That's what that's what up? Herbro? Man? You you were like one of the most requested, if not the most requested guests for Big Facts, So welcome.
You know what I'm saying. To look forward to that conversation myself. I ain't gonna requested, are you if you're a fan fan of the show like you. So that's the coaching man, I asked you, Man, I ain't gonna wanted to pull up. I ain't never really like requesting myself to go on those ships. I ain't gonna that, Big Bro, I tell you. I used to tell him like myself, like, man, I need to do that ship. Man, come we do? Yeah? Yeah, absolutely, new project going crazy.
You know what I'm saying. Congratulations on that. What's on Herbo mind to day? Man? Today? Man, I'm just chilling, man. I just want to pick my son up right now? Something that evo this ship? Okay, you know I not coming to in line. I'll really be hanging out for real unless I win my son and ship. So I just put up right here because that's the home team, you know, and PU up right here. What's the spot should be working with when you're in the eight time ship?
Couple of cold, cop of cold? Right, shout the rugs. They got everything up there, man Ni took old bucket right, they got the white boy in place. Now they do whatever right right? Yeah? Yeah, that's all it too. Yeah, running up him a couple of dollars now, I know exactly what we're talking about. Two pie boyshit too boy.
Recently you showed a lot of loves Nicki minajh who gave you, I guess, your first big co sign of feature and you were saying ship like you know what I'm saying, she harder than a lot of male rappers and all that ship and also that I guess that you know a feature from Nicki Minaj's Life Change And who else do you think outside of Nicki Minaj has like that life changing feature ability? Um Drake for yeah drake,
UM should a couple of artists. It just depend on like what you do with and how you do it, you know what I'm saying. Whole that could be a life change situation. A lot of people like Meet the Future thug, A lot of that ship could change your life.
It just depends on how you position you know what I'm saying the record for real, but yeah, yeah, I feel like the right coach in the right coach sine and definitely take you all the way over the top for show and then do you see yourself in the space of blessing maybe some other Chicago artists or other people too, because you kind of in that situation too. Jehr wo get you that coach sign. You know what
I'm saying. Yeah, Yeah, for sure. It's a bunch of artists like and it's really not down yourself down like Savage one of them artists that you can coach you and take you over the top. Um. I feel like I could do it too though. I feel like I'm definitely one of them artists that could. You know what I'm saying, I did it be photo, you know, like not is with just a feature just a coaching Like
a lot of artists are coming out of Chicago. I would like CoA sing or play their music and laughing ship, and then it was just really like pipe their whole movement, you know what I'm saying. But I feel like it's really like that's just one part of it. Though. You gotta have the talent for sure, though, you know what I'm saying. You gotta have the talent people. The people gotta funk with your movements. So I feel like CoA sage,
that's just that's easy. If if my fucking real and they're gonna rock with you, we don't really cost no money. Like I don't really be trying to do it like just coaching somebody ship or play somebody ship to kind of position myself to benefit off this ship, you know, so I'll really be funking with it. Like a lot of times, like my team and home, these people around me like, man, you've got to stop doing that. But it's like for what ship, And I'm just showing love.
I want to see niggas win, you know what I'm saying, that's what you really do it. Like a lot of times I didn't actually wanted to sound artists and play their ship and then then signing them and I ain't never had no bad blood and no ill feelings, and then towards them, you know, I just I funked with it. I genuinely funk with it. So you was doing something right to even make me want to playoff, you know
what I'm saying. That's what it's about for real. So when you drive PTSD that was like your first top ten entry and then now that you drop debuted at number five on the list, So how do what do you feel like is your growth from the ptsd s in the well really from welcome to Phase I landed to the PTSDs and like, what do you think? How
do you think you evolved from then to now? Really it's just I feel like I just stayed solid through anything, you know, because when I dropped my first project, well from the phase on land, I was like seventeen years old like that. Yeah, I was young at hill, but I was really like in the streets more so than anything, you know. So I like, it's a lot of ship that comes in the like behind the scenes of the industry, a lot of adversity and a lot of ships you
gotta overcome, especially being independent. I've been independent the whole time. I've been an artist, so I had I felt like I took the long route, you know. Yeah, the more I've been through ship and overcame and I grew as a man. You know what I'm saying that the more I grew as a man, I grew as an artist. So I feel like that was really the difference, and
it reflected through my music. I never had like one record, a big record that just blew me up and turned me to this big style overnight, and no ship like that. You know. I always just did good business and just whether the storm because I go through a lot of ship behind closed doors, like in the industry, you know what I'm saying, whether it's just ironing out you know,
ship on internally with my business. Really Like one of the toughest things I did, though, was leaving the streets for real and just chasing only music, you know what I'm saying, Like separating myself from a lot of ship, a lot of negative ship, a lot of my homies, you know what I'm saying, And and they had nothing to do with like no bad blood and none. I just felt like I was so deep in the streets, so I couldn't really grow stayed in my same environment,
I wouldn't be where I'm at right now today. So I had to take a real step back from like everything you know, and and my music grew Like that was around the time I dropped a Humble Beasts, which is my first album, and I felt like I grew as an artist, like my music mature the ship like that, So just them different transitions. Then I had a son around that time, and I just started to grow. And I feel like my music the more I grow, you could tell through my music, you know what I'm saying.
I feel like I go through a lot of like dark ship behind closed door that I don't really talk about on the internet, you know, ship like that, you know what I'm saying. And I just locked myself in the studio like when I'd be stretched out and going through ship. I just isolate myself from anything and go to the studio every day and just put it in my music. That ship like a former therapy for me, you know what I'm saying. So I feel like every time I do that, I just blossom through music, you
know what I'm saying. And with with two five, I went through like a lot of ship, you know what I'm saying. My little brother, dad and Jane weary. I was just falling back from that. I had a baby, you know what I'm saying, Another son I just head and made, so like just getting into that transition of my life, you know what I'm saying. With like they could be stressing it facing trauma and still having to go home and be a boyfriend and be a father and be a son and an artist and all this.
You gotta put on a certain face for everybody in the world, but behind closed doors could be really like selling a weight, like realistic. So I like, I'll just be trying to not let that ship rub off on nobody. Like I don't want my girl to be feeling the pain on feeling that day, or my mom or my kids and all that. So in order to do so, I gotta like make a sacrifice and take that time away from them until I get myself together, you know what I'm saying. And then the only thing that makes
me feel good is doing music. So I feel like that's why my music reflect that, you know so much, So like all the stuff that you were going through and all the stuff that you've been through, like from growing up and even that you still go through as an adult. Was that kind of like the catalyst that
made you start the swerving through stress last year? Yeah? Yeah, I did that because when I go back home, I'll be seeing it like I see myself and my homies and ship like and so much like in so many of the kids that I interact with on the day to day. You know what I'm saying. Like I used to listen to nobody. I've been rapping so I was sixteen years old, you know. So I've been on my same team, my same being a partner, my same manager,
all of sixteen years old. I always had like good solid people around me, but I still deal what I wanted to do. You know what I'm saying. I had my partner, I had and they is invested in me. When I was a kid sixteen years or I was still in the streets like dugging, I could have died. I went to jail any date, you know what I'm saying. And I wasn't really thinking about nothing but myself. It's nothing nobody could have told me or could have gave me no advice that just would have made me leading
streets because that's all I wanted to do. I love it so we're saying that I'm trying to say, like, kids don't really listen until it's either somebody gonna have to show them that they really care enough to make them want to have another alternative. You know what I'm saying, Like you could telling oh, no, you go dad, go to jail in the streets. Everybody know that, you know what I'm saying, Like everybody knows what they up against when they really in it and putting themselves in these
environments and in the lane of fire every day. But what's your alternative? You can't have no kid like or a grown man, nobody. You can't have nobody who this all they know you want them to change their life around the blink of an average Right, You're trying trying to tell a nigger like no, this this You know what I'm saying. But like, even though I had talent and I was doing music the whole time, and I felt like I could make it, but the only thing that I felt was working for me was being in
the streets. I felt the safest in the streets. I felt like I was the most It was the most beneficial for me. That was the only way I knew how to make some money. You know what I'm saying, Like I want making money off wrap when I was seventeen years old for real, Like it wasn't enough for me to just dedicate myself straight to it and swerting through stress. Idea that because I feel like kids listen to me, especially in Chicago, like because they know I
really come from that, you know what I'm saying. I already made a name for myself in the streets before I was like this big artist, So a lot of people really know me out there, you know what I'm saying. So for me to be able to come back and they see, I got ship that's tangible, I got property in Chicago. I got to school in Chicago, and I'm twenty five years old, and they seeing me like then it's possible. And I'm telling them like now I only want to come back and motivate you because I was once.
You know what I'm saying, you could do the same ship. You know, I didn't went to the jails and ship like that, and a lot of time, like I just look at the kids, they don't really listen to nobody. And then I come and talk to him and then they had to like one time this kid told me like, man, I got juvenile life, and as soon as I get out of jail, I'm going right right to the joint. Man, they ain't no hope for me. And I'm like, that's
what they want you to think. They really want you to feel like it's no way for you to ever overcome any of the ship you're going through. You know what I'm saying. That that's why I started that initiative. If you feel me, because it ain't just about me. I don't want to go I name my son ESSs
Man after my block. I don't want to go back to my hood if I can't bring my kids over there, if I can't make that ship good enough for me to be able to stand out there, and I have to carry no gun when I'm thirty five forty years old and ain't when I'm doing this ship. You know what I'm saying, And it's about putting the resources back into it, putting the resources back into the community. I
know rappers, I know NBA players, I know engineers. Like that's why the building we got we're gonna turn into a multi media facility because it's like nigger got the resources, we got everything that we could put back into the community. I could have my homeies. Are you fucking me? Let's go back and just talk to these kids about engineering.
To talk to these kids about the ends and outs, going to play pro basketball or college basketball on the high level, or you know, just produce production, whatever it is, whatever your specialty, whatever your specialty is, just go back and just not even just showing them how to do it, but just letting them see and feel. You like, that ship a different feeling from seeing somebody on the internet and then being right in front of you and they're like, oh damn, it's a real nigga too. He actually a
real person. Like people really looking at us and feel like we superheroes because we're on the internet and we get you know, we regular people. Like if you go and have a regular conversation with somebody, that ship could really change their life. You know what I'm saying that I learned that just off experience. You feel me. So that's why that ship like just as important as the music to me. For what was that one moment, oh, one thing that happened to made you feel like I
can do this ship? Um Man, I ain't gonna lie really and I ain't even just saying like on the other ship. Like really, when when Nikki flew me to l A, like she actually flew me to l A for real and just hit me in the studio over there and like telling me like, no, I only reached out to you because I funk with you, like I really like your flows and all this ship. That ship inspired me to make this song. And I'm like me,
that ship really tricked me out. So when I did the song with the ship came out like a success for real. And then she brought me out for summer jam and I'm going back home and it's like my whole world changed a little bit because I was still in the streets. Don't get me wrong, but like just the reaction I get from people just made me feel like it inspired me to feel like I know, I gotta do this ship. I gotta do it no for real, Like everywhere I went, like everything anybody interacted with, the
reaction was different. Like the police are treat me different, all kinds of ship. Like I used to get breaks from the police didn't want to lock me up no more. They asked me all type of goofy asked questions. He was so nicknas, I asked some fanship you know, so it kind of like it made me feel like I don't really feel like I was there yet, but I'm like these people really acknowledging me, like I could really
get there, you know what I'm saying. And that was a lot that it was definitely like a game changing for me. Like and I always was like humble and modest. I never really lived at no moment, so I wasn't even tripping, like I felt good about having a song.
But when I went back on North and to go right back into the same environments you feel, I'm saying, But it's just the reaction that I got from people going to the studio, people are really teping, like no, you were stopped, but made you just say fun that
I gotta leave. I gotta leave to sit. Man, I ain't gonna allow I was getting too much trouble bro I was like going to jail and getting the chasing and ship with the police all the time, like every day though, like every single day, you know what I'm saying. And then yeah, I'm like, man, I can't do it for real. Like I was probably like nineteen going on twenty years old, and I had just bought my mama house. I bought my mama house in the suburbs, and I
was still like just in the streets for real. So I go outside, I gotta travel thirty minutes just to get to my hood because my mama lives so fine.
Now I'm like, well, I don't even having to go. Well, I don't even driving thirty minutes to go being some boyshit, you know what I'm saying, Like, I really like, as soon as I get over there, police locking, niggers up, I'm getting the hash to be chases and all types of crazy ship and I ain't like it was just one last little situation where I'm like, I can't keep
doing this ship. I know for a fact if I just keep on like just putting myself in these environments and these situations, I know for a fact, like I'm gonna just I'm gonna go to gym, I'm just not gonna like this ship gonna be bad. You know, you know you had that dark cloud over your head. That's
what it is. The show. I ain't gonna laughing. And I was saying in my head, like, man, I can't keep on just ignoring my blessing for real like nigger catching blessing every day, every single day, like every single day, and I'm like, man, hell, all this sho don't work like that. This ship chance, this ship ain't changed because I ain't fenna be just keep coming outside and feeling like I'm the lucky one. Like I'm just not going to jail or getting shot. No ship because I'm lucky. Damn.
What's some ship that when you sit by yourself, you just get depressed about like, um, thinking about my little brother though, right go that right now. He passed away in January. January. I'll be thinking about him a lot because that ship wasn't really for him. I ain't a lot Like sometimes I'll be feeling like a nigga did something to him just to hurt me. Yeah, that should be like fucking me up a lot. Yeah, ready, that'd be the most ship though, you know what I'm ship
how shaking? I don't know. I was drinking a lot. I went into like a slump, like a real like just emotional slump, just drinking all day. And they're going to the studio drink and drink and drink and drinking because like I can't smoke no more. And that's what I That's what I do. I'm a smoker. So it's like I just felt like I needed some stuff and
to like balance because I'm angry. You know how you go through some shing and you'd be like everything just makes you think about it, like Nigga smile and laugh having fun. You like, what the funk I'm having phone? You know that's fun? Up when you gotta think like that, like you can't even really smile and enjoy yourself because you're like, what I got to smile about? And I
got everything and to smile about. Nigga really blessed, you know, So just thinking about that, should I have to like lead a house three four in the morning, go right,
just to get that shot out of me? Because like, you know, being around my girls, like she understands, but as a man, like I just feel like as a man, bro, you can't really even complain about and that's that's not good either, Like you can't really complain about your situation or complain about being stressed out, because at the end of the day, I feel like, don't nobody really like you the man? You know you're supposed to be stress you out? You gotta let it O gotta let it out.
I do that. I feel like I do that, and I grieve on my own time because at the end of the day, she and my bills ain't gonna stop coming. My kid ain't gonna stop crying when you need milk, you know what I'm saying. My girl ain't gonna stop wanting attention and affection and ship like that. But like how you're gonna be able to get her at if you can't even get to yourself, you know what I'm saying,
get anybody there. So I just feel like I got to isolate myself to get that ship out and then come back and be the man I'm supposed to be, you know what I'm saying. But that was probably like one of my biggest heartbreaks for real though, Like even being in the streets, I then lost a lot of ship bro a lot that felt a lot of pain. But just that right there just made me feel like, damn,
how important is like to have a right female? Oh no, it's super important for show because you know, you know, big broke, because it's like a woman don't really understand because, like I said, you're not gonna tell them everything. You're not gonna tell him that when you leave this house, you gotta go swell with sharks, and you gotta go broke all these bad deals and go hang around niggers. They're really like, love you, but don't love you for really.
You gotta come back home. You want to feel peace. You want to steal your woman being there for you. You know what I'm saying. I got that. I ain't gonna lie. I definitely got that. And it's important to play a big part of that. Make you want to go out and hustle so you can just bring it right back to hook, you know what I'm saying. And a lot of times women don't really understand that you gotta do that, so you gotta tell them a little bit. So you gotta tell them what you're up against when
you leave a house. But just if they're not nurturing on their own, they had never really get it, Like you know what I'm saying, No matter what you tell or how much you try to think, for you getting the question, I got a question didn't even answer. She's like if she ain't really got it, it's nothing you could do to tell her to make her want to. You know what I'm saying, make you feel good when you get home. She just gotta want to be that person for you important though. I ain't gonna lie though.
It's like, and that's so funny you're saying that just being around, Like, yeah, that's that's my girl. We you know, we affectionate, but it's like we are you talk ship were cool same way, Like growing in the house with
your sister like that for real. So it's like, so with having a girl and with also having like a child with somebody else that you used to be involved in prior to your current relationship, how do you balance like the relationship between your current girlfriend and your child's mother, Like what advice would you give to niggas, like as to how to be able to bring a happy medium to the middle and make everybody get along. For the most part, you just gotta be the man. You know.
You can't take nothing personal, especially like women emotions, because women gonna be like like ocean, women gonna say what they feel and a man gonna say what you mean? You know what I'm saying. So it's like you gotta think about that. Like, even when you emotionally want to say something, you gotta take a step back think about it like, no, hell no, it's cool. You ain't wrong. I don't vault you for how you feel, to fault
you for how you feel. But at the end of the game, it's all about ship, being a family for real. You know what I'm saying, regardless of the fact, regardless if I'm with my baby mama not, that's still my family because that's my son mama. You know what I'm saying. In the family i'm building, it's my family because it's the family I'm building, you know what I'm saying. So at the end of the day, it's all about just
being a family. And I feel like if you're if you're a real nigg and you can do right by your kids, it's nothing no woman gonna be able to do a safe for real. They're gonna like unless you're playing with the emotions, you're still as you're transparent about everything, really them, you can't funk them. You can't play with the emotions at all, you know what I'm saying. But you just gotta do right by your kids though, you know what I'm saying, Like it ain't a lot of ship.
You're a growth. It ain't got to be no personal relationship or nothing like that. But at the end of the day, if you're gonna stand on your job and your business as a man to take care of your kids, they're not gonna never do now you that, you know what I'm saying. So it's like, all right, we could be friends, and we don't got to be friends. But at the end of the day, it's my job and I'm just do it to you know, I'm saying, the best of my ability, and it shouldn't really be no
drama after that. For real, how hard how hard it being you're just like a young nig in this ship and to get the respect that you're trying to get, you know what I'm saying, How hard is that? That's probably the toughest ship. For real, that's the toughest part because it's like right now in the world we live in, people respect like look, they respect look money and same
actual over like over actual respect. You know what I'm saying that, I feel like being a real nigga, you ain't gonna never really get the respect that you deserve with the respect that you feel you need because it ain't a lot of people like that that's gonna understand the way you're moving and gonna get respect youself being solid because niggas ain't solid and you know that, Like you know what I'm saying. How do a nigga void like being in the in the in the jury competition
like nigga's buy what they want to buy? But you know sometimes when a new watch come again, got it exactly if you do? How do a nigga void that type ship? You gotta like see you gotta avoid that just back, like you gotta just be solid, like ain't no competition for real. You gotta have your own style and not be no competition because at the end of the day, it's it depends on what type of nigga you is. I know, I come from literally nothing like
I'm from the real lie trenches. I'm a real street nigga. I ain't even probaly supposed to be here for real, but I'm supposed to be here because I worked to be here so and ruined my man. I'm supposed to be in it, but what I was up against, I ain't supposed to be here. So when you think about ship like that, it's like, who is to tell me that I ain't winning? Because I ain't got this watch or this cop. My mamma got a million dollar house. I got a multimillion dollar house. I get six cars.
Say I watch this tend million change. Like how they're gonna tell me that I ain't winning because I ain't got the same amount of ship he got. You know what I'm saying, you got this, this is what you here in the music because that ship, like nigga saying that ship, that's real ship. It is real ship. Because it's like nigga, look at you like, oh, you ain't doing this. You ain't doing that because you ain't this way, and the nigga tell you that that ain't got none
of this ship. You know what I'm saying, Like nigga, who got everything and you're still a real nigger, but you got everything. You're not gonna look at the nigga like I don't know. I can't fun with him because he ain't got what I got. Sometimes you just need to get around certain people to position yourself to have. Like everybody got their own time. It might take you five teen years to be able to afford whatever you want, but at least I go forward some ship, I go
do what I want to do. When I want to do it. You know what I'm saying. It shi a real competition though, like a nigga look at you like you ain't that nigga, or they ain't gonna respect you because you ain't gonna do this this then the third you know what I'm saying. But at the end of the day, it's like, shoot, all I did was keep it solid. I didn't took care of myself, my mama, all my my homies in position to go in like
I ain't the only one with no watch. All my niggas got watches, change cars, all this ship, you know, so I could go have every other paddock richer meal. But at the end of the day, it's all it's three four other millionaires with me right now that could pick the tablet right now and pay for this ship. So a lot of times people like they want to position their selves higher than their position other people. You
know what I'm saying. I ain't never really been one of the people, you know, And I think that's why I just it take me longer and take people longer to get up on my ship, and they're like, funk with it, because I ain't trying to make you funk with it. You know what I'm saying, it's just this ship for who. What's fun? So like if you had to pick yeah, you know that don't sell itself? Yeah, I gotta do it. Just chill past this ship out the Who. It's fold and they're gonna come back for
They're gonna advertise it for you. But if you had to pick like five people to go on the Chicago rap rushmore, who would they be? Um for Chicago to be Social? Juice World, Polo and myself the old name I do, I do. I ain't gonna lie. I feel like it's what we're doing now, it's a little different, like I ain't gonna it is it is it is. I ain't gonna lie. But see I have to do too because if I did another one straight over. I just feel like I feel like the wave and what
we're doing for like music in Chicago different. Man, Like Nigga's like, I ain't trying to knock nobody or no none of the old heads. But Nigga's just respecting this ship a lot a lot more right now, what we're doing. You know what I'm saying that, I just know that because I love hip hop, I always like it was a young nigger in the mix. I've been like outside ten twelve years old, Like I was always somebody like in my neighborhood all through the East Side, so I
was able to like see this ship for myself. Like you know, so I didn't seen Kayanne person when I was a kid. I hadn't seen bumped Ja in person when I was a kid. Twister, like he really, like know my uncle the reason why even start rapping in the first place. You know, my uncle passed away. His name is kay Tone, but Twister know him personally, you
know what I'm saying. Um, And like the aura everything was different, Like I ain't gonna I've never really been starstruck seeing no rapper in Chicago until I've seen Bump Jake. How about when I was leaving school one time, like he hopped out and just stay movement and what they was doing. I don't know, maybe just being a street nigger. He ain't really like he was just I feel like bump he out, he don't about you know what I'm saying,
he out, he hustling, bump doing him. Uh. But like just when I've seen when I was a kid, that ship just I ain't never really been stopped struck for real, and then I've seen yeah again. I was like, stop struggle a little bit, and your head said something to me like, man, you gotta stop letting the nigga steal
your staff. And I'm like, damn, I don't even think he knew who I was feeling me, but he knew who I was, you know what I'm saying, But I just feel like music right now in Chicago, we could really do some way different than it's ever been done if we just come together, you know what I'm saying. We gotta come together, Like how y'all doing out here? But what do you think the process of it is?
Just leaving all of all the bush it alone? Man, so much street ship in Chicago or like niggas would be cool, but you ain't be as cool as you want to be because you know a nigga or yo, y'all cousins into it, Like my cousin and my homie could possibly potentially be in the same room, and I know these niggas going so they see each other, gonna try to kill each other no matter if I'm here,
who he hears she here? They here? Like we gotta do like position niggas well, like it ain't even worked it, Like at the end of the day on Blood Get Ship, I know for show like that ships, it's unforgivable, as you know what I'm saying, it's unforgivable. And I was like that. I was the same nigga. But when you got kids and you got five ten millions into your account,
you ain't finished. Just go shoot a nigga broad day, Like right now, You're not going that no matter how you feel, how angry, how much you got about that. So you gotta put niggas in position. You gotta how opportunity with niggas is really getting money and they don't
even got like that mentality. What I ain't got nothing to lose, you know, I don't gonna how angry is how much you're a real street nigga and the killer for show, they're gonna think twice before they just go put theirselves in the line of fire if you actually got something going on for yourself, you know what I'm saying.
So we can't be selfish. We gotta really, like everybody who got some type of money, opportunity resources, put that ship back in Chicago so we could get some money flowing out here Like that's the difference between Chicago and Atlanta. Niggas getting money and nigga ain't even gotta wrap. You ain't never heard of wrap from this nigga. He got every change, every watch you got called all this ship because niggas is getting money out there. That's what they
focused on. Money, Like nigga Chicago, wake up. Just want to kill and don't want to get no money. We gotta make a nigga not want to do nothing but get some money. Like when the niggas feel money though, and they see what to do for you, that's what they're donna want to do. How big you think? What what part do you think? The music playing that ship well and played a big part of it because growing up in our way we're here in Chicago was so like big and there was so many niggas wrapping and
not understanding what they're doing. Like you here, niggas, they came up solid. That was real life, real niggas. That was rapping and living what they're saying. But it's a lot of ship. Like what we did with rapping hat transferred to other places and ship like that. People rapping about ship that they really not ain't living, you know what I'm saying. So rap played a big part in it because how we came up. Nigga's talking about this niggahood and this nigga did nigg and this, this, this
and the third. But it's like you don't even really feel like that, you know what I'm saying, Like a lot of times and then it just sounds good, like a nigga see you, and you will see a nigga you on tour with, or nigga you rapping about and your eyes just telling nigga you skared. So now they're gonna really try what I'm saying, they're gonna eat you because you're not even really like that. And at the end of the day, they don't make you cool or
not cool. If a nigga, no the rap rap about something that make you cool that you really you think that should have worked with what's going on. Yeah, well, because at the end of the day, certain it's like it's a respect thing, you know what I'm saying. Certain nigga, like a real nigga. Like if I see a nigga, niggas wrapped about me all the time, and I'll be
seeing niggas but I ain't rap about you. You said something about me, so I see you and you're supposed to try me immediately, and I want you to for real, but you're not, though you know you're not. I'm saying somebody to go rap about just say being a kid, go rap about God damn school, yeah or anything. Yeah, yeah, it'll work because it's a lot of people that go
to school. But it's but and the ain't not a lot of wrappers that ain't nobody did it though for real, Like, a't nobody there that ship for real, ain't not in in the city for real. Like it will work to a certain extent, but I feel like, ain't nobody gonna coast it because everybody think they're supposed to wrap about some other ship that they're not really living. But at the end of the day that it ain't doing nothing but a get niggs killed for real, ain't doing number
get nigga is killed. So it's like you could win just being like a cool, smooth, wavy nigger. But it's like what you in itfol Like, is you trying to win just being you or you're trying to be the biggest nigga about being something that you ain't. You're not gonna be the biggest nigga being something you ain't. You could say that from the point of being the nigga that you said you is right. But the person that's looking at this ship's entertainment, Yeah, you're right. The person
that's looking at this ship entertainment. And I'm like, you're absolutely right. But that go to say, this ship ain't for everybody. You got a fan words for you like, but actually work for some of these niggas will be lying it do work for something? Is that be lying? But then it's like it worked on the internet and what you think. But niggas don't be happy for real because no you But but maybe they don't be broke. No, no, they don't. Don't they don't they need me to change
their life. Okay, but not now. I get what you're saying told them, and I'm not disagreeing. What I'm saying is a nigga nobody and nigga could be sending his mama basement and make a hot as song saying goddamn, what he's gonna do to a nigga? Yea that ship blow up one song, change his life? Yeah, that ship changes like now he able to take care for take here his feminine ship. But you don't create a real problem,
like a real problem. But nigga feels like ship. I've just been see him broke, I had this problem in his money. Didn't be broke? Yeah, with no problem. Yeah, sir, iggas don't feel like that. But then there's certain niggas that's like ship down. They when they do it, they regret even doing it because the problems that come with show for show, the problems of trouble come with it, like niggas looking for you that you don't even like. You can't even protect yourself. You gotta go isolate yourself.
And then it's like nigga when they feel like that, they're go on a real slump. They don't even want to make music no more. Do nothing. Now you got all these bills and everybody depending on you, and you ain't got no other way to make no money because you don't even want to make You don't want to come out side, you want to go to the studio. You don wanta do no shows because nigga's on your west. So but everybody that bit your ass ship and go all the way with it. Yeah, the well though, and
the nigger't do that, I respect them more. Gonna take everything that comes with the ship that you created, saying don't start something that bit up, No, don't start nothing. Then just like you created this problem for all these niggas, you've got niggas actually killing each other, and now you know where to be found, you know where to be found at all, you know what I'm saying, Or it ain't even gotta be nothing to do with like being
in the mix or contributing to the war. Try to clear that ship up before I get too messy and niggers really started dying and too much blood gets spit. Well,
you can't come back from it. Go try to clear that ship up in some way if you can, you know what I'm saying that, And you ain't lying through the music rap music, that's just just that made it so fucked up young in general, where like, yeah, you can't even come back from the It's damn they impossible for real, because because if you if you if you say god that, if you come on an interview right there and say, well you know what till my ops ain't got no problem. Your family were like, but yeah,
you're straight, what do you do a delemma law? It is you could really want to in your heart feel like I want to change, but I'm really sick of this ship. But then you lose your fans. Yeah, what do you do? I think you get other fans. Thought, I think you get other fans. You can get other fans and everybody. But you ain't gonna You're gonna as big as you probably would lose nothing, nobody trying to nothing. But then again, it's like you just said, you gotta
take it. No, don't forget what you say. Make one point. You gotta take anything that come with this ship. Even if like I didn't change my I ain't trying to start no ship today. But it's like if you got a problem with me for what happened five teen years ago, I just gotta take what come with that. It is what it is, and that never goes away. People got problem with you that you don't even know. People got problems.
People wake up and make you their problem. Mother, wake up and yeah, that nigga hurt was still right here if he if he picked up the phone, I'll beat this. Well, I do that. But that's why you gotta just stay aggressive and stay like what you want because at the end of the day, you're gonna have them type of problems. So it's like I can't just say fucking I don't want nothing to do with nothing, no more like I don't want no trouble. But it is what it is. I'm gonna take it if it comes to me. I
got to ship. I ain't got no choice. And what do how do you win do it? How do this ship? Like one of the brands I respect, I was for to say Snoop Dogg bro because he came from gangster ship Grow grow here. He was a tour with oh dead in jail. He supposed to be able to do this the whole ship. It's only gonna be hand for the niggas. Maybe four five niggas. That's the last mean all that ain't got no man, I got niggas. What I'm saying, I'm trying when he ain't got to worry
about all that dumb ship. This is it's about the younger. How did they get turned in on the niggas? Possible? We gotta have to try to live as long as impossible, and it is impossible for real because he's not lying though. No matter what even if you guys like certain niggas that's so deep in the streets. That's really that's on some real nigga shipped too and getting money now, like they even though it's automatic smoke when we see each other, it is what it is. But niggas respect you just
because of who you is and what you did. Like and I feel like I got that in Chicago, Like a nigga respect me for showing nigger gonna see me, and damn they're like not out of fear nothing, just think twice before they even go act off imposts and try to do something to me, you know what I'm saying, because I built that kind of respect for myself. But at the end of the day, like Big Bro just said, you're gonna have a nigga just wake up mad at the world for no reason. They just want to do
something to you. Funk. All that on't respect nothing. I'm gonna go crash out right then. So here is almost impossible to avoid that. But the first step is to move We agree that hell yeah, that's what I did, but that don't work for everybody, you know what I'm saying, Like because exactly brought in like like He's like this, just like he's family here. You know what I'm saying, Whatever you go, it's feminine us exactly. But when you coming to you ain't making no noise how you're gonna move.
You're gonna move for what And just had the same problems that you're here in Chicago. You better all just standing from where you're from. And he just hit it right on the head like I moved because I was on the mission, while like I'm just finished, separate myself from this right here and just come out here and just focus on going to the studio, going to the career.
But at the end of the day, I know I still got love in l A because I funk with niggas that love and l A you know what I'm saying, disrespected, And I know I got love in Atlanta because I I funk with nigga's the same way. You know, I've been going to l Asis sixteen, seventeen years old, eighteen coming right back going in Atlanta the same way. You
know what I'm so. I met south Side when I was seventeen years old, had been my brother, you know what I'm saying, Like I've been coming out here fucking with with Brother and fucking with Savage now for them in three or four years now you feel me. So it's like I just you gotta know what you're up against at the end of the day. Like you could go move to l A and then I'll even do is have to be for a bunch of l A niggers ain't moving the right way. You know. I didn't
take the same energy with you. No, you didn't take the same energy that you can't know what I'm saying. You gotta show love at the end of the day. That's what it's about, showing love. But I don't know it just gotta be in you like you always just gotta be like all the energy around you just gotta be like funk with him, you know what I'm saying, Like just it just gotta be on you that you gotta be in you for really, you just gotta feel it.
I don't know what the solution, No, I ain't gonna Actually got me thinking too though, because how you how you just explained it. It really just let me know the ship bigger than one person, because I feel like I'll be feeling like I could make a difference. But then just talking ahead that's why I wanted to come. But keep doing that though, yeah he can, I'm gonna
definitely keep doing it. But at the end of the day, it's like, that's why you gotta have a conversation with like real niggas who understanding that thing outside the box, because I ain't never really think about ship the way Big Broth placing it right now, you know what I'm saying, because it should be damned impossible for real. So it's like, take an army to make this ship better, and money don't solve it. Hell no worse, make it worse for sure,
because you're gonna get into the wrong nigga. And when you create a movement, even bro this ship just so because you can create a movement and try to goddamn just just like anything else, uh Mar Luther King create the movement, then the movement hating at you the face him. We've been if we create we all ship, we went don't with bank with everybody with who it's gonna be a nigger. So were mad that g Herbal is the face of this. Yeah he's doing a great job about movement.
He cann be doing a great job at this ship. He'd be like why he got all the weight, He just chosen one and then that could turn into real not to get because he gonna poison tell other niggers to feel how he feels, and that once it's written, when it's poisoned internal, it's like it's damn impossible to fix that ship too. He's not lying though, like not to get to preaching that hundreds of years to get all the hate, Like yeah, you got an outlet, that's what.
So as he said that that was my first only ship I could think of, you got, you got, you gotta start hit the weeding ship. Let's go coming up. No listen, but even but even even Snoop said, Brian never have a murder case till I made murder was the Hey. So getting back to some big faceship manifest that speaking that ship, you manifesting and you're creating that energy. I don't know, he's said that. He said that ship and then the Greatest Club. So it's like you manifest
that ship. Start talking about some money and some women and some mother you know what I'm saying, Like, no, you ain't laying though, Nigga definitely be like nigga, Nigga man in his mouth that ship when you're speaking about certain ships. Yea, yeah, that song is very powerful. Yeah,
So there's been a lot of chat going around about collaborations. Um, I think I saw some online by a little Baby Polo G like those are manifested become a reality, you think, Yeah, I think they should for Shore, you know what I'm saying, especially Baby, especially me and Baby. Ship that's long overdue. Bro, I pretty much started together, right Yeah. Yeah, Um, for Shore, I ain't gonna uh and ship. I think Baby like
he won't to Wrap for real. But it's like Nigga just making so much money doing other ship, he ain't really driven about Wrap, you know what saying, Like they you gotta really just motivate him to get in the studio and go lock in for a month two months and just about him knowing how to rap and and loving that ship because that's what he that's the reason he even in the industry in the first place. I think he's gonna fall back a little with it like that, Like that's what I need to do. Just go I
had nothing to do. Just go lock in with Bro, and I think we're gonna make some hard ass ship for real. But that nigga and not really thinking about rap because ship he's making so much money. Ship bro, he on some mobile ship right now. N I ain't even thinking about wrap it all for real? Who need to coming out of Chicago at Chicago? Um? I funk with with Flat and Ari Hard um DCG going crazy Maler brother forty, he going crazy from my hood A
small little brother. Um he turned shot the next for show. Mala cousin a little what he definitely got a crazy little move Mala cousin he Um, he just got out of jail. He just be the quadruple murder. Yeah, he just got out of that ship. Know a fan? Yeah? How that ship go? Bro? Like you got that? Like he just beat a tuw This ship different. That's crazy for real though, Like that ship right there just take
you over the top. Some negative, funked up ash like damn just a jail for murder pipe Yeah exactly exactly. They seeing DONA even labels look at it like they don't vote them to ask you what's the story? Yeah, what's the story? Like, what's the game? Like what we're selling exactly every time what we said, Like I'm a passionate ropper, ain't trying to hit it. But you ain't got nothing, you ain't lying, and that's I think that's
what really takes you over the top. Door like this um man, it's his nigger name name seven five seven month o. He from the rack too, though I ain't gonna funk with him. It's music hard. I funk with short um he's going crazy. And let me see who else going crazy? Direct man, damn it some other little shortiest too. I can't even think them though right now, Like I forgot their name, but they're going crazy. Know I can't anything. Um be hell yeah. LaMelo three six
five she from the hood. LaMelo, she from my hood to a girl wrap her ass off. I ain't gonna last. She ross fun, I really need. I'm gonna just do some ship with her just because because she's going to crazy and she's from my hood, so I gotta do some ship with her. Pipe up for show she was doing, like going to the hood club in Chicago doing it like like if you had a concert. I ain't gonna lie, you know, it's so crazy, Like I just hit my hope. My DJ. It is my brother, my real DJ, and
my producer. He just um booked me to do some ship in Chicago for the fourth and everybody telling me like, don't go, don't go, and ain't worth it, like everybody like every every day, somebody takes me, don't go to that ship. Man funk that ship, and I wanted me to go. But I was in Chicago on the fourth. I'm like, I just popping this ship real quick, you know. But it's just me. I think different because I don't
know I'll be want to show love. That's where I come from, So I feel like I gotta move a certain way. Don't get me wrong, you know what. I definitely gotta calculate my steps. But if I can't do that, what I'm doing for I'm out here trying to motivate the trenches and I don't want to go. I can't go. I gotta go. So it's like I ain't trying to put myself in the lane of fire, Like I'm not even thinking about that, you know what I'm saying. I'm
always thinking about the the worst possible outcome. At the end of the day, I'm prepared for what I'm thinking about it. I know it's possible. Every time I walk into environment, I'm thinking about that. For show, but I'm thinking about what I'm gonna do to get home, because I'm gonna get home. I'm going home, so hey, yeah, I still went, though I ain't gonna I just want this because I wanted to feel it. It was cool.
I ain't like that ship was treacherous though. Soon as I walked in, I just felt like, oh yeah, and when I do ship like that, I'd be showing love, but I'd be in that bitch mug and I'm trying to see everything that's going on, everything in the crowd. I want to see your energy. I want to see if you look at me like I'm looking at you at the end of the day, and I'm gonna show love,
don't get me wrong, but I don't know. And then I thought about it, like if I got to do that, maybe I shouldn't even be at that ship for real, you know what I'm saying, because I think about it different, like yeah, I felt a little hell yeah for sure, but I just know the circumstances, you know what I'm saying. So even though I went, I just went just because I wanted them to look. I feel like, oh it hurt, gonna still come back to the city, and show love. But at the end of the day is certain shot.
I just gotta do it right, you know what I'm saying, Like certain like ship like that. I probably can't go to no ship like that no more because it's too out of outgrown it that I don't need to do that no more. But at least I did it just so you know, you can't see I ain't do it. You can't say so next time if I get booked to Chicago, I gotta a book. That's the bigger ship.
I can't do that no more, you know, because if I feel like I got to do that and be on pointing mug niggas, I don't even need to goergy and I I don't even be thinking like when I go do other ship in the other clubs, I ain't going there like that. But then she cordo on mug and I just want to know, like, no, I'm still like the same niggas at the end of the day. But I don't even want to have to do that for real because that energy, if I got to come in there with that energy, I don't need that ship
gonna possibly happen. You know what I'm saying that it will possibly happen just because I'm not mugg because I wanted nigger to feel like I'm tough on mugging, because I'm really on point trying to be aware of months around it. You know what I'm saying that niggas get mad for anything your music. Come on, you could be wrapping your ship and feel like you're wrapping and that
didn't happened. Like now, I didn't been in concerts and seeing niggas looking like in previous concerts and ship like seeing niggas looking because I'm seeing certain words, and I guess they want to feel like I really mean it or feel like I'm talking to them with some ship, and I like, idn't really seeing that, like damn, And at certain times I didn't really look mug right back at niggas and I felt like I'm wrapping time, and
I'm like, I gotta stop doing that. I can't even like now, I don't even pay attending to the crowd. It is what it is. You could have did anything here but rap what you would have did, Oh, I would have went to hoop. I would have tried to play D one basketball and then to try to go to the league. Man, I ain't gonnallowed the streets. If I wouldn't have really like stared over to the streets and I really dedicated myself to basketball all four years of high school, I would have probably I could have
probably did something. But I rapped, Okay, after you chose rapping, and if that ship would have became lucrative for you what you did, shit, probably I would have did. I would have definitely funked around and there, like real estate. Just stay in Chicago, because my daddy do real estate, you know what I'm saying. And I would have learned that under him, you know, because if I wouldn't have just been in the streets and just saying fun it for real, like I ain't gonna allowers, so like just
caught up in my neighborhood and ship going on around. Now, if I would have choose the good rape, I would have did real estate. But if I would have stayed me, I always just been in the hood, just thugging the whole time, you know what I'm saying. Probably just had a hundred thousands some ship like that, been one of them, next a couple hundred thousands in my hood and just out there just taking whatever come with that ship. You
see what I'm saying. If rap ain't working, I was just still stuck in my old ways and ain't thinking no positive way to make it out. That ship still be in the streets for real. You know a moment where you feel like man, this hell yeah, hell yeah, that's what really made me like focus on't just wrap you know what I'm saying, Like some ship happn't and like I said, motherfucker thing gotten the chase or some crazy ship like that, and niggas wind up shooting at
me all type of ship. I'm like, man, funk this ship, well that ship over. You know what I'm I was making money off music already, you know, so I'm like, well as I'm even what I'm saying and make you say funk wrapped like uh not for real? Like hell no, I ain't gonna lie like it did those certain like
cause I ain't gonna like want like getting frustrated with it. Yeah, you will get frustrated with some ship when you see, like like you said earlier, like nigga don't really get your respect, you feel like you deserve you know what I'm saying. And it's just the internet, I think with the Internet when you get tricked off of paying and chied to the Internet, and what the fans say that to make you be like man, because I didn't say that,
but photo like, man, funk this ship. I ain't even gonna keep on trying to prove myself and doing this ship. But it's like just being a real nigger. Who are you proving yourself too? At the end of the day like these I had to really realize, like man, these fans gonna hate you today, love you tomorrow. I didn't hate you again, you know what I'm saying. And once I figured that out, it just motivated me to want
to keep rapping, you know what I'm saying. But like the industry and you feel like you ain't you gotta chase a record, feel like you gotta be bigger than a certain person, like you know what I'm saying. That's what they try to make you do. Like even your so called fans, you would be on your own ship, Like sometimes I get bored, I'll read my comments and ship like that, and the fans they would be like comparing you to other rappers and ship compare you to
this person. Oh yeah, you need a song him or you need a record like this and all you're falling off that ship trash and then see it and then like if you ain't got thick skin, that should really make you want to give up. You gotta be, you gotta be like hell, no, I know, I'm are at the end of the day, like I know, like you know, and like it was a time while I wasn't traveling, I wasn't doing those shows and nothing. This is before the pandemic. I had got stuck in Chicago for like
ten months fighting the case. My judge and let me travel. So I probably missed like at least like three millions just shows because I couldn't go nowhere like for ten eleven months for real and big as looks. I missed rolling, all the rolling alouds, all that ship, you know what I'm saying. And I was like I was making music, but I wasn't dropping it because my ship wasn't like my brand wasn't where I needed to be anywhere. I feel like my ship would have flopped. The fall just
dropped in the middle of that. So I had to overcome that ship. And while I'm overcoming it, that was when I'm reading the comments and seeing like, oh, yeah, this nigga falling off that ain't there. You can't do ship. So that ship kind of did had me like wanted to give up for real, and like I'm like I can't though, so I just kept going the studio. This is right before PTSD dropped. That's what I was working on.
That ship was like tough for me, you know what I'm saying, Like, cause I wasn't making no money on the road. All I had was my ascillary money. So if I wasn't really like independent of my business wasn't set up the way it was, I would have been fucked up for real. Like I wouldn't have been really seeing no money, you know what I'm saying, because a lot of times artists don't really see no money unless
they're doing shows and ship like that. You know. So I was spending a lot of money just being in Chicago, Like I'm like, man, I I had moved out my career. All I had was my mama career, my mama house. So I was staying downtown to hotels and I'm telling myself, like I'm not baying O'Connor because I'm not getting stuff. I'm not even trying to get comfortable. Hell, like often just spend all this money in hotels and say, funck it. So I'm spending a lot of money, but I ain't
making no money, you know what I'm saying. I'm going to the studio and it's like I went into a real slump and I'm like, man, this ship frustrated really made me like I feel like damn, I had to question myself, Like man, this ship really for the work
for me, you know what I'm saying. Just just knowing that, and like if mother really paying attention, that ship just inspired them to not give up because you would go through them slumps where you really questioning yourself and you're seeing everything else around the world moving but you and you're like, damn, man, this ship getting ugly? Is it over with from me? Am I gonna? Like? Am I really fenna be a story like one of them artists
that just did this and ain't do nothing else. Um. When I actually finished my album, like when I was in the studio listening to my ship complete, and I felt like and this ship hard like I know if to when the world hear it? Like I got that confidence listening to my mute, like man, when the world hear this ship that I know they're gonna have to respect,
They're gonna have to co sign it. Like my whole album when I heard and it was complete and I turned it in and I was I heard, Like right before my album dropped in February, I had one last court date and I was betting on if I was gonna have to ship go sit down for my last gun chart, if I was gonna have to sit down, or if the judgs gonna throw it out and lift my trap. So I was betting on that and I just heard like half spirits like man, I'm gonna be good.
I know I'm gonna be good. When they lifted the ship, like probably the end of January, right before I dropped my ship, it just gave me a breath of fresh air, Like all right, my ship in the drip, I could move around, I could go tour. So I went straight to l A and move back out there. Already had the crib in l A. But I just when I was that ship was just sitting for like a yeah, you know what I'm saying. I had moved went back to my carib and when I dropped my ship ship,
it was like that it ain't never happened. Like it's like you know, when you go through them dark times and ship and then you get to the finish line, it just it makes you strong. I feel like that ship ain't never really happened. For it, you forget about it. It was like a breath of fresh air. So I
had to, like I had to go through that to know. Like, man, it's always like at the end of the tunnel, I'm like, I'm just gonna take whatever conde this ship now, Like whatever frustrations or whatever like adversity that come with this ship, you just gotta take it and just leaning towards it. That's what I did the whole time, just leaning towards like, man, fucking I'm gonna get through this ship. And I got
through it. What's what's the biggest key you think to being successful as an independent artist, because a lot of people can kind of like, man, they and the Finnish it too hard. The money some of the keys though, Um, you gotta have a good internal like business, you gotta have good internal structure, like I got partnership, you know what, I'm signing with Republic with Label Services and in Grus
with District. You're not signed to him, but you yeah, sure, I just we just partnered in Universal right now, so I feel and it's the it's the truth. You know,
anybody could contest to it. Who actually know, If I didn't have a good internal business set up already, it wouldn't work for me, you know what I'm saying, Like as far as my release schedule, the way I released music, the way I gotta package my ship and and have it bundled to deliver to them, because all I supposed to really do is deliver and then they just amplify that ship and make it what it's supposed to be.
But you gotta have a good business set up internally to like make sure your ship is structured the right way. So you could go and get it's independent, you know what I'm saying, situation, or you could go partner and have deals with like these big companies that's just gonna make your ship, you know, reach the people that are supposed to reach, you know what I'm saying. So you're gonna have to spend money, that's the first thing. Though. I got to spend money. Though, you gotta be willing
to spend money. And no, I'm spending money for my ship. So if you're spending a couple hundred thousand dollars on marketing and you feel like, damn, I should have bought a Richard. I posted about the Richard you loss already. You know what I'm saying. You gotta understand, like, all right, Shire, you're balling in itself. That is balling. If I'm able to go spend a million dollars, a half a million dollars whatever right then on the spot to make sure
my ship, dude's supposed to do ship. You can't hear me. I ain't boss stuff. I ain't gotta have no Richard, none of that ship. You know what, I'm able to put my money right back into myself and then the profit come later. So I might spend my liquid cash, put a couple of million into my ship and then ship. Nigger just really waiting. You're making a sacrifice, you know what I'm saying. You put your money back into your
ship and waiting to see what it's gonna do. And at the end of the day away like the digital ship and all this ship set up, you can actually see your analytics. You know what I'm saying, that what you projected to do and how much money you projected to make out and seeing it with my own ass. So if you believe in your ship and you know that, why not spend some money and you know you're projected to make this, you know what I'm saying. So that's
what it is. It's kind of like I on the music industry really like the streets at the end of the day, if you know how to hustle a little bit, you kind of could get it, you know what I'm saying. If you know how to hustle and spend money on yourself, it's like investing in your trap in a sense. You know what I'm saying. When you're investing your trap ship, it's gonna blossom. You're gonna make profit, you know. So we're independent. It's just all about understanding, like you're gonna
have to put in the most work. You know, you gotta pay for your own videos, you gotta pay for your own marketing, and then you could partner with you know, the label marketing or a certain marketing and merchandise companies and ship like that. But you gotta figure that out internally, and they're not gonna figure out your merch ideas your what you gotta do for your shows as far as or you know what, You gotta partner with people. When you're independent, you gotta already put the work in and
then I'm going to shoot these videos. I'm gonna promote this single or I ain't gonna promote a single with all. I'm just gonna turn my project in and let it do what to do. And they gotta trust to you to know, like, damn, ain't he got a single, but ship, we're gonna steal funk with it because I feel like it's gonna do this, this and this, you know what I'm saying. So it's a long way though. It's like you're taking the stairs. You're not taking the elevator. You're saying.
You gotta grow a little by a little being an independent artist. But that's all they care about at the end of the day. As long as you're not doing this and you're doing this, you ain't got to grow this like this way, you know what I'm saying. You could just do this and they're gonna still funk with you because they're making money and you're making money and you're doing all the hard work, you know what I'm saying.
It's like you're just delivering some ship. They're gonna work, but all the hard work, you're willing to do that yourself within your team, you know what I'm saying. So with being independent, you gotta work like that. And you feel me, what's the funk? Look competent, what's the first what's the what's the but what's the what's the first team member you think you need to help? Because people artists always I need manager. I need to manage their manager.
But I'll be like, the manager ain't just gonna solve your problems. If you ain't got nothing going on, they can't manage it. So I always tell people, man, get your a lawyer and the engineer first. That's me, you know But what you definitely have a lawyer automatically you have a lawyer, and that's a good setup to a lawyer engineer. And you should have a PR or publicist and and then the manager come after that, you know
what I'm saying. But if you've got a good PR, good publicist, I feel like that's kind of like having a manager in itself. You know what I'm saying, They're gonna get you the looks that you need. You know what I'm saying, and a lot of times, like a manager is somebody who's gonna go hustle for you. Don't get me wrong, You're gonna go hustle for you. But if you don't got the right manager that's gone get you the right looks, you just it's like you're hustling backwards.
You're just getting all this ship and then you're hustling just you don't even know where you're going. And did all this ship and been in every city and made some money, but your brand ain't grown at all, you
know what I'm saying. So you gotta have, like I feel like, you need a publicist or a pr that's gonna get you the right looks and get you the right brand and ship, and they're gonna ask you what you look what you're trying to like accomplish within yourself and this amount of time, and when you do that, they're gonna go out and try to get it. And if they're not getting it at least you see you know what I'm saying. With a manager, you ain't really
seeing that because they just bring you money. I got this opportunity, I got this, this this so they could be eating but your brand I growing, you know what I'm saying, especially being independent. You need that. So if there were three things that you could make sure that your son's understood about life, what would they be, Um, it will be one that ship the world crew Ain't
nothing gonna come to you, you know what I'm saying. Like, that's why I'm like, I'm tough on my kids a little bit, like on the internet, that might look like I'm just you know what I'm saying, But at the end of the day, I want my kids, especially with them being boys, they gotta have like ferociousness, you know what I'm saying. Because at the end of the day, with them, especially with them being my kids, they're not
gonna get no break. And you heard them something you had this ship easy, They're gonna try to knock them right on the app So you gotta have like you gotta be prepared for that. You gotta have thick skin for that, you know what I'm saying. That's one thing too, it would be you gotta you gotta be a hard worker, like you gotta really go hustle. Because I could have all this ship and I could give it to you, but I want my kids to be able to take
what I get them and another level. You know what I'm saying, Like, that's what you gotta learn that early. Like I want to be. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's some way or all the big ship that my kids get in life, I want them to have to like work for and not necessarily work and go make money, just just like put in some kind of there's some type of effort to make me proud to want to give you this ship. You know what I'm saying That you can have a Ferrari
at sixteen if you do that. You know what I'm saying, if you're just working and you're not on know lazy ship, because you got it, And that's one thing that I want, like and that that scared me, Like you know what I'm saying, being somebody that got money and able to do so much for their kids, like you get comfortable, really, you know what I'm saying that, and you want to give your kids the world because I worked hard for this ship. So I want to be at the spoiler.
But it's like how do you It's a certain way you gotta do it, and I ain't found that balance yet, Like how do I spoil my kids without making them spoil you know what I'm saying. And uh, the last thing will be uh to respect women for sure, disrespect women, man, you know what I'm saying. I feel like we're doing that. If you respect women, it to just take you a long way. You know what I'm saying. That we've gotta be just just your woman. I feel like you just
get blessings in life just respect the way years. So uh, definitely teach them that, you know, because nowadays like shep kids just ain't being gonna respect pet you know what I'm saying. And seeing that, you know, like the Internet, that makes you definitely like not respect women. You know
what I'm saying. I feel like those three things. Once you got that, once you got like discipline and like ferociousness to understand that the world this against you already, like and not being afraid of that and just willing to go conquer it, and you gotta hustle, and you got like if you respect women, ship, you've got self respect.
Didn't know what I'm saying, Like, you ain't gonna let nobody disrespect you just because respect you got for like women, and then the people raised you know, what I'm saying, So I feel like you got them three man, You're gonna be good for sure. And then another thing to that I always ask people like when they're here, is if you could pick like one or two things that you've never done in your life that you want to do, like on like some bucket list type ship before you die.
Like what would they be one on? For me? Probably jump off an airplane. I don't or I want to do some ship like that jump off a plane. And I'm scared of that ship though. I'm scared of it, like you're fighting your fears type ship. I'm scared of that type of ships. But I want to do it though, you know what I'm saying, Like even like when I see it on TV and movies and ship that should be looking fun, Why don't literally jump by the silver when they gotta let I want to jump? See that's
what I want to do. Don't go right? Yeah, no, you ain't lying. I want to jump by myself though, after you learn how to do it. Yeah, now that would be just my luck. I do that ship thinking fun with some ship. Man, I ain't gonna lie. I ain't thinking about it like that. Yeah, now you got you gotta have a professional got to be a woman or something telling man, let me get a girl ship. You gotta do it like that? The second should I
do on my bucket list? Uh, after I jump off a plane, man, it'll be like, I don't know, I want to go somewhere like some monumental ship like see one of the one of the one of the Wonders of the like that. You know, like I don't really travel, like I never as long as I've still been like making money and should have been an artist, I ain't really travel only been like three countries probably that I've been in Jamaica that one time. Well I've been twice.
I went with Baby Bro went to Jamaica before, I've been in Canada, and I've been h Mexico in London with Juice World. That was it. Yeah, hell yeah that ship was like then was some of the best times I hear in my life. But just doing that, I want to travel, like I ain't gonna like I want to take some time. Well I'm just traveling just me and my girl and my kids and ship, just some ship like that, you know what I'm saying. Like my family, my mom would take my mama to go do see
some ship like that. That's what I really want to do, Like I ain't a lie. That's why I'd be hustling like real hard right now because I want to just take like a real year man. Not to disappoint my fans, and I'm probably gonna still put music out, but I want to just take a y'all to do whatever I want to do because I've been working too hard for too long. I've been doing this ship then in ten years,
and I need to hill a little bit. Yeah, Geerbo, we appreciate you, my brother, Congratulations on your new projects. You know what I'm saying. But continue final words for the Big Fact supporters, Yeah, man, for Big Facts. You know, I only I wanted to come here personally, and you know, because the ship, the ship we kick and we're gonna talk on here, I don't be able to talk about you know. So I feel like other blogs and other like not even blogs, just other podcasts and other outlets.
You know what I'm saying. Media outlets, you come on, They're not gonna really like pick your brain and make you say some ship. They want to motivate or inspire somebody else, you know, exactly. You know what I'm saying, Like I wanted to come here so I could be able to talk about stuff from a real one, like from get a woman perspective, from Jade talking to you, scream your joke perspective, talk to big bro, because I know like big brothers like here a real nigga, he

You know what I'm saying that, That's why I really wanted to come on here so I can talk about that type of That's why I said this ship the culture, bro. We need, like we need more people to come on and like talk about
ship like that. That's gonna help somebody do something. You know what I'm saying, Like all that other ship don't really be about nothing for real, you know what I'm saying. And and just understanding that and knowing it, and when you're seeing it from the outside looking in, you feel it and make you want to like like brick Ros just saying like man, here niggers, here this and see this would be like now here often to keep going ship herb did, Herbo did Funk all that other ship.
You know what I'm saying, because at the end of the day, life gonna be hard. They're gonna put like it's gonna be pressure on everybody who's doing something, no matter if you're an artist or athlete, whatever you're doing, you know what I'm saying.
