After an inconsistent three and a half months of the season, Aaron Boone's Yankees looked like they were finding a way to head into the break on a high note. They took two from Seattle, the first two from Houston, and had a five-run lead in the ninth inning on Sunday night. But for the third time in the past two weeks they allowed at least six runs in the ninth to blow the game.
