Big Bag and DJ Screen bring you Big Bats, the hottest podcast in the streets. Visit the new website today www dot Big Facts pod dot com live for first class sounds. You know who it is, DJ Screen, Big Bank, Baby j This is Big Facts, and you know we're showing a love to the black film directors, the black actors and actresses and everything, just a lot of black excellence.

So we had to bring in today the creator of the Mixed Girl film That's Grey, and of course the start actor in that you might know, miss j Young. So let's let's give it up for them pulling up the Big Facts. What's up, homies, everybody feeling well, Hey, we're feeling good. I just want to say thank you

for having us on your show today. You know, everything's Big Facts, you know, you know what it is, so so so one of the days we've been talking about today leading up to this conversation is just black film.

You know what I'm saying. And how I guess, like in the nineties, black film was I guess you could say kind of like at a peak, like he had black films to watch over and over and over again, and I don't know, I guess at some point, like black television as a whole is still always been popping, but at some point it's just like you don't have those uh what do we say? I got the hook Ups in the Woods, Yeah, Friday Society, Yeah, this man Man.

Those classic films. Um Honestly, as a filmmaker myself, you know, I love those old movies like you um that we reference. I just think that, you know, when it comes to creativity, a lot of you know, filmmakers, they're just looking at what's right now. And you know, to me, it's all about creating a story. To First of all, you gotta take your time when you're writing a script. You know, everybody just want to do something. You just want to

do it right away. So if you look at if you look at those classic films, even Ice C when he wrote Friday. You know, I remember I was watching the interview from him. He told me like he was saying, like it took him two years to write that script. You could tell up because now it's a classic, you know. So I feel like that's the that's that's what we're missing.

You know a lot of writers that I come across, when they write something, they don't never take their time to do it right, and then when you try to critique them, they get personal. They're getting their feelings. But really, like when you're writing something and you want something to be a classic, you gotta take your time so you can't make sure that it's it's a classic film. And that's what I'm focused on. So I want to bring

that old school vibe that you're talking about classic. That's what this whole empire is about now, is about breathing, creating movies that's gonna be a lone life situation where our grandkids can watch it and it's still be a classic. What's the biggest obstacle being a black female director? Who?

The biggest obstacle to me is like being respected. You know, Um, working in a male dominant industry is hard for females to be respected because they look at us like, oh, you're a woman, you don't know what you're talking about. Oh just go sit over there. Oh you don't know nothing about this camera, you don't know anything about this land, you know. But really, like a woman, if we want to learn something, we're gonna like go above and beyond to study and know about it. So like working in

this industry a lot of times. You know, I used to get overlooked at because I was a female, you know, but so I had to work ten times harder than a male to be respected. So I feel like the respect thing to me is so important when it comes to like working in this dominant male industry. You gotta like, as a woman, just talking to other female creators out there, you just have a you gotta have a tough skin. You gotta have tough skin. You can't say things personal.

You know, it's gonna be time that you know you're gonna work on something and somebody's gonna say they don't like it just because they want to hurt your feelings. But you gotta be tough, like you gotta. You gotta stick to your vision. If you see something, you just gotta go after it. And just everything else around. You should be a blur. And that's what I did. When you're coming from like music videos, named some of the

people that you did music videos. I've directed music videos for a Little Baby, I directed music videos for Future, I've directed music videos for the Vito. I directed a music video for Chris Brown um Ship. So yeah, Gotti, I was saying, you know what I'm saying like you feel me, you feel me like yo, yeah yeah, because my guy man, I'm excited about continue to work with him in general. So um yeah, I don't did a

lot of people why jumping into film and how hard it? Like, how hard is it to transition into doing the film because now you're looking at something that's three minutes or something that's an hour longer. When I tell you the process we shot this movie with last year. Yeah, we shot it August of last year. The process of making a movie, it's a process, you know, because you gotta think about the pre production side. First, you gotta worry about the casting, making sure you cast the right people.

And then you gotta look at the locations. You gotta look at permits, you gotta it's just so so much that goes into like creating a movie. And the hardest part is the post production when it comes to editing movie. So I would say, like you just gotta have patience and you gotta make sure you hire the right people around you. That's not looking at the dollar, but looking at the art first, because the money gonna come, you

gotta look at the art first, you know. So the process of that from music videos, into sam patients was just a passion. Like when did you first pick up a camel? Yoh, that's so crazy, Like I first pick up a camera when I first moved to America. I moved to America when I was thirteen years old, you know Haiti. Yeah, so I grew up in Haiti. You know, I grew up very poor and you know, third world country, So I never had TV. I never had nothing, you know.

So I was like one of those kids used to be running the street with nothing, just eating out the trash who was poor. So when I moved here in Miami. I moved to Miami, and I remember like seeing a TV. I was just so shocked. I was like, what is that? And it was just looking at me so weird. But it's like my whole childhood, I've never seen the TV.

And I remember like my little brother was watching Barney and I was like, what is this, you know, And I was just so amazed with it because it's a kid, you know, being homeless, like running in the street of Haiti and just seeing lights coming through people's houses because we stay in the hut. So it's like when I'm seeing like people houses lights coming through, they through the windows at night. I used to wonder, like what is that light? Like what is that light? So moving to

America is seeing that light. I'm like, man, I want to be that person behind the TV. So like since then I said that, And I remember when I said that to my mom and she barely speak English. She said what you want to be? What? And I was like, I want to, I want to I want to do this and she said, oh, no, no, You're gonna go be a ner us. I said, nerves, but is no,

I want to do this. And I remember like I used to go to the flea market, like helping her like sell products in the flea market, and she used to pay me and I purchased the camera, you know. And when I purchased the camera, and I just started being a photographer. And I've just been going that's what I wanted to do. I wanted to be that person behind the television. So coming like coming from from that and coming from like the way that you were brought

up over in Haiti, does that make you appreciate the opportunities? Yes, yes, yes, I'm very like I'm very humble, you know, like every opportunity I get, I always say thank you. Because where I'm from, like even when I go back home, like the neighborhood, When I go home, it's like a big celebration because like I literally grew up very poor, you know. So when I go home, you know, my country, they support me. You know. Two years ago, White Cleft gen

like he called me. He was like, hey, that's great, and I was so shocked because he's a legend in my country and he was like, you know, you hate these first female Haitian director. So he's like, I'm a sup tourt you whatever you're doing, Like I got your back, you know. So like just having that support because it's like at the end of the day, like we don't get that type of supporting Haiti, you know, like the kids they don't have toys, they don't have nothing, you know.

So like every time, like I get obstacles and things start getting hard, I think about moments when I was a child. Things I went through as a child is harder than what I'm going through right now. So that's what motivates me to keep going. J you're making a transition from from being an artist to being an actor. To tell us a little bit about what's spart that. Um, I think I always I mean, I've been acting for years, but of course you met me. Music was the first passion.

But I've always been just in an entertainment period. Um. It started like I started doing movie extra stuff. And the reason I started doing that originally was to like promote my music. Um, you know, I've just seen it like okay, you go on the movies, said it's gonna be all these people. It's probably rich people. You know. That was like my mindset, Like there's gonna be directors, they're gonna be potential investors. So when I started doing film,

it was just more so to promote my music. And then I really found a passion for it and um and I love for it and I was doing both, so I always kind of went back and forth, and then they started just started going like this, and um, then the first movie All Eyes on Me, I played played Who's saying Fatal Outlaws? And that was where I got my sad card and I was like, all right, I'm at the door now for sure, you know what

I mean. And then I started really pushing and then a lot of opportunities just been coming and roll after roll after role. Do you see do you see um the act then like moving in a moving like in front of your life before music. So I love acting and I love music and I don't care which one go first, because I really love him. It's like when people ask me, they're like, what do you love more? I'm like, if you had a son and the daughter, who would you love more? You know what I mean?

You love your son because he looked like you, and he played football and he would protect or do whatever, and he like a many you. But then you love your daughter because she's sweet, because she she adore you. She it's so many different, you know things. So I look at I look at it like that. It's like playing or like Deon Sander's playing two sports are playing both ways while receiver, cornerback whatever. Like That's how I

look at music and film. So I love them both and I don't care what go first, and I just keep going. Which one you think is the easier to do? I think music is easier, um, because it's not as much like film is. Like it's like you have to read your lines, you have to study the lines, you have to be that character depending on the road to UM. So I feel like music is easier because it's more natural, like you do it and you can throw it out.

It's not as much pressure. I don't feel like as it's like film because people like, all right, like a director, you read that script like like nope. So it's yeah, that's what I would saying that you could have done a movie about anything in the world. You could have any topic in the world, but you decided to do one about a young mixed girl. Why is that man

mixed girl? You know? The reason why I wanted to do a movie about that topic because a lot of times I feel like when it comes to a person being mixed, you know, we no offense to no colors. You know, I see a lot of about the black woman, right, so then what about the mixed girl? You know, what about the girl that's stuck in between both where she's Caucasians also she's black, you know, so how's that experience for her in her household? Is she accepted from the

other side? Do they treat her different because she doesn't look like her other siblings? That might be both sides, you know. So I wanted to touch on that topic because that's a topic that's not being discussed, you know. So, um, Mixed Girl is just basically about a girl. Her mother is white and her father is black, and she never met the father because the mother, you know, she met

the father at a college party. They kicked it off and she end up getting pregnant and and he ended up giving her money have abortion, but she wanted to suck it off and go turn up, so she lied to the father. So now you have this black man that don't know that he have a kid, you know, don't know nothing about this child. So now you have this mother that grew up in the South in a small town that's not accepted, you know, being with a

black man. So now she have a kid. Her mom just owned her and she got to raise her white son and her mixed daughter in this small town. So it's like this little girl, she's going through a lot of different change because number one, she don't know who she is because everything that's around her is one color, you know. And then she's getting picked on. And then you have this white brother that want to protect his sister because he knows his sister is different, but he

feels someway because it's like why you, why you? Why you look so different from me? Why why am I being bullied, like why we can't be you know. So it's like that topic is so important because a lot of mixed p go through racist issues, you know, they go through that, or they might not be light enough, you know, or they hair texture might not be straight enough. You know. So I wanted to talk. I wanted to touch on something that's going to create a conversation piece

for a change. You know. So everything that me as a director that I want to bring to light is like topics that people are scared to talk about, and let's just bring it out to the light and let's discuss it. So Jung who played different characters for real, he had to play a younger version of himself, which is a twenty year old wild and then he had to play the older version himself, the successful black man that didn't know that he had a child out somewhere,

you know. So it was an interesting thing. But one thing I can say about j Young, like he he's very talented because playing two different roles, like you have to really focus on that, you know, especially being young and going too old. You know. So, um, you guys just gonna have to see mixed girl man like yeah, which brings us to our next question, how can everybody see Mixed Girl? So right now, Mixed Girl is going

to be streaming at all the film festivals. First, you know, we have a lot of different deals on the table right now, so you know how business gold who ever talked the biggest talk you know, So it's pretty soon you guys are gonna be seeing it. But meanwhile, we're gonna do another screening in certain areas, so you just gotta follow us, you know, the Mixed Girl film, to just get all the updates of the screaming private screaming that we're gonna be doing until it gets to where

it needs to go television wise. And you already got your next films playing out already. Yeah, it was a little you gotta do with this big facts you But all I know is I have my star right here. Yeah, and we haven't talked yet, but I don't want you any because the you'll be doing your thing, I was selling Dre that, so I was like, Dre, you think you'll be down, you know so so so you'll be

doing your thing. I just love how I came in your last screening, and I just love how you just like so dedicated to everything that you do, Like everything that you do you so focus on like she hasn't worked with that's great like that. So I'm about a challenge that ship together. But look now we need all of that. But I can't. I can't. I can't give you the steed we need one. So the next project is gonna be like major, major major. I'm super super

excited about it. We actually got to start getting to casting for a very very soon. So I'm just here, man, it's just just just the beginning. Get you to my name. That's great, a going nowhere, getting started when I get big Usually what was saying and rapping, like what what do you wanna? What game do you want to get to the people? But I want you to give some game to our videographer, Cash directs clear Chris, what kind of game would you give Cash as a young black

woman coming up in this game behind the camera? You know, first thing first, like I acknowledge that you was taking your time, paying attention to all details. I was like, okay, she paid attention to details. So you know, being a being a director, this is what you want to do. Just know that you're gonna have so many different obstacles like so many, so many different obstacles. But first cash,

you gotta stick to your vision. You know, like whatever your vision is, whatever you're trying to create, make sure you create you a strong team around you, because you can't do it by yourself. You know, a lot of the mistakes that I see directors made, like just growing up and just watching them, they get greedy and they just always wanted that just that one spot like that I could do it by myself. Have a team around you, and make sure that whatever you see, don't let nobody black. Oh,

now we can do it this way. Be like funk that we're doing it this way. Direct the game. That sound already there? You see that. I can't wait. I'm gonnakiss the next streaming and I'm gonna be in the next movie for show. I ain't even gonna I know the name of the movie and I know it's about but I ain't gonna see it. Triple W Dot Big Facts Pot dot Com Salute, Salute the whole truth and nothing but the Truth. A lot of first class sounds is DJ Scream, Big Big Baby j Special guests today A Big Facts the cast from the Detroit Dreams Movies, Detroit Dreams Movie, We got Smoked,

our new you'll introduced the whole game. Welcome to Big Facts. What's going on, everybody? Man, Thank you for having this man, what's up? What's up? Appreciate you all pulling up, looking forward to a great conversation today. So before obviously we're gonna get really deep into your movie, but let's just talk about how the state of I guess, independent black films or black movies has changed, because you know, like in the nineties, yea, so many classes you can help

me name them. You have f they boys in the hood, menister society, Jones. And then we started to see some of the rappers make classics like uh I got to hook up paid in full and all that type of ship about it. There you go bit classes right, and then we fast forward to like I don't know, some past the two thousand's and same like that aren't kind of just faded and we don't see as many like people are still doing black films, independent black films, but

they're not as huge as they used to be. So why, I guess my first question is why do y'all think that is? And how are y'all trying to continue their legacy? Well, I think from the standpoint of black movie making, I think it chilled for a minute because we was always getting screwed. You know, it's being a filmmaker. I think this is like my eighth movie. So I've been through the through the through the ranger. Where we sell a movie or we spend fifty thousand, hundred thousand, it's just

being a small budget film. And then we give it to this white company that said we're gonna give you this, give you this, but only take this ten thousand now because you're gonna make this, and then you never see a check again. They just seen you along ex sales spreadsheet that says, yo, you still owe us. You know what, I mean, and that was just a real frustrating thing for filmmakers, which had us like stagnant for a minute,

you know what I mean. But now it's changing something like platforms are streaming Hill kind of make it easier to bring it back because basically you eat what definitely to be shout out to be, ron of applause to to be, because to Be is the black Netflix. It's free for everybody. Everybody black that and downloaded it so they sit and watch it is free, and it gives the filmmakers a chance to put their movie up and

not had these huge white companies. They only got an aggregator, so they only you only got to give to an aggregator and they give you the rest of the money versus before you might take ten thousand from a company and they're telling you, like, bro, you know, we're gonna keep your joint. We're gonna keep it for like ten years, thirteen years, and you never get a dollar again. So that was very very messed up. This does out of

man screening Me and Finesse. Yes, well, Finesse was a little different screen Media, So we did a deal with screen Media, the same people that put out Snowing the Bluff, right, A lot of people don't know Snowing the Bluff only got paid eight thousand dollar advancement, right, and it made all of that huge money, and they didn't make their money back. I mean the actors, Curtis Snow you see what's going on like, they didn't see no money. They

got eight thousand dollar advancement. We got the same type of deal, you know what I mean, Light Scaring help put that one together, and we put all of the money in and they gave us twenty four thousand dollars as an advancement. Now, people of this work, they gave us twenty four tho as an advancement. We spent twenty four thousand on the premiere, right, they gave us twenty four thousand on the contingency that Red Box was gonna

buy thirty thousand copies or some stuff like that. Right then they turned around and say, well, they didn't buy that, but Netflix licensed it for twenty five thousand. So we said, we're cool. At least we recoup that, right. No, uh, Walmarts sold out eight hundred and sixty six stores of Walmarts sold it out right Sears all of these online best by sold it out. I literally got a statement skin to tell you, um, well, how how long is that skin? That we was on the phone with them

and they said, we still owe sixteen hundred dollars. Yeah, three months ago the company said, we still owe sixteen hundred dollars on Birds of a Feather Part one. We owe them that after, you know, after it was just a remarkable movie for the side, you know what I mean. Man, they sent you this long Excel spreadsheet till you got all of these returns. You had this, They spent this, They spent satus like, well, we never told you to

spend that, and why y'all lying, y'all capping. So it's just basically, as filmmakers, we never could know how much a movie generated. We never could know because they could tell us whatever. So it's literally like they told me a skin to tell you. I was on the phone. I said, MA, I'm about to kill all y'all. I'm I'll be in New York. It's whatever, bitch, I'm I'm about to do something. And he telling me, Bro calm down.

And and what's so crazy about it is the attorney that I had go get the sixteen hunted when we got the sixteen hundred. The attorney said, hey, man, you all me that. I said, motherfucker bad didn't tell you. You know. The thing with Finess for Next was my baby. I really thought we was gonna do something with that. I took it to the distributors. They hurt. They said, well, you got hunky, you use fag, you said a lot

of degrading things. We can't pick it up. So I said, okay, well let me put it on Amazon and see what it do. To this day, it's like, okay, you know a few thousand, you know what I mean. It's like, you can't get no money on Amazon. So to be is the new thing now, whereas in we can hopefully start making money on movies, you know what I mean, Because they're like, yo, just find your aggregator and you know, we could do the SEV. But you still gotta be

mind for the aggregator. He might be a coper. He could. You don't know the numbers he gonna tell you, bro. Like I dealt with that with Finess, I gave it to another company, a company that was out here, a young brother that was like, new, give me a shot. You ain't made no money. His name was Trey, I want to tell this company, but he said give me a shot. Man like, let me distribute your movie Black Black Black on the Black's gotta stick together. Gave him

the movie. Man. He told me it was gonna make me ten thousand dollars a month. I looked up at eight months. He ain't give me a dollar. And then I called him and said, well, bro, what do we What do we did? He said, Bro, we did a six hunted monne And I said, well, Bro, I don't want to do this deal. No mo He said, no, Man, that ain't high work. What should night on me? He said, no, Bro, that ain't how this work. We're gonna keep your movie

found for a couple of years. I think it's this tune too, He said, we're gonna keep your movie for a minute. When you hear that, you know some ship might need to redo a cover on it. How we get smoking the movie? So you know, I learned a lot. So I had to come and get my squad for my Detrade squad and do something different. How would get

the blush smoking the movie? Man? Man Detroit Dre Just to be honest with you, shid y'all, can hear me over there to be honest with you, said, Oh, he didn't see the vision, like he believing me some much high skiing fans. I'll call them folks if you know what I'm saying. But he's like, man, I see it in you. You got potential to go bigger and do bigger things. Like it's time for you to do something different.

You know what I'm saying. I found a different avenue because it's a lot of ways to you know what I'm saying, to take your brand to the next level. What's your background? Give us your background for you know, I'm a party remoter from Detroit, number one party, from one party from Detroit. You know what I'm saying, to collab with a lot of people with the Ultimate Black Party, the Ultimate White Party. Um. We did Summer jaff last year. Me, Freddy and my huncle Cat Skins partnered with We did.

I did Atlanta Weekend here me Pad, I was with you too. Thanks. I did a lot of little ship and then I did it. Um. You know, I do a lot of ship. You know, I do a lot of ship. Miami. We did be in the Boss Weekend. We did a whole bunch of things. You know what I'm saying, but we got a chance, and I met a lot of great people. You know what I'm saying by this traveling going state to state and with this movie ship, see it, I ain't like when they're carking with this ship like you ways about to be in

the movie. I was like, what he's like, Man, you about to be in the movie. We get ship? Else you about to do a movie? What you got going on? Drop everything I got you. Let's live it out with that Jinkie light skiing fields hap honest with you, Nuke Luke like he takes you know, he takes pride. You know what I'm saying about what he do. You know what I'm saying, He is joy doing this ship. And he pushed me like crazy, like man, listen, man, this ship is gonna be real. You know what I'm saying.

He he ain't know me as well, so he's like, man, you shore this motherfucking He saw me and look like this motherfucker ain't gonna take this ship serious? Like this didn't get too much of the ship going on. But you know, when I take my time out and people believe in me, you know what I'm saying, I'll be trying to actually like put the work in and give them what they're expecting or do what they're expecting me

to do. You know what I'm saying, because I know that the opportunity there and it could be bigger than what it really is. You know what I'm saying. Then I saw your crazy as you called smoke big code

up there for the boom, y'all. Like I gotta be serious. Yeah, but you know what I'm saying, thinking something you can you can you can see yourself doing in the future though, Hell yeah, because I know if I liked it with the jeky fans, I know what it's gonna be like and the real Yeah, we had a great time though.

But other than that, man, I just appreciate the opportunity that you know what I'm saying, God keep it in to me, you know what I'm saying to my people believing in me and my support system is just so strong from the streets, from everywhere, you know, said everybody believe in me, they won't be keep going and keep pushing. So I just try to take anything serious and be you know what I'm saying, be there when I need

to be there. You know what I'm saying, the movie seem like like like y'all kind of unifying the truck, Like I see a lot of people in the film though, h yeah, a lot of different people in that film. So the movie really like the movie really just based on the promoter out of Detroit that's entering the rap game trying to blow a sitting there, you know what I'm saying. So you know the type of the ship

dealing with the street ship. So I wouldn't gotta nigg that serious from the other side of the time, and you know you've got some neighborhood niggas that's wrapping you know, just like nowadays, like my ass about it. So me, I'm still trying to keep anything on the level side, Like, man, I get to all this, let me work this ship out,

but everything just keep backfiring, keep backfiring. I'm then I'm working with this crazy as nick name crazy a think just want to keep giving give you a little paper, but don't want to give you all My mother da call me to play. Yeah you did that too, You did that. What's crazy though, is um When I originally wrote this movie, I thought about crush grew. That was my initial thought. About crushing. Yeah, because I felt like Detroit, how we're moving right now? It's my time. So y'all

know me. So, y'all remember when I moved down here ten years ago, like eleven years ago, just working with Za and doing whatever I can. But I left Detroit at the moment where I was really doing a lot of stuff and they looked at me like, how could you? You know what I mean? So I always knew I had to come back and do something. And just seeing how we evolved over these years, how we're seeing T Grizzly Foe two Dug and just cash down all our real people. I say, it's time, But what can I do?

And I said, man, God bought me that spirit. I got to remake a Crush group. Crush grew about somebody who's just really trying to put the city on and you know, it just organically came together like that. It's a lot of movies based out of Detroit, like in the films I'll be watching on Yeah, yeah, we got the Detroit movies got to be on a lot, so you can so you can imagine how for me doing the movies with y'all and going through what I was going through and then hearing back home all of is

they make it going cray. I'm like, wait a minute, how did this dude? He's about seen? So I gotta come back home and throw a hate maker, you know what I mean? If man yeah, buffed up, shout out the films man yeah, shout out, shout out all them guys crazy. I just want to shout out the whole Detroit. You know what I'm saying. Everybody came stood on business, no show love, and everybody wanted to be in the film like we had everybody. A matter of fact, I

want to say, recipe Swisz wanted the dudes. I don't think he meant did sis you at the strip club that night? I don't think you, madam. Yeah, I don't think we got you. You're spoken like so you got this? Yeah, Tills till so he was on the same tail. So it's a couple of people in there that kind of passed the way. You know what I'm saying. They ain't gonna get a chance, but we're gonna make sure their parents get a chance to come out and see saying

that they part. You know what I'm saying, something that they was doing positive. You know what I'm saying. That's what I just I just think though, like this is just a big twenty for the whole city because they're, like he said, the light owners right now. It ain't just with the rap ship. It's just with a lot of ship. And just hopefully she ain't know. Hopefully then when this been takeoff ship, I'm gonna come back to

this and doing nothing. But but I see how you move around each like you get love from East side. Like how you how you managed to like keep away from the bullshit able to just stage neutral to the bullshit Because I'm just me and anywhere on any room when I go in, I'm always gonna beat me. You know what I'm saying. You ain't gotta be like no this side and nigga that side of nigga to get a loan and be cool with you know what I'm saying with both sides of the field. You know what

I'm saying. I'm a mutual nigger. You know what I'm saying. Everybody like me. I'm a genuine person and I respect everybody. I come out respectful. You know what I'm saying. You give respect to get respect. You know what I'm saying that, and I don't never go in on a cricket ship. And everybody know me. I got a good name for where I come from, my background good and I stand on business. You know what I'm saying. I ain't running

around playing like that gangster road. Should everybody be acting like they're playing because if you bought that ship anyway, you know that she gonna speak for it stuff. You know what I'm saying. I wrote all row and I disrespect everybody in movie respectfully. That's it. And everybody just pun with me, you know for sure, you know what I'm saying. I just I build my brand off just being a real nigga, trying to be a real nigger and not codone, no bullish it, you know what I'm saying.

And that's where it comes in there, Like when you got when you just carry yourself that way around everybody, and you could be yourself in any room, you're always gonna stand out there like shit. Same she saw the movie, what you thought when she saw the movie? And when I saw the movie, I didn't really get a chance to see the movie. He kind of heard some of this ship, Like I got like a little bit of a job and didnt you hear a little bit from me?

I got my goodness. But from what I've seen, I did a great job from not going to act to school and all that I said, all the ship that people have to go through to actually be in the movie Ship, I think I did a good job from what I was seeing and ship. Unless he's gonna trying to sun my amag what you're taking serious and trying to take some classes and ship here we are, that should makes sense to sho make dollars. Ship makes sense? You know what? She something great. When when you're doing

something great, money gonna come with it. That's how I feel about it, Like I ain't tripping on the money. The money gonna be there Eventually that she gets where they need to get, then the paper really gonna start being what they supposed to be, you know what I'm saying. Plus, you know we got no money problems? What about what about like the movie? What do you do you know if any situation that can like similar to the movie like that in real life? Like can you can you

think of a real life situation? Yeah? Yeah, that's a that's a it's a it's like that like we were like before this like we had like a little rap ship, like my brothers, my cousin, we was all doing like a little rap ship, like we got one of the we get the one of the biggest songs out of Detroit, like people ain't really know like too much, but she

that been blew up on crazy. I don't know if I never heard like Cooper Street, the mom on the Here Hunter all that ship it's called hands on my brother book East Warren Bo Like we we was going that way, like trying to mess with the music ship. And then it was just so many people and the once the song blew up, everybody like, man, you can start doing this, you can do this, be this on. But I honestly think if they would stay together, I think it could have been bigger. They could have been

bigger than anybody that that came out of that. You know what I'm saying, it's a lot of a lot of these niggas doing really good, like dud See you gotta think ship. That's easy, baby, that's right. See um, it's a lot of baby money. He just got signed. You know, I'm saying, we're on fire right now. But every fact, yeah, Peter signing him, so um, I just think ship, if everybody just keep working together and stick together and this, I think it'll just be like a

better outcome this time. Because you think they had it like as niggers, just like them niggas grind me, niggas Detroit taking this ship. But I think they're on the real on the They on the path they need to be on Detroit on the raft. This movie. Ship might take off with this y'all cooking. I know y'all cooking some skin with y'all cooking, man, I don't know that we're getting ready for it. Yeah, what's the next movie we're working? Man? You thought about trying to write a series, Uh?

I did. I had one out here the line of called bag Man that was up a few years ago. It was crazy. I really want to bring it back. That was one of my favorite projects. I didn't act into nothing. I just wrote and directed it and it was wild. It was about two brothers in the line of cars and hav it um. Yes it's on two B two. I made it into a movie after all

of the what's the names? And this was before powering everything, you know, But I learned a lot making series like you gotta do them, you gotta do five six something at one time. You can't shoot series ever tried you like, man, didn't even know. I turned to Atlanta nigga. Man, yeah, I remember one time. It was weird, was real weird. Was like about a year and a half ago. Right, I had to come, I had to go home and

do something. And I've seen cash down with the car wash and she was on the east side of my hood. So as soon as I got out and put up on her. As soon as I get out, it was a typical detrait nigga. Nke what up nigga? You know with Thelanta Nias nigga, you know what it is. We had cut down, never matter all the but he going off on a lianta but in't directly cutting in the meat. So as a Detroit nigger, you gotta know how to

respond to that, you know what I'm saying. So the only way that I could go back to that is like, yeah, nigga, what the funk up, Let's go kill a nigga. Let's go the noes like this, and to make him say, oh, yeah, nigga, you still the same thing, okay, you know, but Detroit moved like that. We we like that, bro, they's just real weird. Detroit really love Altes. So that's the first place. Uh, first play, any nigga say as soon as he get a shootout, fire anything about to go down there, oka't

wait to do it. Yeah, well I got big so side bay, we said, we asked him about his uh what started five? Would he create like got Detroit Rappers, New Detroit Rappers? So I want to see y'all perspective on that, Like what would be y'all starting five if you're going to bus ass and win the championship out of Detroit starting five goat rappers. When we heard, yeah I miss you, I ain't missing T. I ain't missing t T my man, tarn side of my man. You know what I'm saying there with all of them, you

know what I'm saying. But my start in five, Yeah, we needed we need these niggas in order, these nigs, yeah, I want them in order. I need him in order. Never like start stop starting with eminem to everybody. I don't think everybody you gotta draft five will out of your champion. Yeah, okay, honestly I was. Okay, let me tell you some personally, like some real ship. I don't even listen to him. I don't listen. I ain't gonna come on these business You ever listen, Oh, it's just

it's just m Have you ever listened to him? I don't heard some music and some songs and shou I am not riding around listening to it's a new area like we this, that's what we listened exact same. There's no disrespect. We just want to know your five five. Don't disrespect. All right, let's say, um number five, number five, number five, um five. Let's go on, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go. One was one was one here

on fire right now. You gotta give it, dood dog on fire right now, point guard, dug two, I'm gonna say, te been going, he's still I'm still like his ship. Three, you gotta say, I gotta go. It's between you pace and so between them two them three and four like them too, them too, like three and four and then senter center. Oh yeah, pe easy, gotta go center. So if you had a six man, who with the six man b my brother for sure, I gotta put my brother in the game. You gotta come out the bench.

But as he respect coming off the beach because he's gonna hes gonna play like Little Will. He's gonna be six Man of the Year, off the bitch or not perform. But if he took it serious, he would be. He would be in the top five. But for sure he would be. And my cousin Kato, I gotta mention because them to it like this, Come on, you gotta do it. Let's let's buckle up and together. Well it's crazy because I've been in a lot of errors. On one of that, I feel like I'm one of the founders a Detroit

starting to really rap and pop off right. So I'm gonna tell you from my aspect, i feel like I'm gonna go. It's gonna be hard. We're gonna catch slack, of course, but it I'm gonna go. I'm standing on this. I'm gonna go I've been sucking with folks too lately. I ain't gonna lie fox with him, so I'm gonna put him in. At this point, I got the rock with my baby Bezo that yeah, yeah, my bad, yeah yeah. I'm gonna put easy because because I I funk with that peasy music, I ride off that ship crazy. That

is the way to get heavy. I don't know this next nigger. I don't know which one. He got to be a hard nig I'm gonna go with Sean. I'm gonna ride my baby, break my baby. But I gotta go with Big Sean. And I don't even shine, that's my baby. But you're saying to go up against my business to go Sean didn't give me him, you know what I mean. Hey, I'm standing on that. You know what I mean. I'm standing on that sixth man out there,

one more ship. Well let him answer. You got to write my baby and Ray in the movie, you know what I mean. But I gotta give it to this nigga over over seniority stripes test the time, kind of a little brick. I would give it to Royce, but I gotta give it to pay Roll. Yeah, and you know, I shout out dark on everybody the home. I got it, Yeah, I got it. The thing about it. If it was easy, then,

I mean, y'all ain't got nothing going on. Hard to pick. Yeah, I mean I've been in where it was nothing, when it was zero, when it was me trick tricking, like I think bombshell or somebody. It was like three rappings. They thought we was crazy as hell going out here rapping because they was like, Yo, what is y'all doing? Like we love who we love? Who's on the radio.

You know what I mean. He's been going crazy. I believe we had to go, like to be hones, we had to go top team, football team, everybody like you said, t b he going crazy. He got a whole bunch of ship. He's been dropping And I ain't gonna loe to you. I kind of there's shows have been up there. Hell yeah, I and my ship kind of like I can't say so you're swapping then smoke? What you swapping something out of your five speak. I'm gonna be honest with you for show the show, Like there's gotta be

in there. There's gotta be in that top five. Somebody going to get bumped down because I ain't hold it, don't even bust. I ain't gonna bump nobody. I'm just being honest though, because there's actually I see the as elevator from yeah, coming back still working. It's a lot of gay that ship and going independent and working real hard. You know what I'm saying, Like that's real ship. Like, Yeah,

there's a lot of losing ship. Yeah, type, but you know what's important though, yards and always tell them all because I know him all. Like I said, from young the old, I tell him, you know, let's stay hungry though, you know what I mean, Let's stay hongry because it's a lot of real estate that we still need to get and it's a marathon. So let's not. Let's not let's not get it too excited. Let's not start beefing with each other. Let's not start doing the petty tip

for that. That's why when you look at this Detroit Dreams movie, you're gonna see brothers that really don't even rock with each other like that, but they in the movie. You see, oh you see new I put the old rappers that was with the new rappers. That's what makes this movie so great is that you're gonna see a sense of the whole cultural of Detroit. I guarantee you they're gonna watch this movie twenty years down the line to find out what's the culture of Detroit, what's the sound,

what it's like. They're gonna go to this this movie. I got a question for y'all. I asked that back first, understand life. I want to hear top five. This ain't this, This ain't got hing to do with accolades. It's my personal exactly. Okay, I gotta put point pluto, this ain't point ain't even know or you gotta do the one like you told us. Point guard Pool Okay, point guard. I'm going, baby, Okay, I'm going. I'm going saven. I gotta put four Gucci. Gotta do you know I'm buying

sick dudo. Who are you gonna go after that? You can't go puto baby sinner. I gotta put them in. I gotta put them. No fire, I gotta put the fire. But I got tinted. But my six man, that's your coat, six man, I gotta go tip, okay, six man, tip, that's hard man. I gotta go. That's hard screen where you ladyship, everybody, everybody know you right here? Come on, we need that point guard. Okay, so the point guard. I'll say, baby, okay, Um, shooter, I say a little man,

I say savage, shooter, the same thing. Jay. We gotta come on, but this this is real life right here, we're dealing with right now. Alan okay, um, what's after the shooter? The point guard? I mean small forward. It's like your Lebron slime okay, slime um Um power Forward, Power Forward, Pluto power for a Pluto Um center. I would have to say, what did you say? Nobody got to get you to say, you're forget about so many of your family members. So I don't matter. She's going

to win center. She's going to win center Um Center. I gotta go with walk. You can't do the same five brother, brother sister. But I gotta, I gotta, I got, I got like some extra players. We really gotta got a hun dreams and strong. I got a seventh and eighth man. You can't do. That's hard to do because I'm moving our personal opinion. It really hard to peak. But my coach to win is that you you want to win. You did George the wind Right six win.

I didn't mind to win, come on screen. I just wanted my question backfired on me today on big facts that I wanted to come up with an excuse the first nigga. If you're going to draft the first nigga right now, you're going to draft. In my opinion, this baby for sure, you got brick um. After that, you gotta go grab plutough Okay, shoot guard after that, because we all agree we know what he brings to the city and to the table. Savage, all right, that's when

this winning get to. Oh me, get my goat out the way so that all them niggas can just be mad. I don't get my goat out the way. I ain't got no team without Drake three Stacks. I just don't. That's respect to everybody. That's just my team to win. You know what I'm saying, Three Stacks, that's your forward. Got about that we could put We could put that there and then uh, that's tough. Them three names tough. I feel like I feel like you're trying to make

us choose between two Gucci and Jeezy. That's what I feel like you're doing. Said a strong center. Nothing, Oh strong center. You gotta have a strong we're saying wins when we're playing now, we're playing now now, nothing saying. Don't know what I'm saying, it's your team to go win. It don't matter what it is he's doing right now, that right not doing my days the time right now? For sure, I would still go get Dre three something Dray three stacks doing. Ain't gonnas. The three Stacks might

not even show up. Ship what if you do show up, you might not need to show But if he do show up, he don't even want to enter the dray

to complete your list. Everybody got the same list, Yeah except d three stacks and then he really ain't no six man, he just spending That's my same list, basically the same three yea I'm saying when I'm saying, I put them against anything, anybody, anytime, any other all my money, anytime, with all my money, we're gonna take out who We're going who's gonna take out who We're gonna a something. I'm gonna say this, Jesus really trade anyway, we just take them over said we want to trade Jesus to

the trade. Who gonna not not not? I got a lot of money to Jesus music though I can't even But when when we're asking about opinions and y'all put us on the spot, you know we can can we can turn around and do producers too. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, we want to pop out. We didn't do producers all us like the music industry, like y'all got a a star fucking teams, because I mean, we do actually have that option. We can do producers, engineers, photograph, studio,

whatever hell may in the movie. He just before you start a producer to that, I'm saying like like hell hell,

like I want to let everybody know this on my downfall. Yeah, like so we everybody always be talking like I won't be hearing his name, and too many interviews when his name should come up, and there in the every interview with that nigga, do because hellover he put he get like from my knowledge of everybody, I nig's coming to me, my perspective of them and how they painted on me, to me, they like he lay it out like huh

and then whatever it be, it be. It just blessed me when they get when you get right, you know what I'm saying, do that with like my people, and I know my people want to know where near started all these other niggas. You know what I'm saying, So I know if he did that for them, that nigga that just walking in like hey, yeah, y'all had this beat. You know what I'm saying, do y'all thing that's love.

And then as big as he is, like damn, like he giving that like he blessing and he then like the name my brother, and just I put Andre three thousand. That's the coach. Well do you asked about coach comfort, that's my coach. Coach coach because he said, I go big shine as the going trip trigger. Okay, crazy, I'm going to triggers my coach. You got no beach, y'all. St y'all got two meet the weapons, y'all. Come on, man, you're not Russia like a hit power poper New York.

It was just talking about I was just talking about the who got love for New York? We got love for l A. A lot of ain't nobody sucking jay z ain't got they got they got people for sure if ain't nobody. So the megos when you'll top group when thinking, I ain't saying outcast, I said, said Drake. When I say like rapping, I think like this, like you did group or not? Three people can't play one just satified too many niggas from around my way. This big for me to pick anything else, right right right,

look at what was the best around? Who was the best group collaps in Atlanta? Who was the best like one of like like like you gotta think y'all got like the lego who I'll cash you guys, get you got the horrid boys do all I'm gonna say outcast group, I'm gonna say good. That's what I'm gonna do. That's me.

I know what question is to get y'all because I've been living in Atlanta for a long time, So I would you interview about Detroit Ski but you want to get back to that Smoke shout out to helleb because he did do the sound for the movie. So shout off the hell of like, no, no politics, nothing like. That's APTI simming. You know what, man, Detroit dreams. Just PI. Shout out to everybody from Detroit. Man. You know what I'm saying. And y'all better be there. Man come out

with June first. So it's up and thanks the big facts man. Appreciate it all. Yea, man, get out of you. I just say, I just I just want to say, like, shout out to Tape because he's doing a lot with the baby, Like he working a lot with Baby and he's also playing one of the main characters Flight in

the movie. That's like he's him and Smoke. It's like they really you know, together, life got a lot of stuff saying the show, and I know he's working how he's working because he actually be sitting at me that ship and I'll be seeing it, so I know. But when he dropped ship, they're gonna see you know what I'm saying. But we're just talking about because you know, everybody be on these interviews and all this ship, so you know, don't take it to her. You know what

it's and you did. You gotta work. And if when your work, your work on. What's gonna speak for itself? Where we shout at? Oh sound yeah, Playground Detroit, O the Society's how to society shout out to Playground Detroit or everybody you know that even let it's use they being used to even shoot a part of the fan. You know what I'm saying. From the West, Luke had all these crazy ass spots. He had me on anybody smoke.

I want to tell him to a disclaimer that everybody around the world know that here's so much bad stuff about Detroit. Like Bank can tell you. It's like who you with, it's how you move you like people be. You could be scared going to Detroit, but you could

be with the right person. And you could be treated like a god like you know what I mean literally like bro, like nothing, ten niggas will get in front of your body if something was to happen just because you were a certain nigga or you could be with a fun nigga. And I just seen situations when niggas come to the city with the wrong nigga and being something might happen to them and they're like, well, how

did that happens? Because you with this nigga? It was like Detroit ain't violent and wild like people may say, it's just all about who you with because it's small, so people know who the funk with, who not to funk with, Like how he moved, how we move, they ain't ain't none of that. I would actually be moving. I actually move around the city like how you move around the city. Yeah, I'm outside like you know what

I'm saying, very east, west, east anywhere. I can go really anywhere and like be like comfortable because I ain't worry because I ain't know nigga. That's too much bullish it and it ain't with all but they're no on with whatever. Man, I'm a man. You know what I'm saying. You know I'm standing on tire like so if it ever comes to the town where it gotta be, where it gotta be, it's gonna be. But they got to

be even. But I think every city got that. Like I come here, you know what I'm saying, I come out, I know a lot. And most of these times you see me with RELs, I'll be with you, Pat, you know what I'm saying. Or my uncle, you know what I'm saying this, you know see it. I'm really just she you know how she got connected dots. Man, It's good to know people in East State. Everybody got savages of the city. That's how I shouted to the dude, game of the close to what's the name of Yeah, yeah, yeah,

yeah yeah Rugged, Yeah yeah yeah. I ain't get nothing. Yeah, I'm closed on the real He get his ship samee badly and it's in the details, man. Yeah, shout out Rugged, Man, shout baby. Jerry risk too. Because she's been working too. She got a whole bunch of ships. She's been pushing out. She gave, she gave with a whole bunch of clothes. You probably ain't getting another dream, Rish, I just got something. You're the top female wrapper from comment Natasha shout out, Matasha,

I gotta get talk about cars down. I mean she's maybe like you out of there, like like, but who are coming? Who're going crazy? Leally um see mattases she'll be working Rocky, Yeah, Rocky going crazy too, Rocky been going like working real hard. Ship. What other female rapper that girl named brill? I think that's if if that's her name, crazy name, she's been going crazy niece in the shay. Have y'all love her to her go crazy?

It's a lot of it's a lot of you know what I'm saying, Well, you know we paid more attention to like if you ain't big like Cash basically, like if you ain't really in the city, you ain't gonna really here too much because you know, being a girl rapping, you know, it's kind of hard taking off. But you catch that motherfucking hit, you're gonna be where you're supposed to be because Cash her ship hit when she know what I'm saying, one restaurant for the rest of your

life in Detruitt with it, bem. I gotta do this. I gotta do this because I know it's gonna take care of me. I'm gonna go with cousinos and they're gonna be mad at They're gonna be mad at me. Yeah, bbs, I mean cousins. And I know you're gonna I'm gonna say, I'm actually saying my own rest of me. Yeah, Tom's real. That's what I eat for the rest of my life. Yeah, let me ask you all the question. Is Cathy still open? Yes? Shout out Kathy strictly sports where we actually shot in

front of their so again. She was the first person that the first place that I went to when I took like the magazines to Detroit, and she like I ran through her ship, Like I ran through like thirty boxes of magazines in like two days. They're like home right. Yeah. I got a lot of money with her. I got a lot of money with her. It was important for me to bring people like that in the movie. Like when I take this movie, it's such a blessing. God God made it. I didn't. I didn't. I didn't do it.

God did it. Because I was like people like her and her buildings and people like the new you know, the new people that's moving right now. Man, it's all of them connected and blended in from people that they even know each other, you know, from thirty years ago, and they all planet seeds, like you said, important people like that. I can pick those people saying I want you here. You They're like, what the hell for? What new? I don't even know? I just do this and it

all came together. If I was watching the movie for inspiration motivation? What type of inspiration motivation I get from the move? How? What? Excuse me? What footprint do you want to leave on this earth? We all got to ask ourselves that, and that's a real life question. What type of footprint are you leaving? You know? And they can go either way. So that's what I would hope that you know that you you take this movie and say, Okay, I need to be an inspiration not only to myself

but to somebody else. I need to inspire because it's bigger than me. Did you did you watch the movie? You've seen? Nope? Nope, nobody seen it. Like about you coming to Detroit with like how was your experience coming there? Like you know what I'm saying, I ain't get a chance to stay ble to day. I'm saying, like people coming to me and you know, no, no, no, no, I'm feeling them busting love. I ain't see what what y'all say, NA say, I don't see that. I guess

I ain't go to the right part. I ain't see that. I just seen love. Niggas fucking with me right up the right niggas. Is that that's what it's about. That's what I think is about, like when you go to different cities, about who you would and how they carry

themselves in the city. You know what I'm saying. If you go with the motherfucker that's the only game ship doing about doing wild ship and shooting killing all that time, ship, then you got you gotta know what you expect when you touched down, Like I'm gonna be with you there, I better have a strap, you know, you know what's coming like that anyway. But even even even at the club, like four o'clock, I'm outside by myself, old time man, it was that I say, makes you know you here?
