, so the Goat like currently niggas that I can listen to their music. They're basketball players and they're not they're good. Not because you're here with you you make some good music. Appreciate I'm saying, last NiFe, I told you like you got solid ship. These other people out all right, not just because he's my partner. But Steve Jackson go hard. He's one of the people that I was talking about with the music ship, right, Stack don't make music for the
NBA period. Yeah he makes Yeah, oh no, I didn't mixtape. You gotta go listen. He talking about what's going on the part after like he for real. Yeah. But that's why I like, you could tell Stack been rapping. This ain't no And I thought of that. He's a real street nigga, Like he's not waking up and saying, oh, let me wrap today. I got enough money to get a studio, so I'm gonna start rapping. No, him and
his gas was rapping. You could tell they've been in the They've been they got to twelves in the trunk. They've been freestyling. You know, they was they was Cloud nine and they was freestyling. Yeah, yeah, I know that life. You know what I'm saying, Like when people mention the Stack, I'm not okay, y'all actually gave it a chance because I know they're not gonna put the Stack on the radio right type. They're not gonna do it, bro because
because that's the conflict the interest of the brands. It sucks because I've actually heard Stack put out the song, and I feel terrible cause I'm so wrapped up in my album and my mixtape. I can't quote him off the top of my head, but he said something in a hook that was so much, it was so real, nigga ship. I'm like, Gee, this is what should be on the radio, but we're never gonna hear it. Nobody's gonna hear this. And it bothers me because I'm like,
I've heard the most food ship on the radio. Bro, I've heard some of the worst music ever on radio. I've heard people say certain artists I heard some ship the other day. No bullshit though, And I don't want to. I don't want to bring names into it because it's I'm gonna feel like I hate her because niggas is winning.
Somebody told me a certain young man in the industry was gonna be it was the greatest artists that we've had, and it blew my mind because I asked, of all times, you gotta you gotta think, you gotta think that, you don't gotta think. No, No, that's what I'm saying. What I've been telling my little cousins. You gotta depend on who you're asking, and I'm not. I'm an avid fan of Travis Scott, but they will tell you he's the greatest of all time. That's my little cousin. No, no, no, no,
Travis Scott. It's hard. What is he a rapper? He's a music he's an artist. I'm asking. I'm asking because if you put people in a certain category, I'm talking about rap. We're talking about rap right now. Rap. I'm a rapper. I'm not here to evaluate a musician. I'm not here to evaluate an artist or a singer. That's not my lane. You know what I'm saying. I can't perform in the Marinas. But if you're supposed to be a rapper and nigga said you're the greatest rapper fan,
why don't nobody be able to quote these niggas? This girl told me, she was like, yo, he the best? Who make better music? Who got more number one? Who? I said, what number one rap song he got? And then you gotta go look, and then you realize, all ship, oh no, this happened, Oh Drake saying the hook on this one, and all this happened, and and you'd be like, okay, cool, he the greatest, spit a verse from him that you're
proud of, and niggas can't spit the verse. I'm like, Bro, if you asked me to spit biggie instantly, I'm going right to suicidal thoughts immediately immediately, Bro, like, I can't. If you tell me to spit some j I'm gonna go to the Grammy Family freestyle. It's already queued up in my mind filmily in and out. I've never broken a verse down for so long in my life. My nigga, that guess what that man said? Something like these kids they saying the grades of all daytime. They can they
actually can. We couldn't. I had to go physically buy the CDs. Bro, I missed out choose to So you can't talk to me about the greatest. You could say that's your favorite guy. I'm not fair to argue that, Bro, because honestly, there's niggas that gonna listen to this song by this man and it's they it's the hottest song on the radio, and that's cool. But what thirty year old Nikka finnas sing some of this ship, Bro, Some of the ship they say, and it's like, Bro, I
don't get down like that. I can't sing it. It's important. We're I will be honest with you. Whatever you do, rap, whatever you do. You could be in the streets, wrap athlete or whatever. You gotta protect your legacy. I argue with people all day a while why I think Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time and younger people were like, fuck you, like it's Kobe is Lebron. But
when that documentary came out, they get it. Sonight, these versus battles, you know what I'm saying, watching that master P like niggas like master P the reason we get money in the South. Niggas didn't know. You gotta protect your lacy and you you're you're responsible for that. You're responsible for letting people know what you do. You see what I'm saying, Like we're not we can assist because
you're responsible for your legacy. So I unders say that it's a it's a it's a vicious cycle of bullshit going around with this whole Like they stamp nigga's so easy and they'd be crazy to me because I'll be like, bro, would you let your son listen to that nigga? Bro? I don't want my son listening. I don't know what
I'm saying. I ain't got no sign, but if I had one, I would be monitoring the niggas he listened to, bro, because you're gonna become that like when you listen to hip hop as a kid that thirteen fourteen fifteen, like you really start shaping your swag A little bit off of what I'm saying, Like if you tell me your favorite growing up, if niggas like, Yo, what's your favorite song? Frs be like nas rewind, I know who you are. I know who you are. I know who you are. Bro.
You know what I'm saying, like what, yeah, what's your favorite soul man jay Z man jay Z song? Cry Like damn okay, I know who you are. Bro. What I'm saying I could, I could see where you act saw it on the spectrum. These days, you may get a niggle, be like yo six nine gummos the codesh that I've heard, and I'd be nervous because I'm like, g one one. I don't know if you just like that. Because I knew when he first put the stuff out, I'm like, I know that man ain't running around doing that.
I know whoever's behind him is doing it. I didn't know he would take it as far. But when you're talking about people stamping people. If we've been to talk numbers and hits and all this ship, that man in the conversation, I know it bothers you. It's hard to bother me. But he gotta last it do gotta last. But you can't take it away, same way you can't take away. I'm a champion. It could bother you. And yeah, it gotta last. It do in gold. We won in gold.
It's going nowhere for these people got number ones and he got plaques all in his crib. Whether we like it or not, he said, whether we like it or not. He got girls that come in there and they see plaques. But he said, you can buy that ship. He said it, yeah, NBA, you could buy a ring Bro watch. We talked that space space ship. Though that ain't me like flexing on nobody. Uh A GM could go out here and have enough
relationships and enough on his salary. Captor saying, I'm gonna put together three people that y'all thought wouldn't take a pay cut to play together. They take a pay cut. And then how y'all going to beat us? How y'all going to deal with us? You know what I'm saying? I had. I had this ship on a lot what you're talking about, Like when Brian created that super teams would never happen a million years. Think d Wade and Lebron Chris Bosh are gonna put their egos down and
make the numbers make sense. When all of them supposed to be getting a contract that say you can't play with him, they all took a pay cut and said, we want to win and we want to play together. You know what I'm saying. It bothered a lot of the league. Me too. I told Brian and Ship to his face, I didn't like the move, you know what I'm saying. I felt like it made a bunch of niggas stopped wanting to be real niggs and they just
all start wanting to hop on each other teams. I ain't never seen no ship like that in my life unless I grew up with you, bro, I don't need to play with you, shorty. Some about even through that that I'm going through does I don't know what you got going on, and now I gotta play with you. That's not me. You know what I'm saying, that's just not me, and I ain't saying everybody gotta be me. It maybe people that feel like, yeah, I want to play, that's cool. I didn't like the move. I told him this,
They did that move, and now that's the new league. Bro. Three superstars, everybody else in him. Everybody else they know, mid level contracts, mid level exception. You got this guy making forty and this guy, hell no, sure you're gonna make ninety. Sure are you gonna make uh to fifty over the six seven years? Buddy asks over here here, bid, we can't teach seven feet, so give him eighty. Everybody else the cap, bro, the cap you get, you can get fives, you second years of option. You know what
I'm saying. The cap that just the caps. I know you you kids, no cap stage, it's a cap over it's a cap over here. Yeah, that man get that bad. But you have to go to that man for that extra couple of millions what I'm saying. But it's like in my mind, you know, that's cool. You know what I'm saying. And people are winning like that, that's fine. Oh year you're winning like that. When you get to the championship. You ain't gonna win like that. You just ain't.
I've been there. You ain't gonna win there because you're gonna have to deal with that man that makes the minimum. He's gonna have to do some ship that the maximum player don't gotta do. What sense do that make? How you get a hunted meal and I gotta do? Why I gotta do media? You're getting a hunted Why? Why do I gotta go to community service? They don't want to see me like I didn't know noning. Like, don't get me wrong, like I love doing a lot of ship.
The NBA is one of the best at saying, whether y'all want to do this or not, you're about to change a million kids lives by showing on your face when you walk into this gym. You're about to change their life. So you're going you know what I'm saying, it's a mandatory appearance. Cool, we're gonna go to that. But as a rookie, I had that in my mind, like Mellow get paid all the money with up. They want to see Bellow. They want to see that headband and the odd sleeves. Bellow, you are your old sty
They feel to run around chase you shutty. When they started chasing me, I coup forty, but right now they don't even know if I could hoop yet. We ain't played enough games. But when you get to the playoffs and you had the moments of okay, you get your thirty and we lose. So this game, well, I cannot get my thirties. See if we win, because that man feel to come and say I need my my forty. Now the ego start, and it's rightfully so, because if you're not a grown man, you don't belong in this league.
Like people were talking about the Celtics that they're having a meltdown. They should have had a meltdown. They should have them young boys is talented like and they weren't sure themselves. Sound of stretch. Everybody saw it. They were not sure themselves. That's bullshit. Marcus Smart showed displeasure to that. People are going to sit here and try and act like Michael Smart is crazy for what because he cared
that much that he'll swing on you. Yeah, passionate. We not all grow man, Because you were watched every player in the league get foul to dues and they know everybody's gonna grab him, but you still go turning get ready to go over there and swing on somebody. Every one of us has done it. Bro, I didn't got hit and acted like I'm gonna charge to a nigger knowing I might get unless he right there, somebody's gonna end up grabbing me. You know what I'm saying. There's
gonna be a power forward that's gonna grab me. What what what? What what happened with you? And? Uh? You s what's the name you stand guy? Uh smoke? Like so it happened? What happened? Oh no, it was really so what happened? Um during the game, the man had did a couple of little, you know, a little shots. It wasn't done honestly, And I'm not mad at the man of today Nurkics. I'm not mad at him today. I pulled up. I'm always gonna pull up. I'm always gonna pull up like I'm not a I'm not that.
That's what I'm telling about. There's boundaries of the league that like that was one of the moves that It's like, I wish I didn't do it because I know that affects how people look at me. But I'm also not going to have your big gass throw no more bowls at me, because in the heat of the moment, the wrong bowl, they really not gonna deal with me because I'm gonna swing on you, shorty, and I don't know if you it might it's technically a cheap shot if I swing on you in the NBA game, because you're
not thinking I'm gonna swing on you. That's the last thing you're thinking. It's a bunch of cameras, you know what I'm saying, Like it's so much going on, why would you wouldn't even be ready to defend yourself. We're playing basketball. Why am I swinging? You know what I'm saying. But at the same time, certain ship bothers me so as a man, I told him, I said, Gee, I told him on the court, I'm like, don't do that ship no more. Bro, Like you know what I'm saying,
Like my daughter's watching the game. I'm saying, my people just watching the game. Bro, I don't want to even be asked about this. Don't do that ship no more. Bro. I don't let nobody do that to me. I'm a grown ass man. Don't do that no more. He something happened with him. He like telling the refs. I'm like, gee, I'm not gonna tell the ref like youman, talk to me, talk to you about what. But I'm a grown ass man, bro, and that man hit me. You ain't do nothing. You
gotta watch ten other things. Bro, I'm not gonna have you watch what nurks do. Every time I come off a screen, I look like, Bro, no, Nerkus stop, Joe Nerk quit playing. Joe stop, please stop? Came off another one man. The man moved a little bit, shoulder, lean a little bit. You know what I'm saying, Clip my mouth. I have slipped my mouth, you know. And he taste blood. It's just shorty. So I lose my ship a little bit. I lose it a little bit. I'll run down on him.
It's time now, like don't trip. I told him, don't touch me. I ain't gonna hit you now. We're gonna have a conversation after the game, though, you know what I'm saying, we are. Honestly, by that time, I didn't even want to fight no more. I wanted to fight the whole rest of the game though, not even gonna hold you. I was looking for a fight. They had like the security dude and somebody else was john with me like he ain't gonna do ship. Oh that's a bet.
I hope y'all think that. That's cool. You can see me at the rest of the game going to their bench like, yeah, okay, he ain't gonna do nothing. That's cool. You a league nigger. I could tell y'all y'all okay, y'all from the NBA. Bro, that's cool. Bro, that's cool. But I'll see you after. Like, my shower was so quick, Bro, I don't even think I took a shower. I might have been in my jersey. Still. They brought six security people up there, and I told them, security people, do
y'all have to understand this moment right here? I needed all to understand this moment right here. Bro, I'm here to talk to nerk he Iss, seven footer. He you've been calling me a punk, pussy whatever, and then he's speaking another language too, so that's bothering me. He didn't set everything under the sun, and maybe he was just trash talking and try and control the game. You won that game, bro, what what? We won the game, but
you won the mind control game. Because I'm pissed. Bro, you clearly don't care like y'all just gonna pack it up and go home. I have an issue, bro, that you got away with splitting my lip. I have an issue real like, for real, somebody got to pay for that. And I ain't even ask the rep for a foul. I don't want to shoot free throws to that. I don't want to cut lip. I want to be able to kiss my wife without blood in the mouth. What
I'm saying like, I don't want to cut lip. So we're gonna talk about this because if you do this again next time I see you, when you set the screen, I'm just gonna run you over. And if you get up too fast, I'm gonna show you what time it is. Bro. I fight you, big ass. I don't care. I don't even care if I lose. But it's the fact that you're gonna realize if I do that, I got a box. I got a box. Whether I win or loss a relevant. It's the same thing with basketball talk. Give me my one,
Shorty's what I'm saying. I ain't gonna shoot you or something. We're gonna box, though, and you wait bigger than me. Honestly, you you probably could should win, you know what I'm saying on paper, But that's that's the thing about paper. I'm saying, that's that's the thing about paper. Like we could all we could all bet and go to Vegas and put the money up. But if I'm saying, if it swings, somebody else canna get paid a lot of money. If I knock you out, I'm saying, if you win whatever,
you're win whatever. But when I swing and you sleep what I'm saying, and I'm and I'm not a person that's out here like trying to like promote violence or nothing. But literally, basketball is the only time I get to hate people. Bro, let me get my time. Give me my forty eight minutes of hating people. That's cool, Bro, forty eight minutes. I'm sticking ahead after that. Bro, I'm cool. I'm the most children in the world. That's why I'm cool, because I take it all. I'll let it go to
that moment. Like That's why I feel like Russell Westbrook. That's why he do the fashion ship and he's so flat boying and fun because on the court he a deemon. He don't care, Bro, his gotta throw if if you jump I gotta dunk you all. I gotta scream. I gotta It's so intense when you put that much work in.
So it's like when that man split my lip. G I just got up, like Bro, y'all think, I'm y'all think at this point, if I don't confront you, bro, the next man gonna think he could do that, Bro, and I'm gonna be banned off the league for what I do to him. I'm like, Bro, I don't know where y'all was allowing that that. I never allowed nobody to put no shoulder into my mouth. Fam, you moved, we could. I don't care how many people it's gonna watch this replay and say you didn't move. I don't
care what they say. He's like, look, ask your team. He like, asked your team. Like when he's in the locker room, they like, ask your team. Asked cool, Bro, I don't care. Evan turned over the laughing. You know, he grew up in Opaka, so he's like, he likes, calm down three, Like what's good? Like what you old? Like? I'm like, bro, who who's let he like? He not? He's not trying to fight you man, You're doing too much like, go to the locker room. Bro, like what
you're doing? And I'm like, bro, my lip, I'm like, look who letting that slide? Bro, I'm supposed to let that slide for real? For real. Then I'm talking, So you said you think he did it on perfect okay? Called me a pussy at sweaking who showed me? Who? Who at least apologize? Apologize? Then I walked up, Bro, But I pulled up. You didn't want to come out the locker room. You walked around the towel laughing. Thought
it was sweet cool. I could have continued on, but I realized at that moment, you're a basketball player overseas at that basketball player. I didn't get hit with almost screens though for a good couple of months, anybody hit me with no screens. I ain't getting out one dirty screen set. Mys don't even want to do it with me. NBA was getting ready to try to experiment. They maybe they went through all this show. I said, BRO went
over there to have a conversation. Y'all sitting there saying I tried to bond, I tried to kick the door down. I said, I need y'all to know. I told them on the phone. I need all y'all to know that I can get past all six of your security guards. I need y'all all to know that they would have to shoot me to put me down. I will beat every security guard over here. I will beat the snot out of him, no bullshit, no disrespect to him, no disrespect to him. But man to man, you can't deal
with me. I don't even know why they hired you to secure an athlete that's this big. You can't deal with me. You know you can't deal with me. That's why six of y'all here. But if I want in that locker room, I'm getting in that locker room, and the first person that grabbed me is gonna deal with me. I'm so controlled and understanding of the situation. I'm outside the locker room waiting patiently for this man to come have a conversation with me. I needed him to see
the level of seriousness. He chose not to do so it made it got made out to be all that ship. But to tell you the truth, I was really respectful. I was very composed, Like I could have been wilding, bro, like you know what I'm saying, Like I couldn't. Yeah, I'm like I couldn't get back there, but I told you all I needed to have a conversation with that man. I would have walked that man into a broom room if we could. Let's go into this broom closet right quick, man,
real talk and have a quick conversation. Bro, whatever you wanted to go, it could go there. But we need to establish that you are grown man. I'm a grown man. You did some dirty ship. Whether you're gonna admit it, you get penalized for it. I'm not with the whole like like like, if if this man come and he's steal something from me, honestly, I would much rather he can pay for it and live his life. And no, he can't do that again. But if it's one of the things where he feels like, damn, all I gotta
do is dodge the police. I damn, I funked up because they saw me. You're gonna still again. You're just gonna do it the right way. What I'm saying is the nick of that stole. He don't need to go to jail. You need your ass whoop straight up. You need to get caught on tape. We know it's your face. You try and walk through this hood again and Mars get on your ass because they feel like you're a thief. And then you gotta work up your trust back. That's
how you correct the action. I really don't think sitting in jail that is correcting the action sometimes, you know what I'm saying. So my mind set on it was like, ye, I'm trying to correct the action. So nobody does that to me again. And then I gotta go to the moon because it'll go to the moon. Shorty. I'm let a tooth for something with it came out, Bro, it's going to the moon. It's going to the moon. Nort what you mean, bro? And if I can't, if I can't get it done right there in the game, you
think that's over with. I'm not that type of guy. Bro, I'm not gonna let you win. You think you know what I'm saying. You think you gonna put me out the playoffs and I ain't gonna pull up next season. I'm pulling up, shorty, just straight up. If you go home, I ain't going there. I go to your carib I your be a bunch of your family walk around and seven ft y'all jump my asks. I ain't doing that. But as far as this, he'll read the film we go box period. But I actually command nert because there
was he joked around about it on Twitter. Um later on, somebody said something and he was like, well, fuck it, we should just go get shot, like we should just go get that crazy. But I'll play with him. Like it was funny because he was just like, no, we need some toughness. Like I know he ain't no bit this crazy, but was sitting outside my locker room. I
don't know why, right, there's a psycho. Though. I would love to play with this psycho because it's like as a man, but that's the part that you said you got to do your own legacy. I would much rather it be a bunch of people in the league that's say a little off. Don't play with him. But yeah, at the end of the day, he gonna rap bro and he's gonna rap a web on his team. He'll be in trouble later. He'll deal with the trouble later, but he ain't gonna let somebody flipp with my superstar.
That ain't happening because now I gotta rewatch it. And no, I could have stopped that. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, I can't stand the nigger to let you mess up and then be like you messed up. But you saw me Benn mess up two hours ago. It was real, Joe, real man. Just let it go down. That's crect. That's not love. Show me a little love, bro, just a little love. That's care. Care for me, Care for me, Joe.
And it's like you have so many situations like that, man, where it's like you damn never be wanting somebody to protect you. Know what I'm saying. What I'm saying, like I just I would much rather be a league saying he'll ride like it made. It made seem a little crazy at times. But his intention is to win. His intention is to look out for his Like my whole life, I had a little brother and I had big brothers. How it work? You could mess with me here? If
my brother gonna come help clean this up. He wanted to hear that, even if it went down when he wasn't here, he wanted to hear that you you better have popped off. You bet not have been on some call my brother. No, you're gonna deal with that ship as a man right here. If you if you get whooped out. Cool, but they know it ain't gonna be no play play now when we come back, we're just coming back. You know what I'm saying. That it's a new fight. But that first fight, g you ain't staying team.
You saw if you saft, you ain't going outside no more. I'm saying, that's what it becomes. You saw cool, then you stay with mommy, You stay your little asked with mommy. Then, But I'm not gonna be leaving what I got to do over here to come clean it up every time. Like you know what I'm saying. If if it's one of the things where it's like, damn, my little brother got into a squabble and he stood on his tin,
they tried to jump him. Now we're coming back to no, we gotta have that in order for my brothers to even say he were fighting for. That's starting accountability, That's what I'm saying. Like, and that's maybe I'm fucked up. Maybe I'm sucked up. Maybe my upbringing was a little fucked up. I don't know, bro, you know what I'm saying, Like, maybe my brothers didn't do it right, Maybe they made
me a little to it. Maybe I don't know. But I love my brothers to death, I'm saying, and I love being able to walk around not feeling like I don't know how to move, like I feel like a lot of people I don't know how to move. That's people that have asked me, like Joe, you don't be nervous going, and I'd be like nervous about what? Gee? Like, what is y'all talking about? We've been hoop was for like a couple of years. Money like I've been you know what I'm saying, Like I had bread for what
now eight years? I was broke the whole time, my nigga, Like it's nothing to be at the chicken spot by myself. I'm not thinking, oh, they've been a ride on me, and if they often a ride on me, I'm prepared, you know what I'm saying. I thought this through. I don't need another groom man having to watch my I'm not out here wearing a bunch of chains and and throwing money in and I'm not doing that. G I'm here for some chicken bro I actually don't even know.
I'm saying, like I might have woke up and don't got no bros on just got some sweats and a beta like I might not even have my marriage. Bring on, bro, my wife might be mad, But I'm here at the chicken spot g like I ain't doing nothing. I ain't bothering nobody. It's in the car, know what I'm saying, Like I ain't it's in the car. If if I put off and y'all want it, it's in the car. Yeah, I ain't gonna you know what I'm saying, Like, I'm not looking for it. But I'm also not going to
feel like I can't be a grown up. What I look like? My daughter said, hey, man, let's go get some daddy, let's go get some ice cream. Let me call security. All right, then that's what That's what I was gonna say. That's what I was gonna ask you to, like before we wrap this up and got out of here. How has being a father changed your life? Man? That that right there? Like ship like that, Like you gotta ask yourself, like he said, what's your legacy? Feel like?
Who are you? Like? If you don't have a game, are you no longer as good a father to your kid? If I don't have basketball, or I can't wrap it anymore, I can't do nothing that will publicly get me acknowledged. Will my kids still be proud as hell to say I'm her daddy? Right exactly exactly? Do I do enough? Solid nigger ship? Like that's what your kid does for you? Take out whether I'm popping, whether I have a good game,
bad game. You gotta make sure she got pampers. You got make sure she's smiling, make sure her day was good. She don't underst don't understand that we lost. Y'all lost game for you. Talk you salty. Hey, daddy, I ain't seen you all day. You know what I'm saying. You ain't been walking with you all day, even in your room watching TV, watching your little clips and ship. You had to eat your meal. I know what I'm saying. Me Mommy eating something totally different than you because you
can't have your certain diet and ship like that. She just like, okay, you back the regularly yet? Can we play now? I don't care that you're back messed up from that. I don't care what Nurkis did to you. Like like we've ben to run around, man, I want to run around and do stuff. Lift me up. You're
the strongest one of the family. I want you to lift me up real high, like they hold you accountable for you're a human and then you an athlete and then yeah, like you're you have to be that human form of I have to I have to be affection that I have to be a provider security. I can't have security if I'm my kids security. Yeah, that's like a conflict, you know what I'm saying Like that, I mean, don't get me wrong. Junior's junior and my wife both
they need security like they are people. Like people run up on my wife all the time, like full sprint to where I didn't got ready to know what I'm saying. I don't have had to tell a couple of times like you'all don't know we we might need security. Because I don't know how to handle that. I'm gonna make the wrong decision. Like I've never seen anybody sprint, not a grown man. You're not gonna sprint to my wife.
That's weird. Think I'm on this side of the car and by the time I'm on that side of the car, You've made up so much time in that sprint. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, how do you even know that was us? They teedam posted a thank you on Instagram with the picture of the car. Nickoln's seen the car and the sprinted to chase this car down. You know what I'm saying. So where it's just like, that's scary to me. Bro, I'm
that's action to me. But I had to take a step back and say, Yo, your wife is way more famous than you, bro, Like, she's fame for real. This is fame crazy young women inspired by a It's just a bigger overall spectrum like basketball is athletic. I'm a fan of what you do. Music is like we love her music, we love everything she's about. We got to learn about her since she was sixteen. We know you feel like you know her. You know what I'm and though you don't know her, you know what I'm saying.
So they have a different craze that come with them. But I just with with with with kids, like the way my daughter has made me wake up on a day to day and realize what's what's real and really important. Bro. Like kids like it's the it's the best job in the world, man, Like I love basketball, I love making music, I love doing everything that I love doing. Man, But there's nothing like being a parent. It's nothing like a
kid taking what you say for gold. Like if I tell Junie that ain't cool, then that ship ain't cool. You know what I'm saying. I'm not She knows at this age, I'm not gonna try and control you know what I'm saying. There's certain artists she listened to. I don't want to listen to the ship. But you're a kid, bro, Like have a good time, you know what I'm saying, Like I just don't do nothing food and we're good.
But like I just man, I look I do. I look na kill me, bro, because I'm over travel another with don't right back there, baby bros, just baby deliver. Do you know how to feel like? Like? And I can't wait to drop my album because on my album I speak on it a lot. It feels so good to like wake up and before I leave to go work out, Like I see t laying with Junie. Well he'll be laying with the baby, sleeping on the side
so she could skin the skin with the baby. And the moment I get up because usually Junie, I I put separ Junior sleep will So I'm gonna put some separation between hunt just so Junie don't roll over and knock over and knock on the baby. You don't push t over onto. So I'll sleep right there, and I have Junior, so it's like we both cater to one kid type thing. The moment I get up, by time I don't brush my teeth and came back, I'm watching Junie roll into my spot right up under our mama.
And then I have to look at Tease face look exactly like Johnnie says, and I see Rue way there. And it's crazy because I'm like hearing people say, like, all rude look like yo, Mama, she looked more like you. Junie looked more like Tea. But when I sit there and look, I'm like that girl looks just like Junie. You know what I'm saying, I'm like the gene like this. It's just fascinating to me. Man, it's my favorite ship.
It's why I like it might be why my music is becoming so free, you know what I'm saying, Because it's like, gee, that's not real. Like the fact that I can't be worse at playing basketball because I rap. That doesn't make my jump shot change, Like I still go to the gym, still do all that it's just the time most people been doing X, Y and Z. I just cut that out and wrap, you know. I was there, like that's all. That's all it is, ain't nothing crazy, it's just with them kids. Like that's the
best excuse. You can't really say much to me. She's like what you at this point though, like even an NBA personnel person, it's just like you can't really tell me. I ain't living right, bro, Like my daughter listened, she can count. She's working on months, but like trying to do months forward and back now like little shit, Like but this is on her own. This is without you know, they had the COVID ships where they couldn't be in
school and ship. This is like ship that she wakes up like that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, the days of the week. It's like what this is? How going on her iPad, asking Siri anything, just chasing whatever and then bringing it to me, running through me, running through her mama. And I'm just watching and how her mind is being shaped. And as long as her mind is being shaped the right way, and my offering to the world is ruined, JUNII, I'm good. They're gonna
be great representations of me, period. They are going to be awesome representations of me in Tiana. You know what I'm saying to where it's like anything else that we fail at that we try. So what we're going to teach a kid to be nervous about everything? What if you got seven missiles, you're only gonna shoot one of them.
How are you gonna know if they hit? If that one didn't here, how are you gonna know if you really could hit you could miss the first one to hit all six after that, but you're gonna have to shoot all seven to know. We don't want me to shooting one missile and they don't go their way and then they just I tried. I know so many friends that just it's like, Bro, whyt that you ain't need to try out for the basketball team? What do you mean? No?
I mean they was all on the team before that, and people just be they got their spots already made. What just go try out and had him tell you know, you want to try try? But we have this nervousness this whole Now. I'm so glad that that ship has gone from me, Bro, because there's a nervousness like I wish I would have wrapped the real ship that I want, Like I wish my first project I put out in New York. I wish I put out my real project.
There was a whole another album, and I had to dial it back because I didn't want to come off like that with my rookie years, like y'all get introduced to that, you like. They made me listen to all this alt iverson ship and all the ship he said and how they didn't go as planned and all this other ship which, by the way, I found some aunt k ivs and ship is actually kind of raw. I don't know why Nigga said he couldn't wrap. That's neither here nor there. But they made me listen to all
that and I doualed it back. That changed the whole album. Then I used some beats that weren't even my beats, uh, just to try and like, you know, appease for you just really just to keep everybody at bay, like, Okay, he ain't go too crazy, you know what I'm saying. They got a reaction, but I think people sort of shocked me where it was like, yeah, he could wrap as a tall basketball player, right, Yeah, you see what I'm saying like, but if I was giving like, like,
how idea heavy steppers? Right if my rookie year the first thing you heard from me was can't be stepping out with them steps unless you're stepping out with your weapon. Don't never answer none of their questions. All that line and make the ship messy. We see the button get mad and we press it. We killed a light top off on this exit. We see the moon go off of this bestle and make the whole room go off. When I'm rapping, Look, it's straight out the crib. You
know what I'm on. Motherfucker's gonna let it go. I don't need the auto tune. I just need to audio. I just need audible and all score for the audio. Mys talking to me off of me advice like I don't know how to give it up, or if ship really dope, I could pick it up on the fly. And here I asked in the truck. Look I got bread. I got bread. That's free agent talk. But I ain't did make that forty ball like clip of triers. I
go beats horn, knucklehead. That's the pall ship. All ship, y'all didn't started a whole most ship Crown dude, like YouTube, don't boost us when he performing being wrapping, bitch, ain't nothing new come out like that. Mine's gonna be like, you know what, I'm san like Curzy doing all this ship like the NBA gonna take that down, right down,
you know what I'm saying. But if I would have dropped like that, who knows where I would be musically right now, because you would have heard it and been like, no, that nigga cold wrap and take it down. But that nigga could rap and he ain't talking about nothing NBA. I'll forget he played in the NBA talking like that. Yeah, I forget, because what do we do as NBA players.
We're supposed to stay away from guns. Out of all the niggas in the world with the jobs that they got and the money that a public knowledge of my contract, who all need to do it? H That's an American right to bear arms. This is our second Amendment, Number two on the list. Bro, there's number two on the list. You have the right to bear arms to be your own security, as long as it's in self defense. This
is a right. We are told to pay somebody some of the money that we've earned to hold that gun, which I understand it because legally, you know what I'm saying, you don't want to ever have to deal with that. You don't if it go down, though, and say, says my security, if it go down, right, what if this man had a new born baby yesterday and then go down? Nigger said, they've been a ride on me right now.
As soon as I walk up out of hill, is he gonna put his life on the line, or is he gonna have a moment where he say, I got a new born That nigg is on his own. He's gonna die anyway. It's eight of them and get up out of there, which has happened that old boy. You ain't gonna getting them into the end of the day. That's what the security right. This nigga making eighty meal and I'm gonna daf for him. I'm making what, you know what I'm saying, a couple of stacks for tonight.
Come on, man, better defend you so you shouldn't have niggas chasing you like that, right? What you ain't telling me about that? Before the job I told you I cost more. But you know what I'm saying, either I gotta have it's too I just don't like that. It's like when you have somebody that's say no, I'll just do it myself. I'm crazy now, I'm not crazy, Bro, you get that's my right, that's my right. If somebody come in my house, I will do it. I'm not
telling my daughter him to call no police. We'll call him after. We can call him after. Brome pick this nigga little talk. But it's like, gee, I've seen the news. I've seen how this goes. If I call y'all, y'all could accidentally think I'm the man that's the problem. You could blow me down right here, just because I got some blood on me that somebody else put on me.
Just if I'm too frantic in the situation like you, if I'm just doing too much, because it's I can't trust that I can trust me though I know, good goddamn well, me with a weapon, I'm not gonna shoot in a direction that I feel like a lot of people are. I know, I'm gonna make sure that if the heat is on me, I'm gonna make sure I get it the funk away from my family. So if if the heat on me, Bro, honestly, if y'all pull up to my house and it gotta go down and
the heats on me. If y'all just looking for me, Bro, I'm gonna make sure Tianna, June and Rue get somewhere safe, and I'm gonna lead y'all on the wildest goose chase you've ever been on to get me. But you're not. A stray bullet is not gonna hit Them's what I'm saying, Like, if that's in my mind to do that, like, I just never want to be looked at like I'm out here trying to be a street thug gangster. Like Bro, I bet I got friends that they live and die by.
They hold my whole life. I've been telling them, Bro, don't do that, like you don't need all that. Yeah, And little by little, over these last four or five years, I realized why we need not to have guns on some ride around with bad Dana ship. We need to have firearms. It's black people, you know what I'm saying, Like we should be we should be desensitized to it, like we should all be sitting here strapped. I don't know, Yeah, I'm strapped. I'm ready to do this ship well, but yeah, yeah,
that saying like that. But it's like it's like at the end of the day. At the end of the day, sometimes it's not about being strapped and having the problem come to us. What if we sit here, like if I'm strapped and you me knowing my person, me being a calm person, me being through Like I've seen the worst of the world. I've seen the niggas that want to do terrible ship with the guns. I've seen sort
of both sides of everything. I've been lucky enough to be one of the top four hundred players in the world playing the NBA and be around security to see how security moves. They got that clip of me, uh seeing Obama security do what they did, and I'm like that was because they is no longer securities. Details them. Details came from so many different places, but it was Mas coming. I was like, yeah, where he comes from. I'm looking around where dude come from. Every dude left
all these places. Some dude came out the bushes like this ship was crazy. I'm like, I didn't know even know y'all have somebody chilling in the bushes. Y'all probably got a hold booth in there on something like you don't even know about real talk, but how they it came out of these crevices and just picked that podium. The four people that picked the podium up, the people that came out the crevices, replaced the post that then people was watching, and it happened all within him saying team,
can we can we move this podium? Team? And it was like the switch and I was like, Yo, that's power. I've never seen power like that. I've never seen it like that. Maybe other people have. I've never seen niggas moved from a post and by them moving like within his eight steps to get to the post, somebody else was in his position. Ready, you know what I'm saying. And I was like, that was unbelievable to me. But the whole damn I forgot. I was just saying, because
I just boy talking about Obama, your mind out. Yeah. I just feel like I just feel like nobody should be looking at me like I want to be a thug or nothing like that. What I do want to do is I do want to desensitize young men to say you should know how to shoot a gun, you should know how to disarm a gun, you should know how to look at Uh, somebody holding a gun and be able to sort of gauge how many bullets they got in that mare, you know what I'm saying, Like
an extended clip, you should know how many. Like you should know all these things because it's good information to know. If you have somebody running around here and they have a certain gun that I've seen. You've seen the rowny kits that you can put the block in it converts and ship. People don't even know what They look at that and be like, what is that? You think it's a toy. If somebody got a colorful one, you'll think it's a joke. Somebody could pull that out and you'll
think it's a joke. That's not that's not playtime, you know what I'm saying. But I just feel like it's stupid to say, oh, why do you guys have to have guns? Well, why do y'all like the police? The only reason you like the police because they have a gun, that's it, and they can hide behind line shooting the gun with a badge. They didn't shoot the person, The bad shot him. Mhm. Literally they the badge can deal
with the court case. That's it. But we literally called nine one one because they're gonna show up with a gun so they can handle all the above. You know what I'm saying. I don't know what's gonna happen in them fifteen minutes that it takes y'all to get to my daughter's nine on one car. I don't know it's gonna take you all the while though. What I'm saying, but I want my daughter at ten years old, just
like the little white boys. And this is not to go in on the race ship, but the little white boys at ten ten years old, they'd be in the gun range. Bro, I went to the gun range. I've seen so many kids. A little white boy got his own rifle, know how to shoot that mob everything. What I'm saying, he knows how to do it, know how to work it. It doesn't scare him. That's people like that white boy was all on the cup face like you don't know me, man, He ain't scatter that ship.
He's looking at that ship like that is a nine millimeter that is standard. You scared if you say some ship? I know the guy above you, and the guy above you and the guy above him. You know what I'm saying. That's why they had that. It's it's confidence that take away fear. You know what I'm saying. It's the confidence. It's the repetition of saying, I've shot in this, I've seen how it shoots. I know what it can do. I know it can harm me. I also know how hard it is to hit an actual target if it's
at ft, if it's at ten feet. You know what I'm saying, Like, you know, you start understanding and realizing if he was gonna do it, he ain't gonna do it right now. He ain't gonna do that, you know what I'm saying. Like, it's also people that can't answer a question once they see a gun. My first time getting pulled over, which is why if you notice the mixtape cover, it's my my mug shot and and uh animation. My brother made it animated and at it color and everything.
But they literally toy at me because they started touching their guns, and I was just uncomfortable. I'm like, if y'all do start blowing, i ain't got no fight in the car, Like I told him, I ain't got no fight nothing. I'm picking my dad up from the airport. I ain't know nothing. I'm an NBA player, I know my hair looked crazy. I didn't have an heir caut. I didn't sleep with the dude. I looked crazy. I
looked wow. But I just rolled out the bed and get my dad from the airport, like I wasn't on ship, you know what I'm saying. And they started asking me all these questions. But because they're touching their gun, I'm just saying anything. How the fate cried Opviously, you don't know if to do this. I did all that, bro and then hop writing in the car you here as soon as I get in the car, and the fear of gone well, I'm like, okay, cool, I'm just going to jail. You hit me in the car. There's some
motherfucking bullshit. Man, what you're doing on the internet? Was doing I don't know like that. No, this happened that when the Nike pulled me over, brod and did that. I came up with every excuse lied to the man went back on my story all type of ship because him and the other officer unbuckled. They got their hands on their ship, like uh, a little bit of crumbs and trees a little bit. Yeah, man about mind, you had a little tree on me. I don't really like.
My problem was like I drank one time in college and I was I believe I was late to practice. I did some ship and I was just I was late and I knew. I was like, yeah, I set my alarm everything, and that liquor I couldn't function, you know what I'm saying. And then I didn't play well the day after that, and I was like, that was all from drinking, and I was what I'm saying, So my vice don't really lean with liquor like that, don't you know what I'm saying. I was more of a
cigar smoker anyway, So I just smoked my codebus. But yeah, they go out me for it and they like it was just I would have said regular ship if they wouldn't have grabbed their guns. But once you snap your gun and you're looking at me and they had the big share of drinks, big, I was uncomfortable. Gee. I'm like, gee, I got a wife, a kid at home. It's a lot of crazy ship going on in the world. Please don't shoot me. I played NBA basketball, bro, I know
I look crazy. I understand I'm big. I mean the rental I would never draw drive an Audi A three. I drove all these sense by the way, I ain't sucking all the I apologize for all these, but I ain't trying to disrespect you all brand. But I went it went left when I was in y'all ship because they did. I didn't know how to work the whatever the I guess the light the headlights were on, but I guess you had to turn the little lights for the tail lights. I'm like, nigga, I don't know how
to work on Audi A three. Bro. I don't drive this like they have. They're supposed to have a rental. They didn't have one. I needed uh Tiana's friends. They needed something to drive. I was trying to get a Tahoe. Rental company said they didn't have nothing ready. I'm like, well, I just need some wheel stain, you know what I'm saying. End up letting my wife take the other car and I took the three. I'm just picking up my dad
from the airport or whatever. Get locked up in the ship. Oh, I hate ad, but it was just like that ship happened, and I could have I could have just like powdered about it and did dumb ship. But like I took that court case and I did no good you know what I'm talking about. But he was like going in on me like I knew, and I was like, sir, I don't drive this car. Man. When they heard that unbuckle, I'm like, sir. But in my mind, I'm like, gee,
they finn up pop me. I'm in a dirt road going I would they pulled me off the way to where we get off. I'm like, I ain't never been in this rural ass, weird ass area. G I don't know where I'm at nothing like. I'm like, I'm on the side of the road. Then they trying to make me do a test to see if I'm drunk. I'm like, I haven't drink anything, Like, I have no drinks nothing.
I didn't try to walk on the line. He don't walk out into the middle of the street with his but he gonna make me walk on the unleveled thing with that little white chalk line that they got on the side. You got me walking on that. I'm damn definite a fall. You're like standing on one leg. I'm like, so, I don't did a whole a whole uh workout today? G Like I played basketball. You're asking me to do like this is this is another workout, Like you got me standing on one leg trying to control my body.
I'm like, Bro, I have to do this. This is my rehab today. Bro, you asked me to do this on the torn torn b Yeah, like this is impossible. I'm like yeah, but he like, well I could do it. I could be if I could do what you should do it. And I'm looking at this man like, bro, you just wanted. So I'm like at this point, I'm just like, I hope he's just take me to Jill. You know what I'm saying. But when they was touching their guns, I was uncomfortable with you a thought I
watched it. All I could think was next time. Bro. Now that I understand what y'all on, I'm gonna just shut the sunk up. Bro. I'm gonna just tell y'all he'll go my license, he're go my registration, lock me up or don't lock me up. But I'm no longer talking and I'm gonna sit there like this. Yeah, I think you say something, Yes, registerfied arm, Yes, make it home. So look so here. So I got one last question.
So in closing right, what are your last words to the fathers, the aspiring athletes and the aspiring rappers out here that are trying to make it like what it like? What is the last thing that you want to say to them before we end this interview to make them understand that they need to keep going or try to
maybe figure out something else. Um, I say that as far as the entertainment side of things with basketball and music, excuse people, UH feel like people as a whole resonate with the real whole lot better so as a basketball player and doing everything that somebody else wants, you could fit in. But to be special is to bring something nobody else brings. And that's the genuine reality of you. And the only person that can have that genuine reality
of you is you. Because we don't know what we don't know what what happens when it go down with you, We don't know. You know that in your heart. But never fear that, like that moment that I was talking about, that that fight or flight, yes or no, you make it or you don't make it moment, don't fear it. Don't fit that line like even upcoming fathers, like we talked about it, we can all joke about it. If it go down. Do you think that you're going to
let your child die? Then you could deliver your child because no matter how scary it is, it's scarier for the child. You're gonna stand up and make it happen, like you're gonna kick in survival mode, Like that's what. And then it made me realize, like I tell people all the time, people like, oh my god, you just out here just I'd be like, baby, I ain't ship m I'm him though, Oh i'm him him. If you ever asked category you you ain't him, I'm him now.
But it's a it's a you have to realize that with all this ship that we're doing, we're all trying to make it where like me, I personally used to have all types of ship where I'm like I'm damn near being a hater, where I'm like many you can't do music. And I had to have a moment where I say, you mon may be they get down like that. I'm like, y'all listen to this, Nike, y'all fnla, let this think and say that that's I've seen him before,
he don't. Yeah, those moments are crazy, like, hey, g it's a whole demographic of people that real life get down like that, and they yeah, they can relate to that. They like that, they like that. Yeah he's singing the whole song and calling the rap song, but they like that. Let him say what you hat on the phone. It's gonna be a whole demographic niggas with hoodies and red eyes that want to hear everything you got to say. M Are they gonna Now, I don't know if they're
gonna buy them music or to go out. No, you know, my ship maybe just a bunch of real niggas listening to my ship when they drive their daughters around, drive people and they in the car. I get all the plays from them, you know what I'm saying, But they ain't gonna listen to me outside of that. I gotta be cool with that, and I gotta make music for my genuine self, you know what I'm saying. So it's like I would say that, like to to answer your
question in one sentence. You never know, you never and it's to speak on what you said with the legacy. You never know when it's gonna be your time, you know what I'm saying, And live each breath genuinely and wholeheartedly. Into what you want, Like whether that's in a relationship, whether that's in your profession, your family, whatever. If you got a little moment where you ain't been talking to your mama and you have that moment in a day, we're like, damn, man, I wish ill talked to my
mama more. Call your mama. That's a sign of something. That's your mama. Call your mama. Something told you to do that, Something in your in your person told you to do that. Go with your person, Bro, I could give you the most advice ever. People coming to me all the time. Hey man, I want your advice because you know, I'll just be looking at you in Tiana Ship and y'all just brow me in Tianna. Get into it. Man, that girl says the wi me. Man, you know what
I'm saying. That girl, that girl she gonna feel like she gotta say it this way. So you know I mean this ship, it's times that if you walked in, you'll think me and Tiana on all the way out the picture we've done. We're even to deal with each other,
you know what I'm saying. But the reason we work is because I think and it's scary, because it's like the same thing that I tell people be all problem, it's all blessing because when you when you, when you're able to, if you're able to say to somebody's face, I fucking hate when you talk like that. I hate it. I literally hate it when you do that. When you do that, I hate to completely. I don't want to
be around you. Or if you eat this food, I'm not gonna kiss you because there's certain people that you eat that food. I hate your breath, but I'm still gonna kis you because that's petty. That's petty, bro I even to bring that up. That's petty. I would I bring that up because you don't like it and it's irritating you a little by little every single day. So you never corrected, you know what I'm saying, and that should have turned into something else and make a big
blow up. I think that's why we never hit resentment, because you always addressed even the littlest petty ship and work it out before it becomes like a bigger like blow up. Types no matter what it is. If she got to hit me over the head with a fucking guitar to do it, she hasn't hit me over the head. It's hard to say. I know she's a little awful. I'm just throwing that out there, but I know she tell me like, Bro, I'm gonna do that. People like you don't have to do that. You don't have to
go there. And she'd be looking like Joe, you're not in this ship, bro, like right, And it's it's that it's a domestic dispute, and it's that. And people got to know, like y'all could look at me and say, I'm not gonna hurt my wife. I'm not gonna beat up. I'm not gonna slam her. If she swing on me a million times in my face, bro, I'm not gonna die if I can't take that. She don't need to be with me. Bro. If tiaa king pushed me in
my face, bro, and get away with it. Bro. It's I'm just not man enough out here, you know what I'm saying. Like I should be able to deal with her little fist, if I could deal with the bigger fists that I had to deal with, you know what I'm saying. So if she didn't split your and then it shot shop when you when you played five more years ago, when you retired police come back, the bigges. Oh no, we're gonna talking for real, y'all. Man, And I would let all of ers know many they stayed.
I was up all night. You dealer with my daughter, rue Man and the whole team to stay here, dealt with my ship man. I really appreciate. I never I would never. I would never leave all hanging like that dog. I had the alarm going at everything. I just couldn't get up. I just when she woke me up, like you would think I would have woke up and jumped up. When she woke me up. I was looking at my wife like you leave me alone. I was delirious, and
she like they're saying, you got any of view. They screaming at me like I ain't wake you up, like you need to get up. I'm like, she's I just woke you up. You still sleep. I'm like you, I don't even remember you coming in here the way. Apparently she woke me up at twelve and I just didn't move, like you know what I'm saying. Like so I just sat there for another ten minutes like curious, and she had to get me and wake me up. I would never leave like them. I appreciate you put that joy
ride pulling up the big facts. Yeah, we can. I say one thing about um. The whole joy ride UM is called the joy Rade because I have the album This car Ain't stolen, So it's like to lead up to that. Because COVID hit and ruined my whole album layout. Man, it ruined a lot of niggas layout. I was trying to be. I had a social event that I was going to take on tour. You know what I'm saying That I couldn't do it no more. So I came with the joy rad and it's to keeping that car theme,
but it's me basically joy riding on everybody's beats. I'm joy riding on industry beach. Is why I went with drama. There is one original song though, it's called Gohan, so I'm gonna make sure I get that to y'all. Know what I'm saying, nigs doude that they do go Han go, and the reason go Han is on there again. To go back to what you were saying, my daughter she picked it. She said, that's the song. Executive producer. She listened to the project and was like, Daddy, where's Gohan.
I'm like I'm like, oh baby, that ain't you know what I'm saying, these all the people, that's an original song. She was like, no, put Gohan on there. It's not on the other one either, Like she's like, it's not on this car and stolen and they don't make rad put that on them, So it's on that. It's a chill song. It's like one of them songs that kids is gonna like I got the upbeat beat, you know, they could do the little TikTok's and trillers to it.
And it's a fun song. But the whole project is just it's fun man, and it's me like, it's not it's not really a lot of fabrication going on. It's not really a lot of sugarcoat and or like me watching how I say that ship like I'm not and I'm not saying they don't know like wow, left ship like it all makes sense, you know what I'm saying. It's just like I feel like a lot of people are gonna be like I knew that it was like that.
It is that personal delivery. Yeah, Like I knew and you could tell, like like even when I talked to Hannah, Hannah was like yeah, like you sound ready now, like you're comfortable like, but it's like now I'm kicking real ship. It's way You're way more confident saying some ship that you mean than saying some ship you hope it's wrong that they would like. That's what I was saying about doing what they like. You gotta make ship gamely for
you know what I'm saying. Like and in fact, like I said, Man, if I put the ship out and the NBA say, Man, we don't want you no more, man, I'll be all right. Bro, I'm cool with that. I could live with that, you know what I'm saying, Like if I got to go overseas or they say overseas, man, we don't like it you wrap, I'm cool with that, bro. You know what I'm saying At that point, I really am g because I'm not going to go off the earth acting like I can't wrap or don't like the
rap just so that I can hoop. I'm gonna hoop whether I'm in the league or not. Bro, I've already proved it to myself. I haven't had a job and I'm still going to l a fitness equal Knox Katie, where y'all at y'all hoping you're healthy. Oh, y'all hooping. I'm out there my wife like, you're going to l A. Why are you going to l A because they hooping? Yeah, everybody to left you. Everybody left it left up going too.
I got a hoop. But it's like if I'm going and spending my own money to just go hoop for free, I really live hoping, So I don't have to prove that by having the NBA jersey. You know what I'm saying, Like, I'm just at that point in my life. It may be just being thirty, but that's why I'm at joy Rack. We appreciate your man. I appreciate man.
