Big Bank it is. You don't be on nothing.
I be onb okay, So let me ask bring you big, big fat visit the new website today, Big factspod dot com a.
Live from the Culture Lab. It's time for a Big Facts, Big Bank DJ screen. Baby Jaden today is up there to podcast. The creator of that big loan is here on Big Bags.
What's up, my brother?
You're good?
You're good. I'm great Now.
Before we even get all deep in the conversation, I know it's gonna be one of them classic conversations.
Man.
As for successful podcasters, I'm musa say this. This podcast thing is all right right, we should plap it up for podcasts. You know what I'm saying for successful podcasters from the South? Up in here about to have a conversation. You know what I'm saying.
What's on your mind? What's on your heart today? My brother?
You know whatever? Wherever y'all want to go with it. Me and Bank and y'all just heard me speak about we need to be on media in the South. I think the rappers need to pay us a little bit more attention.
I think.
Up north it's kind of biting into a lot of the Southern artists when they drop an album, they tend to run up North to promote it before coming to Big Facts, before coming to It's up the podcast. And I just don't think their favor will be returned if the shoe was on the other foot. So I celebrate us being in.
The South, and I salute I think we should both salute a little baby because he came to Big Facts a couple of times.
And yes, the.
First you know what I'm saying, first and thousand percent agree. It's not that we got to love everybody, but it's just that, hey, you should go home.
Verse.
It's prioritizing, prioritizing your avenues because in the event that this thing burns down, we will be the only one speaking on your behalf. Right, those guys will pay more attention to and we could get into it. For me. You know, I celebrate j I celebrate did I celebrate fifty, but also celebrate bird man.
I celebrate pe, I celebrate prints, I celebrate you did.
Know what I'm saying, I think those conversations have to merge, and we got to be at the head of that.
I like that.
I like that, Like what was you doing for the media and the podcasting and stuff. I got a history and a few different things. Okay, well, what can you speak about, you know, whatever you want to speak.
I've readen music, successful music. I've been involved with a few things. My hands is in real estate back home, I have transitional homes. Well, when people get out of jail or rehab or something like that and they need somewhere to gold court order where the state provides them.
Housing, and two of those in my city.
Nice.
I got a tour bus, you know what I'm saying. I got a couple of box trucks. So I got a few things going on in my town. But I've just been a hustle all my life, you know, and that's just what it being for me.
What made you decide to get behind the mic and just chop it with people and talk and know, just chop it by yourself and talk about cultural topics.
What was was that moment?
I think people like us, brou have an obligation to over communicate, you know, those of us that have found the light switch in the dark room, to be able to provide our families with something and change our lives for the better. I think we have an obligation to kind of give march in orders, you know. And so when I first started, that was my thinking, Like I would hear a lot of talking in the game and say, Yo, they misrepresenting what I'm seeing.
I don't see what they see.
What is that? Why they position in that like that? That's before I know about the business side of this. But I thought everybody was speaking from their hearts and they truly believed some of the things that they were saying. And I was confused. And because I have to leave this world to my little boys, I want to put some game next to some of these lame shit you see going on, you know. And that was my thing, That's what.
So did anybody inspire that, Like, was you watching some other podcast or something else that inspired that, or you.
Just well, I watched the entire game. I watch everything White Comedians, the True Crime.
That, yeah, you did, because I need to know the market, he said Joe Rogan basically, and no, no, no, I just wrote I'm talking about I know the field, bro O, Like I know the entire field.
This is not an accident. I'm here without a co host.
So you like the ball player in the league and all the players.
I don't know what's going on, what they making, what they lying about, what it's worth, even if they ain't getting what it's worth. I'm familiar with the analytics of this thing. Okay, you know, so that's what it is, bro. Yeah, but a lot of people, I want to be cleared. A lot of people inspired it. Like you say, I look at Charlemagne, of course, you know, he shout out to Charlemagne did a lot for me. But I even watched Joe Budden, I've watched Joe Rogan. I've watched anybody
that's moving around and making money with this thing. You made some money with this thing here. I know something about whatever you was doing.
That was my thing. I came in for the money. I ain't come to play.
What what what? So?
So what's your are there are there podcast with media outlests that respectfully you say, I could just do it out.
I don't really stand for what the It's a bunch of old yeah.
Yeah, it's a bunch of those I think a lot of those people are behind some of the narratives we see.
Now.
You know, I'm yeah, and for me, I'm loud about whatever because I don't need no relationship with nobody. I came in like that. So I don't mind saying people names, you know, I don't mind addressing folks or handling what come with that. But yeah, it's a lot of people I can do without, you know. I know I've been speaking about media so much, but I feel like I be sometimes confused in the markets. And I look at American and I say, the best way to get through
the people is to categorize things. So I got to figure out a way to categorize what it is these suckers doing so I can put a label on it. What's the most sucker shit?
You know? Seen, like.
Just getting in the way these nigga be in a way, bro, you know other money.
See, I think they just the super fan has been birthed and these niggas got microphones. So the super fan nigga is critical things that's affecting the business in a way that I know he cognize it all. But the fans think he's still speaking from like a genuine place.
But some of these dudes are trying to affect these guys business.
Bro, I can't respect that. When a nigga undercut your money, I can't respect. I can't respect it.
Are you like you. Okay, So.
Without I don't want I don't really like I said, I want to call like names or whatever. But in the in the in the public recently, there's been a rapper who has been accused of some ship, but there was.
An underlying narrative that.
Was being pushed at the same time with these accusations and what.
Yeah, I want to raise my head. We don't have to because I'll involved today.
I just bro we gotta give it up in the South like this, Okay, I'm talking.
I'm talking about that. All the ship is going on with me, right Okay?
You know how like they try to come out like with the gay shit or whatever when he was trying to drop his album and you know this and that, but he was already like also going through like some other ship. So like he said, he said it himself, like he brought it to the attention that they're trying to push this narrative of him him possibly behind closed doors, having done some ship or whatever to affect what he
has going on, like Loan said, with his business. And I'm with Loan on that that's personally like some bullshit and some like some pussy ship because at the end of the day.
If you don't like a nigga, don't like the nigga.
If you have a problem with something that he's done, have a problem with what this nigga has done, but don't try to stand behind closed doors and do some ship that's gonna affect his character and knowing that his character is what his business stands on.
That's some bullshit.
Who are the people? I guess that's what something I'm just thinking about. The comments. The comments are like, well, who is the people pushing this agenda? Like who are they?
Sometimes it's not.
They are the people that are trying to prevent him from releasing music.
Oh yeah, somebody, then somebody have to create and starting if.
About them like not wanting him to release music, and he got like some other ship going on.
But it's the it's some very.
Powerful people behind the reason why he hasn't been able to release.
That PR team to destroy Nigga.
It's not even a PR team. It's bigger than PR teams.
It's it's like real machines behind the ship that are just like okay, you know how.
Like niggas niggas niggas amp up.
Their Spotify numbers with the box and the machines and the people in the place and this and that, blah blah blah. It's the same ship used that's used to ramp up these niggas numbers, that's ramped up to bring a nigga down and destroy a nigga too at the same time.
So basically what you're saying, they put that gay ship on me to and it could just be a hater.
Yeah, I'm sure.
Some people.
No, she's saying like, this is what I'm gathering. You know what I'm saying.
I'm thinking Jay saying like it could be a motherfucker somewhere that hate me.
Right, Yes, all they had to do was started on.
The internet so cold they go find ship, then the bag up a lot.
It's how fucked up this shit is.
Its asie.
The Internet know how to paint a picture of anything.
That's why you can't get caught out there doing no questionable shit. But you know what I'm saying, you can't get caught out there doing no questionable ship because you only add up to what the Internet know of you. You know what I'm saying. So if a niggas just say, if the niggas say they draw a narrative of say, thug Thug is this gainst this gangst. But that's all you've been saying to your music, that's all you've been doing.
You got niggas around. So we go back on the Internet to the to the memory, not the memory of I see thug got I know these nigga is a good nigga. This nigga's a kid really at heart. I know this like this is a good nigga all the way around. But if I look at the Internet and look at the Internet as my memory, but that's what we do. We look at the Internet is our memory, like I remember when he did instead of judging the person when you met that person, let.
Me let me off.
But speaking on meek situations specifically, my thing is is like, Okay, what else could have been said about him that would that.
Would other than some gay ship that would.
Fucking because he already got out yes, yes, yes.
And then like you said, with the memory, with the Internet and the memory ship, it ain't even like you said, a nigga can't be out here doing questionable ship. But it ain't even gotta be something questionable. He's in a picture with a nigga that fucking had his own allegations or whatever's going on with that ship, and just that one picture.
That would make it questionable to the Internet. I ain't saying me.
I'm not questioning with me.
I met this nigga plenty of numerous times, we talked each other.
The DMS and ship fuck with me. What I'm saying is.
Is still once It's just like it's just like a rico. Once your ad get caught up in this ship, you caught up in it. The ship puff going through anything that has been around that.
But here here's his what's happening too though, Right, So there's a lot that we just unpacked when we deal with thug. I want to deal with that separate from the meek meal thing. It's totally because and the reason I want to do that is because I believe the
judicial system has a responsibility to view things totally. Yeah, right, I can't blame right, I can't blame Twitter for picking things and pain the narrative before the judicial system to come and grab a guy and act like they don't see all the giving back, or act like they don't see some of the other things that represent the eyes, like they don't.
See all the corrupt ship that the other that the fucking other side of this same judicial system has done.
It's ludicrous, it's ridiculous.
So so that's one. But for the hater thing, I truly believe there's a couple of things happening.
There's a there's a.
Site called Reddit, right, Yeah, And what I've noticed, because again I studied the game, So what I've noticed is on Reddit there's a lot of narratives and what what what you see happening is these people with these bigger platforms are going on there and grabbing these narratives and bringing them out.
Then why is that important?
Because it comes with a built in audience, It comes with your speaking for these people who are living in this I'm gonna call this the dead sea, right, all.
This shit, this this ship they doing is messing shit. This is the dead Sea.
Don't nothing out of here really serve nobody? You see what I'm saying, It's just bullshit. So they coming in, they speaking for these Reddit pages, and then it's kitching legs quickly because that's what they do. They live on the Internet. And yeah, that's what we're saying on Reddit. Yeah, repost that. That's why these memes are rented is just like Wikipedia, right, So it ain't it ain't that to
check this it's out. It ain't that these dudes are ahead of the narratives, right, they're amplifying the narratives and then they're catching.
Up with the narratives.
These guys, these dudes are not crafty and putting this stuff up like some of the names out here. Meet me up that they that they twist his name too, Yeah, that's Twitter, that's ready, And that.
Ship is offensive that they're playing with his name.
That nigga has been through and built any fucking black and white, Like, if you don't have proof of some ship, you can't.
You can't.
You shouldn't.
Man, that ship is crazy, Like you shouldn't be able to fucking even have a voice without proof.
And you have a responsibility when you have a platform. Yes, man, right, should make a nigga crash, That's what I'm saying.
That's the should make a nigga want to like, Oh you believe.
That, but this is how you beat it and listen.
For us, I believe, especially for us in the South Gota, we gotta become more powerful because what I truly believe has to happen. We cannot beat these guys. Okay, let me frame this, you street rapper guys whose business is being affected.
By the revenge of the nerves.
Right, what happens is when they come out, they got twenty other YouTube dudes that that cover this shit. They got twenty mean pages, twenty Twitter pages. The street niggas just sitting over here like and the narratives run off.
But why would I come out speaking on niggas behalf When y'all niggas go do press, you don't come holler let us right, So why would I come put my brand and platform in front of some of these niggas have got powerful people that associate with them, and all of these different narratives they gonna soon I jump out and say, yo, man, y'all nigga d they gonna take me and you ain't even gave me no love in my business and I'm definding balance out. So you gotta help.
We gotta help each other.
These artists from the South sit around and like the Internet, the Internet, the Internet. Yeah, it's niggas like us that.
Got powerful platform.
But why would I put my business out when you niggas is running around and that's who you're giving your exclusives to.
Yeah, speaking fast, I want to talk to a.
Lot of and know what I'm saying, but it's being his bank shit.
But the thing about it, I feel like this, once you become the start of your brand, it don't even matter it.
Don't you know what I'm saying.
Fuck fucking fuck talking to you right, most niggas gonna come on line. I like getting this.
Ship from the source of the people that's telling the truth and being their authentic self. A nigga with a nigga that's been media trained, and I don't want to.
Talk to you.
Don't see them niggas on my ship. I don't even know how this nigga get in touch with niggas.
You can go look at the past episode.
They say this in the comings, and you know I pick up on comings.
You know are used to didn't recome in because he used to piss me out, But now reed come in and better myself off the hate my niggas. Be like, Bro, you can tell the bank face he ain't fucking with a guest. And I go back and look at some shit. I know I wouldn't fuck it be.
Like I was fucking I can't blame you. I can't blame me for that. You ain't I want to do that shit. But I'm saying, at some point you gotta balance that which you're creating a business and they see is a business and you is bank and you need to throw your weight around. And Jade gotta throw a weight around and scream, gotta throw your weight around, right because I'm throwing mine around. You don't see me playing nowhere. You don't see me hanging nowhere. You don't see me
doing nothing, and you see me by myself. Right, this ain't one of them games. It's being played. You see what I'm saying. So I'm telling y'all got that because this is the South. All these rap niggas come from the South. Right, I'm confused. And then we not do it, but we bosses. Nigga makes six figures out audio, out of video, touching anything. So it's important for niggas to know that you want me to risk my business and do what for? What?
Make it make sense?
Speaking, Yeah, make it make sense, And I love everybodyated, but.
But but but what happens is we gotta be intentional with putting people in position that got YouTube pages, mean pages. Everybody can't be in front these cameras. You dig what I'm saying. Some of the people we pull in. How many followers you got? I want to pay you every month? Now you pulled our squad. Some go down the same way. Academics in them shoot out and no jump or post it and say cheez post and she goes bamo.
Twenty different blaws.
Got fam This ain'ta winston is though. They don't build a little business with this, They don't built a little bed and with this, this ain't Bacca. That's why them narratives. And for me, I be feeling bad but I know it's a bid and I being means with the top dollars telling me, Yo, your image is so wrong?
Do that for what?
Mm hm hm hmm speaking facts up there podcast the Big facts today. What's your thoughts on? Just just throwing it out, like, so, what's your thoughts on? Like no jumper, academics.
I just said, doctor Umar, we was going begg and forth and it literally made people start grabbing Umar again. And Yo, let's go back and forth with it because people didn't see My thing is clarify that ship. You talking anybody because I'm a listening ill. You ain't talking to the wall, so I'm paying attention, So clarify this shit. A lot of niggas don't got a law A long way just saying.
Ship yah, yeah, when you're right, you're right.
Anything else about what I got? Big?
So?
What what?
What the conversations was about? Uh?
We talked about Dion. Uh yeah, his approach to Dion Sanders I think was a little overzealous.
What was it approach?
He basically said Dion sold out for taking the opportunity to colde. Oh yeah. My position was, Yo, at some point, you you have your interest, is yourself self sustained?
Right, I'll bring you a play after weed. I ain't saying. I ain't saying you ain't gonna eat it ain't gonna be before my people though.
Sure, yeah, you know.
What I'm saying. If you can't respect that, you got to get away from it.
Period.
So y'all was able to agree on things and agree to disagree with the most important.
Thing because when you when you had these conversations, they don't get disrespectful when you understand how to navigate these conversations. So we had a great conversation about that about bbls, like about about a.
Whole bunch of shit.
Bro Like, it was dope, man, it's old out Like five hundred people was there, you know what I'm saying, big stage, it was dope. Man. I put it on by myself. So that's my thing is some of these guys that had these strong point of views. When we do it's up with that podcast live, I want you to clarify some of that shit. And I know how to dance. So it's interesting every time who's the nigga? You feel like, is it putting out the wrong message?
Man?
That nigga erasist shit. I don't know if anyone has a wrong message one hundred percent, you know what I mean. But a lot of these niggas approaches is wrong, you know what I mean. And I think your approach wrong in your opinion or wrong moraland mortland like who academics.
Uh.
I just had a conversation with No Jumper yesterday, you know, because yeah, you know, because they lose with they words on this internet. Sometimes I gotta adjust, you know, I was talking to you about their last time while I got to say they just talking long, they just talking. But I'm saying this business loan. They fucking the business up. I don't want these niggas to act like they don't understand his business when they're being paid to post things
that affect the business. Yeah, they can't trick me to believe that you didn't like Oh why, it's just my opinion. On that same platform, you get paid to spread narratives and get paid to help with buzzes and certain things from labels.
I don't understand how it's even confusing.
My only thing is I feel like everybody got their own perspective. I'm gonna keep bringing that back.
So at the end of the day, the way they're putting out their perspective and getting paid, I respect it to a certain degree because I.
Wasn't raised how they were raised. I don't have the same war as in them.
They could look at things that I say and do as morally wrong because we don't have the same wars.
And once I learned that, brother, that shit changed me.
I'm gonna keep saying that everybody don't have the morals, you know what I'm saying, not to say that they're morals are less to minds and minds of less than there.
That's just how they are.
Yeah, But I just I feel just to piggyback off of what you said. And I'm totally with that and I totally agree, but I just feel like I don't know if I could be saying the same shit, doing
the same or not. He can stop me if I'm wrong, But I just feel like, like you said, when you're dealing with people whose platforms purpose is to basically, for lack of a better way to put it, make or break a nigga, and you're using your platform primarily to break a nigga to try to further your platform, I feel like that's wrong, wrong to you.
If I came for the money, I don't feed my feeder.
That's that's what I'm saying.
I came for the money. This was this is a missing void.
I think if I don't do it, somebody else gonna do a Channel five, Channel two channel never gonna do it.
That's aw niggas looking at.
It like D four doing the same shit, my bad stream folks doing the same shit, pushing out the same shit. So we mad at No, I'm not saying I'm widded or against it, you know what I'm saying, we mad at a nigga for doing the same ship that everybody will do.
The paper.
It's all about to spind like.
You can put out information on your platform responsibility and report the news. You can report the current events just like just like it. Fucking if goddamn Oprah got beat up, Okay, cool, if Oprah got beat up and punched out. Oprah got beat up and punched out, but adding a whole bunch of extra ship like Oprah got beat up and punched out. Now she's getting ready to go broken. And you know what I'm saying this and that all this other bullshit.
To me, how to create my narrative, make this to get paid.
You can't tell me what to do because this is marketing.
At the end of the day, it's all Internet to some people. Let me say this, but to some people, the Internet is fake and they's just only here for the money.
It's on you if you're taking this ship, and it is what I'm saying to.
Some of the niggas feel to who y'all your name Adam and and.
Who is fake?
I don't give fuck how y'all feel about me. I'm here to get the money on your fuck. Who would effect somethings feel like.
And here's the thing. I can respect that.
And that's why when I when I look at the bus this, I'm saying, either of these either these rap guys or because I come from you got to be Oh my god, the level of thinking you gotta have to survive. And when I see that they letting this kind of shit happen, I'm saying, all right, put it in perspective. Let's say academics and meet Meal, let's deal with this with numbers attached to it so people can really get a perspective as to what this looks like.
Academics is someone that is monetized on every single platform his name is meaning if don't nobody send him a dollar, those platforms pay him for what he posts. An attraction attached to whatever he posts. Right, So let's say him and meet Meal has a thing. He him and meet Meal goes at it. He tweets mit Meal, say he makes five thousand dollars off a couple tweets just from Twitter, just from that day him and meet Meal back forth.
That's five grand. Set that to the side.
He goes on YouTube and goals live for five or six hours and talk about meet meal the entire time. Let's give him a low number and say make seven thousand, seventy five hundred for that for that time. That's just you know what I'm saying. That's a load number, right, So I'm gonna put you on some game though. But here here's what's important. So now listen, after that six hours, guess what he does then? Does he repurposed that six hours worth content to now generate another four or five
million views? That's another forty grand, fifty grand, that's one hundred thousand dollars a day going against a nigga who I ain't gonna get an interview with anyway. Thank you. You can't tell you motherfucking move. It's so. So here's the issue though, it's just us. We gotta stop going for that move, going and digging and.
All right, like you said, you say, him and me met or something whatever happened with them, All right, cool. We gotta stop giving that type of power to people.
You can't take it from them. But he got an audience agent. Nah, This is what these guys gotta do. They gotta quit being selfish and spend some money on building niggas like us up, build big facts up.
You gotta build ship up.
That's gonna have the narrative that represents the other side just as loud as the narrative on that side, because I'm not gonna spend all my money building this ship up to fight for niggas yah exactly.
And I just have one thing to say, like about what Black was saying about.
Yeah, I get what he's saying.
People.
It's people out there.
That don't think like us, that don't give a fuck, and that are here on the internet and on social media and all that shit strictly for the money. But the only my only thing is Okay. If that's the case and that's that's how it is, then that's cool. That's what you want to do. But a lot of these niggas who portray the image of I'm here, I don't give a fuck, I'm just gonna keep reporting shit
whatever whatever. When the ship comes back on them or when they have to answer for the bullshit that they're putting out. Instead of them just keeping putting out shit or whatever, whatever, they turn personal and getting their feelings, which means that they actually do give a fuck about what's going on, and they actually do give a fuck about the ship that they're going back and forth with and putting out, and that's contradicting their whole entire platform at the end of the day.
And the problem, the bigger problem, is that there's no representation on the other side.
Yeah, but nah, because at the end of the day, you're gonna get in your feelings when it's done to you. I'm just trying to like what I've learned to do, bro, and it's gonna sound like some crazy shit I've learned to.
Put But if it's if you get in your feelings when it's done and you don't do that shit to other.
Can I say this, I've learned to put myself in other shoes.
That is a That is a gift if you.
Can put yourself in certain people's shoes and mindstate you got this ship master like, because I can't expect for you to be solid because I'm solid. I gotta look at this ship like a fairy tale. What would a sucker do in this moment? Now you gotta say what would a broken nigga do?
Because we gonna stand on principle and say, boy, I ain't gonna get into that. But if i'm if I'm a young creator coming up and saying, Yo, it's probably ain't no chance that I'm gonna get a meet meal interview or or or the baby interview.
But boy, I'm a super fan of them niggas, so I know.
Every little that's these niggas they going are they super fans of these So this is why they sitting back saying, man, I maybe can't. Yeah, but here's the thing. The rappers can't spread theyself then, and they didn't touch everybody that got love for them.
The job ain't to do that.
The job is to feed the people that's in position that represents the narrative. It's a simple one too where I'm from. If a girl disrespect me, I sent.
A girl, I see what you saying?
You did? Oh they went live on Wood the wool today. Well guess what we going live tomorrow to respond to that and cut some of that off, right, You see what I'm saying. Oh they went live. Oh we went live again. But it's it's not good niggas, and we grown me and it's worth money.
Just it ain't gonna happen. Just you dig.
You got to be intentional with this. It's affecting money at this point right, you to ignore Listen, the business requires that you respect narratives.
I don't care if you're real nigga or not any business.
This one in particular you rappers because you live off.
Image, so anything affected your image.
You got to I think.
I think, I think to what I'll be saying all the time is like a lot of people still look at the culture, like even street music, the culture of it. But it's become a sport. So yeah, the same thing as sports. Right, And then Steven A. Smith say, I can say whatever I want about how you play. This is my job.
But then when you got Ryan Clark come on after him and say Steven A. Smith didn't know what he was talking about. No, no, no, And the reason why this football players. Right, but you got to dance with the people that brought you to the party. And these dudes ain't doing nothing for the South or for the people that can speak on their behalf. You did. So that's the problem. It ain't gonna stop. One hundred, it's not gonna stop. These guys got audiences redded Twitter is not gonna stop.
Right, You got to you gotta build some all around it, period.
What you think the biggest the biggest disconnect is from like in his music, I mean in his podcast music industry.
What do you think the biggest disconnect is, I think disregard narratives.
I think that dudes think because they really solid in real life, that they can disregard narratives. You know, the soul, gotta respect the weather, you know, it's certain things that have to work in concert. And I think that the disconnect is just not like I just said, you gotta you just you gotta now have a bulletproof call, because dudes are shooting at you. They making one hundred thousand dollars a day, you know, sending it five thousand dollars
a day attached to shooting at you. All they and sitting in the house getting fatter and fatter and never coming out. You dig I'm making sixty grand a day. I ain't had nothing to talk about. Oh sixty the day, sixty of them all, sixty the next day. And then the disrespectful part is these niggas labels are still going spend.
With these guys. Yeah, like it's layer bro.
It's business though, so at some point you gotta respect that, yo, they got to spend with something. This is what the audience.
Is when they say freedom and speech, right, But I guess the messed up thing is freedom and speech is also the freedom to tell the truth or tell a lie.
Ain't that what it is? In America?
You can say whatever, say what's yeah, whether it's the truth or a lot, that's freedom of speech.
That's true.
But when you sometimes it seems like you get persecuted more for telling the truth, which is completely messed up.
But that's just kind of what it is. Freedom of speech.
Yeah and yeah, I can't get around that, bro. That's what it is. Like I said, it's not gonna stop. You got to look at what's going on across the island politics. You got Trump at the same time saying things like yo, I've been indicted several times. The black folks love me so long.
Let me ask you why you think it is Like some of the artists may be like I guess the word is cautious or fearful coming to platforms like a it's up there, big facts or whatever the case may be.
Why do you think that is?
What I think it is is it's a little lightweight clout chasing by these guys. So what I say, is that chasing audience, and it just tells me they don't understand the business. Like I was just speaking to you about the ability to repurpose these podcast interviews. So I'm still seeing big facts and bird men going crazy still today on TikTok, getting millions of hits on Twitter getting me right. It's certain things that's gonna stand out from an interview perspective that you won't get in a stream.
But here's the thing. They got somebody in a suit or somebody in a position that's convincing them to go there right when they should be intentional with marketing their own shit instead of being told what a goal. Right. So you were just like we were just saying, they're fearful of offending the people that cut their checks.
A lot of artists are fearful of their labels.
I wonder why that is, though.
You got to think about how you got there, and especially if they caused you to do business with you, that mean you got value. So you got to stay on the fact that you got that value and not moving fear in my opinion.
In my opinion, I feel like niggas are scared of labels because they don't understand their power and they feel like the labels have the power to turn their lights on and off.
Right, It could be true in some cases too.
I think the label again has the plug into the infrastructure. Like you were saying, the PR team thing, that's a real propaganda for as long as American history has been documented, has been powerful. You see what I'm saying. These PR teams that work on behalf of some of these labels. These rap niggas get dropped off the label and don't even know how to get their message out no more.
But why you're with the label. That's why you always hit me salute baby, because in the midst of being one of the biggest people in the world, he took time to build me up to come over and fuck with y'all and do whatever he did with the people he cared about it and see fit like yo, that's one of the one I appreciate that because so many of these guys sit on their hands and they can be told to go sit with a white streamer who well, we don't even know if the numbers translate right again,
one hundred thousand people in a stream clicks something, it rises in real time. These are real, live numbers. We're dealing with On YouTube, you can literally sit there and see the views go up. You could see someone climb the charts. I just saw a rep dude post WE number seven, then laid, I don't post WE number three.
These these things move in real time.
So if you have one hundred thousand people in here, why can't they move any number on any platform? But they could be convinced to go sit there, and so again, I just think they gotta be more intentional with their business.
Yeah, yeah, in the world. That make all a sense in the world.
You think that some people might just look at some platforms and just say, like, I know they're gonna get to the bottom of this or that or that or this, and I don't feel like dealing with it.
You saying, Mason, like, NIA don't want to come fake it with certain nigga.
You know what I'm saying. They know they know I see you see what I'm saying.
I like, I ain't and they don't feel like keeping the rig. I can go in and do some old ship from up to promote my ASB, but I don't want to go sit in front of the rials, respect out and sniff me out that that's deep Ship respect that you.
And I was just telling him, and I say it openly, like Roccos all our brother, Rocco, just tell you right now, I ain't gonna do.
That straight, no like.
Respect that this man talk about like you you right, He's like, nah, I'd rather come when I got someone. I want to respect that.
And when he pop out, he's gonna stop because he hit me. He's gonna stop by me. He gonna stop by y'all. And that's what I'm saying. Ain't nobody saying pop out? And when a nigga called on you, it said, Yo, when you do pop out, make sure you feed.
The po with exactly keep it one hundred.
I'm gonna keep one hundred.
Like a lot of my friends that are big rappers and ship, I can't be mad that they had not been on my podcast because let me tell you why that ain't been on that.
Yeah that's the thing that's the difference.
Yeah, Now I can't be I can't take you out of your element, like bro, come to.
Be a fat fuck you doing you?
But you ain't been on nothing right, So it's like you know what I'm saying.
Forks call gqu that nigga I respect that, but I ain't seeing you don't nobody else shit, So I can't feel like I can't take that person right. And you building, you're building some shit to get you some two hundred and fifty million dollar, three hundred million dollar, five hundred
million dollars checks, And I don't know. I don't know what to take to get them kind of chicks cause I never had one right, right, So I can't take how I feel our friendship should be personally because you never came on my ship, right.
But them level them class and niggas day out of that picture, day out of this conversation, because it's a certain class of niggas that they do have that fan base in that that that media footprint with just mean pages and Twitter communities like Pluto. He bulletproofed to a lot of this shit because what happens is when they shoot at him, he got ninety pages this yeah, man, he wanted them. One hey, y'all, forget hey. He wanted them.
He wanted them, and that, as bad as it sounds, that helps with the narratives, you know what I'm saying. But it's the tier under that that you will see. Come sit with me, well, not me, because I don't even require it. But you will see him come sit somewhere and they'll get this low, low level interview and then they pop out next to some of these guys who they've been convinced has this mass following that doesn't translate to him, and they'll give the exclusive and this.
And that, and it's like, Yo, we're building a business.
Down here in the South right, absolute meet because every time he speak, he say wallow and get it.
He has Philly, you know what I'm saying.
Even if it wasn't Philly, if it was even in that area, he you dig. But these Southern artists in particular, I'm talking to y'all just running all around the world. And while we got to speak on your behalf. When y'all drop or being creative in the studio and put it out of it, don't hit right. We gotta say give him time. Hold on, y'all for y'all be critical, y'all forgot he got nine classes because they so right
now that won't even matter. Yeah, you know so, I think man's it's a lot of room for growth in this game, especially from from us down hill. We're way too powerful by ourselves not to be as together and really be moving culture. These interviews really be shaking ship up and moving culture.
I'm disappointed, and trust I'm gonna be alright without it.
What's the shit you can say like you thought yourself for like getting in your own way. It's doun your own growth. You know what I'm saying. You know how we all gotta take accountability life. Man, if I wouldn't be like this, man, shit, I gotta work on I gotta work on this. I gotta work on snapping too fast. You know what I'm saying, Like this, whatever I think, what me and you would not on the podcast.
It's like, don't let them trick me in the reaction or in my feelings, you know, because I'm gonna tell you no, I'm gonna tell you I ain't doing it. I'm gonna tell you certain like I ain't gonna play with nobody because I don't want to be played with. And so when someone playing with me, I gotta learn to say. Man, they do that, and it's being as long. This is what they do, brother, head down, keep building your shit, you know what I'm saying. They play these
games like the passing of the phone. Numbers and all these little things. I'm uninterested because if it don't materialize, if it ain't beneficial, it's artificial, you know what I mean.
Because I gotta be the person to come out.
I know I'm one of the most savveest niggas in the South with a microphone, So any narrative that come out, I can dance with this shit. This is what I do. We media, these niggas is on the court. You never argue with the referee. You see your coach down there. Come on, man, you're doing too much with the call player. You ain't see he got his hand on his back. You stay on the court, my nigga. You see what I'm saying.
So it's it's simple to me, bro, But I guess you know.
I don't know, bro, But hopefully this conversation helps somebody build out or understand it. Don't gotta be me. I want to be front facing with that. Never gotta be loan powerful by itself. I want to be on record saying that because this ain't one of them. This is literally to preserve what little bit of culture we got left that they letting get told down.
In my opinion, how.
Do you feel about the state of the music, street music particularly.
I don't really listen to music a lot, bro. You know, I'm more so listening to books and shit, you know what I mean. Like, I always got a book on when I was out there, I got something on. It's just always feeding me because I gotta I gotta communicate, so I gotta be in take, gotta be hot. So every time I crack a mic, I got something I can say.
I got you.
You see what I'm saying.
So you kind of you kind of saying I'm just saying, you kind of saying that the music, some of it, it ain't saying much.
That's what you gotta say. I'm I kind of feel like that too.
None of less ain't saying nothing right, not for the level of the nigga all.
You're gonna have to listen to R and B. Man good because you know what I'm saying. And I'm gonna take the question. I can't resonate with this. I can't resonate with some ship that ain't making me grow, you know what I'm saying. So if I'm in the space where I want to feel lovey dovey, I listen.
To be so R and B now sometimes it's time to put that motherfucker on and let it go now. But I'm casual now with it. I ain't like I used to be every time I minor cas some music on. Now I got you know, podcasts going, I'm going. It's just because what you can't do is get on these mics and keep using the same words, keep using you got the this is money home maing I come from, I got mine out the pot. Ain't nobody gonna dispute that watching this right, not nobody right. So when I'm
saying it, bro, this is a blessing. I'm taking time with this, my nigga. Right. So sometimes I'll wake up and be like, bro, like I gotta, I gotta just sometimes I can crack the shit and don't even use it. Just you gotta get it that mold, get comfortable in that mold and got to work on it. Bro. It's business is money. Young content creators out there, this is money, bro. You know, fifty sixty rects a day. I just told you,
And that's just that's just one dude. Bro, there's just like repurpose and content on YouTube, like you gotta know how to. But see it's people will take that, and here's some mold game. People will take what I said and start implementing that, right, which is good game. But it's also layers in that. Right.
So even when these dudes take this six hour.
Livestream, there's a there's an art form in how they title this shit. There's an understanding of s CEO to make it rank high in the search results. Right, So it ain't just get a big interview, clip it up, put it out. It's so much more that these guys are so far ahead of these rappers understanding, bro, you know, and so I'm telling y'all this ain't by coincidence that when you Google Meet Meal that his discs from one of these blogger niggas pop up before his music.
There's a supreme understanding of titling.
Man.
Listen, brother, this shit is deep. Yay, bro, he's cold game right up for you. You can type in my name right now. The bullshit come up first.
Because guess why when Bank upload here, you didn't put no tags in it. He didn't have no key words in the description, keywords in the title.
These little niggas can put some bullshit up there.
But understand all of that that we just say, nigga, my content better than your nigga push up. It ain't that. Like I'm kicking in real ship that that ship ain't nothing. It'll make us start to think the streets don't exist on the Internet when I know they line when every nigga I bump into got Instagram, So they can't convince me the streets ain't on the internet street, you know.
So yeah, man, they said else when I got big.
So what's what's what? What's one thing you see for yourself? Like the next level for yourself? I want a hundred men, Okay, we want to fifty. It's all good, but I won't.
I won't five hundred, but one hundred is a hundred is a cold stuff, and I want to be a little grounded in my you did What's what?
These nigga don't got damn like you know what I'm saying.
Then, because that's where I get that energy that somebody got trying to play with the well.
It's a it's a you know, listen. Let me also be clear about this loan don't reach out. I'm yeah, I don't like that. Well, so I got a few of these guys, you know, for me, it's unfortunate because let me break this in.
I grew up.
With the no snitching code, right, I'm saying, even from my mother, Nigga, you can call my mama.
She gonna say he better not till they gonna kill me. They're gonna scared.
When I was coming up, they had my mama and them scared that a snitch.
Gonna get everybody killed. So I come under that law.
Right.
My job was to not pass that to my children, and I'm gonna get to what I'm gonna get to this. Trust me. My job is to not pass that to my children, but to pass to my children that taking responsibility is the highest form of adulthood.
Right.
See, they pass snitching to me. I take snitching and can't get that toxic. That's too toxic. But I I gotta let him know that taking responsibility and accountability it's the highest.
Form of adulthood and manhood.
So you stand on what you do, right. But everything they done smear to snitch thing so bad. I gotta separate my children from that.
Now.
Repurposing that put me in a position to say, oh shit, I got a certain kind of mentality to be able to think like, oh I can kind of I bump in up. You know, I'm gonna let him remain nameless because for me, it ain't no value in saying these guys name They know when they see me what they've done.
Reached out to me.
A couple of these guys in DM ME called me like, bro want to get on the show, and then just didn't get on the show. Bank was telling me not to take that away, right, And I know he probably got that energy. He got this energy now and I love it. I tell him I love it. Where it's like now, I can respect that. I can't.
You feel me?
You say you can't respect somebody they change their accountability and taking responsibility is the highest.
Form of adulthood.
Why I'm lying to another man about anything any way?
Man, you from another one. I'm respecting manhood.
But niggas ain't me.
That's what's sucking me up.
But I guess I'm trying to understand what is what is the thrill in DM in one of us is saying, I'm gonna come and see you.
Let me say this, Jay, let me say this.
A nigga could see some ship that you do so hard and in the moment just want to salute you and give your flowers by saying, bring you hard. I want to fuck with you, but I cannot be ready to do an interview. And the way you carried it from that point on that damn because I reached out to na anything kind of any feeling because.
I ain't ready.
Now loom Mad made him slick this in a nigga, any whole ass niggas to reach out to you, and.
I guess and I ain't saying that.
But I know you ain't saying but now a nigga know you will be up, So why put me in that position?
How am I putting a position I'm saying I want to do. I ain't saying I'm over here in the kitchen. I ain't bothering nobody. You said wait till you ready for you man, don't even you could tell me salute without talking about getting on the show.
It's the same. It's it's the same. It's the same. Like niggas do that every game.
You raping.
Know what I'm saying, and but but they be so extra out though. So boy, you the motherfucking boy. I'm talm about you, but I'm saying, if I'm next, treat me like I'm that.
I'm treating like I'm that because I'm acknowledging that.
Nah, you acknowledgement. Don't you trying to me acknowledge me and think you go far if you wrap I'm in the bids. I don't know if you.
Rapping, somebody say they're gonna don't go farther, They're gonna jump on your song.
What's the time limit for that? Does that mean niggatt to do it?
Yeah?
Tell this about but hold on too, because I got a lot of people that watch me.
Let me be click.
Because they may come off ericant. I do appreciate people that appreciate what I do. I want to be clear with that we're talking about in this business space where they think they can keep either you muzzled or use your voice when they need it. Sure, so my thing is, don't utilize me and then don't come fuck with our business. I got you, That's all I'm saying. Bro, Like dudes will see me out like.
You you the truth?
You that you that cool?
You supposed to treat everything like what it is.
Don but.
Go ahead.
I'm with you to tell me because don't tell me you're coming know where what.
You think I feel like, Okay, so here's here's my thing. No, because it's like it's like a lot of these niggas, a lot of these niggas feel like they have to make that initial contact to.
Prevent any other.
Thing. Like they feel like if I say it first, if I say it first, then you know what I'm saying, and I put it out there first, then okay, it's on my time, or I really don't even have to do it. I just said it and you know this and that blah blah blah. But the reason that a lot of these niggas don't follow up with those first reach outs in those first contexts is because these niggas be scared of the truth.
These niggas be scared of the truth, and these niggas be scared that the truth is.
Gonna come out. And they know that when you said yes, bro, when you sit with certain people, it's no, it's no stopping it. Like I can pull the wool over these other niggas eyes and I can say what I want to say and they'll go for it and they'll help me push the bullshit up and you know what I'm saying all that ship, but certain people, it's.
Not gonna fly.
And then I'm gonna get in the middle of my interview sitting with these certain people that are gonna pull the truth out of me.
I'm gonna get stuck and I'm gonna look stupid, and.
I'm gonna reach out to you before you feel like I'm hating, because I know I should. You know what I'm saying something, Come over them niggas right then, like Brooke, he doing what you're doing?
Oh, I'm coming to fuck with niggas. Say that just offer.
I feel like I have to do because this is the type of nigga Pete fake ship?
Yeah, but that was fake what you're doing? How you gonna beat me with fake ship? Not Pepe fake ship? Right? You coming with fake ship to a nigga to peep fake ship?
How is it feeling?
Because because you ain't got it, it's hollow you you know you bullshitting with it? You know what I'm saying, Like you know it ain't I'm gonna tell you what the niggas doing.
I'm gonna tell you the word for it. No, this is the actual word.
What's the word.
They don't be ready to come on in?
They be flirt he said, nigga be flirting to see if I fuck with you, let me nigga trying to take on the initial let's start sending each other funny ship, and then niggas want to do.
What he's saying is why they go out of town and let him hit it one night, you.
Know, because they feel like that shit is or why lie to something abou Listen, brother, because I'm doing business. I done got three four five deals in everybody face. I don't even got a co host. I understand this business. I'm not somebody that got nobody reaching out to folks. I don't even know how to do that. You see what I'm saying. So I'm saying, why if you see me, you see bank, you see us, you you brother, look at me. I'm coming from the darkness, y'all niggas playing
with this shit. I'm trying to lead a dokness this serious to.
Meness I'm saying, but what you're saying what Black was saying about these niggas flirting and you know what I'm saying, want to be courted and want to go on dating ship, bro, But you hit me first and you say that you want to come on my platform and you want to do an interview knowing that you don't have solid intentions of actually doing that.
Now I feel like I'm a hoof and now.
You see what y'all in y'all feeling tell you.
Got no expectations to a nigga.
Let me tell you something, Please Jay, Please all right, I'm listening. I've been saying this ship forever, Bro.
The only way you be the fake nigga it to be faking in them.
But what if you don't want to play that game?
Is this is the game we're in. This is not the streets.
This is some fake ship.
That's the niggas tell me hit me.
I know he faking me out.
If I see him, I'll be like, hey, yea brother, I know you be being it, bro, faking that's hard. I ain't listen. It ain't my feeling. You don't never forget to happen right around telling me and my man, why you shaking this nigga?
Why not?
Because at the end of the day, you see, this ship ain't stopping no matter if you come on this year, then what I'm doing, Yeah, niggas, and I'm having a big fact ship show spected with bank hiking with bank linking in linking us. Hey man, this shit don't stop because of your interview now, but if you want to play it, okay, cool, bro, you might not be ready.
Nah fuck that I'm talking about this. I'm talking about the business side because again, were talking about the niggas is popping downs.
Got money with niggas even in the streets. You only get money with your for other niggas that like, mind, I don't spect to get no money with these niggas. But the ship that we're doing, Bro, ain't no where in the fun that niggas in this city or whoever don't feel like, Bro, I want to be a part of that because we're doing some.
Huge ship with everything we do but hold up.
But at the end of the day, I'm not in my feeling because I wouldn't if I was in, I wouldn't reach out to them niggas.
But I can't let you frame this like. I can't let you frame this like feelings because it is because it's feelings. Shit happened when niggas is mad. Hold up, but well, brother, shit happened when niggas.
Okay, but there was a feeling still though, No, no, no, it's the end of the day, if a nigga reach out to you and don't pull up on you, and.
What what a problem occurs? The problem occurs because you feel no, no, no.
The problem.
The problem occurs because we're in a business, we're operating in.
The what I'm saying, okay, the first when he first start bushing.
What happens after that?
Inside within you you feel like he's playing with you.
You feel like you feel.
Like you feel I'm not saying it's absence of feelings. I'm saying no, no, no. When you frame it that way, it seems like that it's all feelings. No, no, no, it's not. It's all it's feelings.
Its first feelings didn't come morals because I got to know my more. My feelings become coming from my morals.
I can't say it's feelings.
Feels from how I am, my perspective.
But I feel I think what LRDA is trying to say what you're saying about framing it like feelings, because if you're framing it like it's feelings, that's making him seem like he's emotional like a lady.
Check ourselves. That ain't no.
I had to bro please please say this No matter what we do or how we try to make it seem like or whatever we want to feel like. At the end of the day, the only reason why a motherfucker have a problem with another motherfucker is because of the way they feed.
Not in business, it don't matter.
It's not no business, no no country. Game in son, you don't want to see.
That's the thing, the whole music being, the whole music being this operas on the whole music being this operation on this like this barter system. That's not contracts in every fancy that his sister. But we gotta weed out to fake ship. No, I'm saying when it pertains, when it pertains the media. We just spoke about how you now have a machine or people who represent a certain narrative that's affecting business right on the other side, and they're loud about that. At this time you need a
line of defense here. You have allies in media, but those airlines in media are not represented on your role out. So I'm saying that everything in the business operates on the barer system. I ain't never had a contract with someone who has came on the shows. You're right by what you said.
Hello, Jay, please let me get this ship out because this is gonna help some people.
But it ain't about what you said.
Hold hold on, you're right, you're right by what you're saying.
But at the end of the day, when a motherfucker'll do business the proper way, you feel like they should.
What happens now feel a way?
Yeah, but you frame any wrong though, And let me.
Say this please, I don't please. So what Black is saying is all the.
Way correct, like, okay, it is definitely feelings that caused the issues or whatever. But what I want to say is is that when you have been I don't even want to say wrong, but when somebody volunteers some fake ship tell you there's nothing wrong with feeling a way about it, the issues the problem in the issue comes in where it's nothing wrong with having feelings, and it's nothing wrong with feeling a way, it's nothing wrong with
none of that ship. But the problem comes in when your emotions begin to overpower your intelligence.
Yes, exactly, and that ain't gonna never happen, right, it's high level game being put down.
But what will.
Happen is because English cloud to clouded.
When your emotions cloud you're thinking to the point where you can't even think straight and all you are thinking about is these emotions.
Then that's where you fucked up.
To me, anytime you get in your feelings, you're putting too many expectations on people. That's my initial feelings is ain't nobody gonna keep.
It solid till they keep it?
See you signed, but you don't done so much.
It's human nature to be in your feeling, but you don't.
Done so much beings in this being this to to not acknowledge the.
Fact that there's an expectation on and an understanding on on on understanding right, and so like if we, if we, I'm telling you that, can't nobody come and tell me something and not do it and then I see him and speak to him and act like that's cool. I don't play the game like that. Maybe I should, but that yeah, that's what I'm telling you.
No, no, no, If you if I did something that went against how you feel and you see me and you don't speak to me, you're in your field.
Staying away from poison ivy you.
You don't know.
You don't say the nigga walking through the garden and it's feeling when we say well that ain't no good.
Stay on away from that ship. That ship spreads and it gets on you and it fucks with and you break.
Out in the hide, right, I'm telling you when I see one of these niggas, that's how I'm looking at these niggas. It's yeah, here go crazy. I get to break it out in So I'm because I ain't asking or nothing, bro. And then when I'm leaving where I'm leaving from, put some respect on on knowing that big like he might be in your time, I seeing me fast.
Hold up, but hold up, but ken a nigga, you know what I'm saying. This is a great conversation. I like this for people that's watching, Like I'm just saying. I know I'm a Gemini, so I go in and out right, I can.
Tell a Nigga'm gonna do some ship for a long year's time and do it on my time.
This is how I am nigga feel about it. That's what I was about and would do something. We can shoot it out whatever the nigga want to do. And guess that's how I feel. But I ain't faking you out, no, not just ain't ready even And I'm gonna be responsible to you.
But like, hey, Bromna, that's what it is.
Just I ain't ready yet.
That's the that's the that's the that's that's that's the key part communication.
That's what you're saying.
You saying you gotta do it all your time, like real shit, You saying you're gonna do it all your time and leaving it. Okay, I said I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna do it all my time. It's basically like saying fuck me.
You saying that.
He yes, yes, if you feel bad, I'm.
Gonna do it.
I'm ready.
Hey, I'm not ready. I'm not ready. I'm still gonna do it. I got you coming.
I'm not ready.
You Jay, you screamed this big fat. I means up there podcast solidified deals on every aspect of the game, right, So that's one thing. But if I'm an up and comer and you done put that under me, you gotta think myigga. Yeah, So I'm fighting for them niggas home because I'm gonna keep saying it. I'm gonna strike go
whether nigga comes shoveling or not. You did, so I'm telling you I'm fighting for the niggas under me that's running into you, niggas that spending such and such on the meet and greet and get back here, show you they podcast or Instagram and you go to popping the fake ship.
And that's what I'm talking about.
So that's my thing is again, man of your word, we stand on principal, right, Bro, you know how big I am. Dang you ain't nothing. Thank Have you ever seen a nigga next to me? Have you ever seen me somewhere go out? I'm never playing. Ain't nobody under know what's saying nothing about me? I'm the truth, right, I'm the truth, truth, truth. So for me, Bro, I'm looking at these nigga saying, I'm looking at these niggas saying, bruhs, niggas under me that I'm gonna lit the way a
little bit far. They don't figured out. Oh he got with baby man. Maybe if I can get with and I know him, I'm a fan on my love him, I might get up under me telling man, I remember when you drive and just feed it, you're digging. Then you promise him some ship. He go back home, tell his marm he I don't know what's going on when I'm fighting for the market. Yeah, I'm fighting for the field under Yeah, he ain't got his number in anything. Just stop as his girl.
You ain't even got.
Jay that would put you in.
But I'm telling you yeah nah, but it ain't gonna put us in our feelings because this ship moving. But the young nigga, the little even not young, the old content creating nigga. That's thirty thirty two. Yeah, it's like yo, man, I've been to the penitentiary. We were locked up to get whatever it might be. And you go with promise from something and then don't stand on it. I have a little respect for that problem. Stand on your word. It ain't feelings, it's responsibility, expectations.
It's feeling. We can we can try to.
Yea will agreed to get.
What you think if you take this Just imagine if you take that ship, it's fuel and I'm gonna see the same nigga interview this nigga on my big.
Sometimes you need that shot though, but you need that shot in the especially in an over saturated podcast market.
Right.
So again, if you not us and you popping out now, it's.
Problems, justified feelings.
That's what I'm saying I'm saying I ain't in my feelings. I gotta be cold with that because of the Internet. It's weird, right, and there's narratives that run around. I gotta be clean saying that. So when they clip that, they clip that. You know what I'm saying, right, clip that part with me saying it ain't feeling for.
Up and coming nigga. It could be his feelings.
Yeah, he gonna be in this because he's he could special.
Yeah, right now, you're just shed light on nigga doing exactly they try to do. A real nig try to do a nigga who, brother, I don't even talk to I wouldn't even talk to a nigga like you regularly. I got a podcast, you got a name, so I bring you only, But I don't even talk to niggas like you comparably. So that's what I'm on personally, Like Bro, the niggas I wouldn't talk to. I don't even want to sit next to the niggas on right. And I told y'all that play well, how can you play this
game in this business? Do y'all struggle with trying to get him to understand that your bank.
I think we I think we find the fine line of just balance, you know what I'm saying.
But I feel like I'm.
Gonna keep one hundred bro, and I've been drinking the wine. I feel our best ship is Big Fat Friday. This is only me, Baby Jay DJ screen shot Jones Kodak.
That's our crew.
Folk.
If you not to start your ship, if you live by a guess, you die by again. You bring your nigga on your ship, and he make it. He the only only way you do numbers.
You ain't doing no numbers, right, That's why I built it, how I built it exactly.
Nigga was just you. You ain't have no guess. It was just you, nigga.
When I first You're like, boy, you.
All, yeah, it was just you.
You just rating the game.
Yeah, this is what you were doing.
You were narrating the game. I don't seem like three four interview, three fold clips. Then I seen that that last one.
I was like, boy, you're gonna cray. I don't know which one word you talking about something.
But what I'm saying is until you become to start your own ship, that's looking to me, that's looking for a nigga. That goddamn a crutch even though we need that. But off the rip, you already got loan to a point to where and up there to a point to where. Niggas fuck with that, and then you're saying your court fan like boy my bother god baby on him.
Then you got a cord that's gonna push you.
All they trying to Okay, I pop out with jay z J gone next week.
That ship nothing and he don't even want to repost it here you know they collaboration. He don't want to no collabse I don't like it. It's business, brother, Why I keep telling you, bro like it's business.
It's just like a rap This is just like a rap feature. I'm telling you the same same ship.
If a nigga do it verse for a nigga and the nigga do the video everything, but then when the ship.
Dropped, hold mass, it's different.
Well, when the ship dropped and you can't get the.
Nigga to post it collab posting nothing and can't get the paper time, should you be in your feelings?
No, because if they did the verse on the strength and if you can't get it clear, if they're on a label and they hit you and you've been hit and I've been here to say I want you to do the video. We might say, hey man, this is what is gonna be for the video.
I gotta go.
I'm gonna give you a prime example the right with it, come on with Yeah, it's like Pluto, my nigga. He called me, he sent me a song. You kid this fuck, let's do it. Let's drop you a single, twenty five squaes and he on the look what the ship hardest?
Fuck? Yeah cool?
I don't want to shoot the video and all this ship. I got this, I got the song, did the verse, shot the video. I mean got the videos lined up and everything for nine o'clock am.
Shoot time.
This nigga didn't show up to like two thirty. Yeah, get what I got. The whole hood out there.
We party.
I would give a nigga, don't come.
To your line.
You can come.
I'm saying next.
Week we still be out here where you called me for a favor.
And get what the nigga said. Bro, A lot didn't have it because you say twin bitness in a lot. They had a cause to to one got to whatever I said, Bro, I don't give what time you come even call them where you at bro and we you know like bro. He probably called it team like because all them is over there now they they wait'ting on you said that.
No chilling. But see here's the difference with that, right because the value number one. Even if you paid for for that and they don't do that, I still would argue it's okay depending on the artist.
Somebody like Pluto. You don't get a post with that.
Now this's his.
He said, he said, I'm letting yeah bathing. Now, yeah, you don't get a post with that. It's just that because that hold a certain value. No matter what happens. You hit me THEESUS legacy acts. When you get in these buildings, they got a certain thing called a legacy act. What a legacy act is meaning you generate a certain amount of money just south catalog. You can stop the day and the label still is like you good. But some of these guys a poached don't go with that.
But for music, the value lives in the audio, and so if that audio is cleared, that's your money. Brother. They don't never got to pop out with you or nothing. If you want to meet you one of us and you get one of them. You know what to take it and what to do.
You know what I mean?
But I think music is different interviews is it's like, bro, And then you gotta think it's totally different landscape.
Bro.
You know what I mean?
I look at all this shit the same. I just feel like to me, everybody got their own ways about it. I don't know what happened last night. I don't know what happened when I feel like you're supposed to.
I don't know.
I don't know what. I don't know what's going on in your life, if I mean it, just like you, We've been fucking fucking around with each other for like two years, you know what I'm saying.
Maybe three? Yeah, long enough saying just on some regular ship.
What's up?
Bro?
You heard right?
Support you to support me? That's just what it is, nigga, all right.
I just did your ship maybe six months or eight months ago, and you just on big thing, right, Neither one of us in our feeling because we knowing.
Bro, Let get this.
I'm trying to bring it to bedtime. You trying to bring me at the bench time. This is what it is.
But there's a synergy too, right, So again there's a clear disconnect with these guys or these rappers. What happens is when you get to a certain status, some of these people start to have a weird god complex where they're they're quick to just say whatever in the moment and disconnect.
Right.
So I'm telling you, we always got synergy. We always when we see each other, we take some time. Whatever it is, it's always. It ain't never. It don't never feel funny because I'm high level nigga. I'm high level nigga. Bro, I feel it. You ain't got to say much nigga. I done survived off in steam, so I feel things. Yeah, you see what I'm saying. So that's what I mean.
When you reach out to me, it's like it almost felt like a trick played because you reach out to me and then it's like, WHOA, what was that?
Damn. I ain't ask no nigga for nothing.
When I'm looking in the pot, make sure you lock up right. I'm over the stove, my nigga. I'm hustling every day, podcasting, I'm somewhat doing something to do. Don't make me raise my head up.
And you did, like you trying to take me off my game what I'm doing exactly.
It's like, bro, respect.
That would put me in my feeling.
I'm just saying, Bro, I'm hustling by myself. Bank, you ain't never seen a team with me. You know I serious this, You know how serious?
I got three deals, six seven different times face to face with nobody. I've told you, I walked into this nigga. The nigga at a hotel, had this ship set up just like this, three folk cameras.
You know what I'm saying, nigga.
And here's the proof here here and the whole thing. Yeah, and here here here's.
The killer part.
Right, here's the killer part to let you know. I had to come in, Like I said, I come in because now I'm cashing in. So if anybody had something to do with it, or funded it, or was involved in any way, this is the time to be here. You see what I'm saying. So for me, you got to know, bro, this is real life. I'm telling you, I understand the business. Whether they take what I'm saying and view it as me being I'm telling you, brother,
we use each other. And there is cards in this space where media can stand out and provide a narrative that helps business when these other narratives are taking business.
That's all.
My main point is again, if a girl disrespect me, I got a girl for yo jay. What's that name? Yeah, I can't do nothing with no girl. Why the fuck is the rappers arguing with the media. The media handles the narrative side of things. You have the music side of things.
Yeah, absolutely one correct, come back bro, we do Yeah, I got I said we do Big Fat Friday man.
Yeah, when we got one seat open. Lover, you're in the city, we want you to come.
