In 2023 Australia began implementing Tranche 2 of its AML and CTF reforms – part of the government’s plan to align Australia’s AML regime with international standards. The reforms have far-reaching implications for Lawyers, Accountants, and Real Estate Professionals, who will be required to take a more active role in deterring money laundering and terrorist financing.
