They also extended Julius Randle the next morning. Leon Rose, Scott Perry, Brock Aller, and the rest of the front office deserve some high praise for this one. The Knicks are finally running things professionally again.
The Yankees picked up another series win this week at Yankee Stadium. They defeated the peasant Baltimore Orioles in two of three games, scoring over 10 runs in each of the final two contests. We can talk all we want about "accepting the split" against a team that's owned the Yankees, but the bottom line is this team still has just five more wins than losses after 57 games into the season.
