The Knicks decided to draft Obi Toppin with the No. 8 and make some trades later on in the draft. I give my opinion on this controversial night for New York and show my LIVE reaction to it as well!

In our latest episode we go over some final pre-draft hearsay, covering the Russell Westbrook situation, the developing Gordon Hayward story, and more. As for the draft itself, the Knicks have the No. 8 on Wednesday as well as the 27th regarding round one. We talk Obi Toppin, Killian Hayes, and Kira Lewis Jr. a bit more.
Gary Sánchez has went from a rising star to a sinking ship for the Yankees. The soon-to-be 28-year old catcher may just be out of lifelines in New York, which is why he's rumored to be dealt this offseason. We've discussed a potential J.T. Realmuto signing in previous shows, but what about taking a flyer on veteran Yadier Molina, which could be a bit more realistic? We also get into the MVP voting from Thursday night as well.
The Yankees sent out a qualifying offer to DJ LeMahieu 10 days ago but it got rejected on Wednesday. If you have brains you shouldn't panic. Later I touch on potential free-agent signings like Charlie Morton, Andrelton Simmons, and of course, Michael Brantley.
With the 2020 NBA Draft next Wednesday on November 18th, teams are starting to make their final preparations. The Knicks, who have three draft picks this year, have been linked with a number of names but it's the player they take at No. 8 that could define their future. Do they go for fit, talent, both, or throw some kind of curveball with a trade?
It's officially the offseason. With an unpredictable market, it's going to be interesting to see where players like Trevor Bauer, Francisco Lindor, DJ LeMahieu, Michael Brantley and many more end up. The Yankees of course, are suiters for any big name who hits the market. Will they strike heavy again this winter like the last? Maybe they even get rid of some of their own?
Back in the early summer, it was reported that the Knicks were interested in Detroit Pistons big Christian Wood. Those rumors have resurfaced of late. Leon Rose has also been reportedly interested in Michael Kidd-Gilchrist as well.
Promising youngster Mitchell Robinson is heading into his third season but will also be playing under his third head coach. Meanwhile, the Knicks have been intrigued by many draft prospects over the last several months; RJ Hampton being one of the first to interest them. UNC's Cole Anthony on the other hand, has not impressed the Knicks much at all. In this episode I discuss all of the above.
It was reported by Ian Begley last night that the Knicks are considering taking on a hefty contract via trade if they get assets in return. Also, Kira Lewis Jr. recently worked out with the Knicks after interviewing through Zoom.
The Knicks have reportedly been taking a look at BYU prospect Yoeli Childs. A forward, Child brings size & versatility to the NBA with him. Do the Knicks decide to select Childs it would likely be in the second round, but he is also projected to be undrafted.
The Knicks should follow a similar path that the Miami Heat went down in order to start contending again. Tonight I discuss that, thanks to coming across a fabulous article written by Allen Settle from FanSided's Daily Knicks.
The news remains extremely slow and so the rumors keep flowing. In the latest episode we discuss veteran point guard Chris Paul, draft prospect Immanuel Quickley, and more.
The Knicks have been rumored to be pursuing Russell Westbrook in a trade. They've also been reportedly thinking about trading up for LaMelo Ball or James Wiseman in the draft. None of these are rumors I take very serious though.
Draft prospect Isaac Okoro has been a name the Knicks have paid attention to during their offseason. In the trade market, we have heard a lot of rumors as well. Most of them likely false, but DeMar DeRozan, Victor Oladipo, and the Knicks' own Dennis Smith Jr. have all been in some headlines. In this show, I discuss all of these guys.
The Knicks are considering trading back in the draft for Tyrese Maxey, but I have another player in mind if they do. Also, we talk more on how Tom Thibodeau should use big man Julius Randle.
Tonight we discuss Fred VanVleet, Tom Thibodeau, RJ Barrett, and other topics amongst the New York Knicks.
We are slowly transitioning to the fun and exciting New York Knicks! Hooray... This time around I discuss some potential draftees the Knicks could select, some offseason ideas, and more.
The season is over.
In a last minute bonus episode, @mfacch23 & I discuss Game 1 of the ALDS and also look ahead.
The Yanks defeated the Indians in the WCS after a dominant Game 1 and a roller coaster Game 2. The bats were on fire but the pen not so much. It was a fun series but the Yankees are going to have to tighten up next week as they take on the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALDS. Job's not finished.
The Yankees finished up their regular season seven games worse than the division winning Rays, landing in second place at 33-27 (.550). It was very inconsistent and rough to watch at times. Hopefully they can turn the page against the Indians in the wildcard round this week, but we will see.
After winning 10 straight, the Yankees have lost four of their last five. They have three games remaining and still haven't clinched 2nd place. The bats are hot & cold, the defense is sloppy, and the pitching has regressed a tad. The Yankees have the Miami Marlins to host for the final three games at Yankee Stadium.
The Yankees just took two more this past weekend at Fenway. The first two games were enough to clinch the series, while the Yankees also clinched playoff berth with Seattle's loss on Sunday. Later, @leo_rodriguez1222 and I discuss the NBA postseason, the NFL, and the UFC.
Not too long ago the Yankees were up in flames in the worst way possible. But now they're in flames in a much better way. This team is on fire at the moment, breezing through important divisional games with ease every night. With a vengeful sweep against Baltimore, and their latest cakewalk against the Blue Jays, the Bombers have now flipped the script by going from fourth place to second place within about a week. Right now they are in control of the Jays by 2.5 games with 10 games left of the ...
The Yankees found a bit of a rhythm. They took the final game of the Toronto series (in Buffalo), and then got revenge on the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium this weekend, sweeping them in four. The Bombers have now put themselves in a situation where they can fight for second place as opposed to the mediocre eighth seed.
The dreadful season continued this week in Buffalo for the Yankees, this time against the Jays. The Bombers took an egregious loss on Monday, surrendering 10 runs in one inning, and came back with a lifeless performance on Tuesday by scoring just once. They would win the final game of the set, but overall, the Yankees need to find some consistency soon.
The Yankees continued their disappointing season with a miserable series against Baltimore this past weekend. Things are as bleak as they've looked in a long while as the regular season continues to wind down. Diehard Yanks fan @ryanmcspedon & I discuss the state of the club.
The Yankees continue to get bitched by the Tampa Bay Rays. I am sick and tired of it. I am angry. Hear me roar.
After a seven-game losing streak, the Yankees turned things around mid-series with the visiting Mets. I recap it all. Also, @dom.randazzo & I later discuss the Yankees' highs & lows of late, too.
Julius Randle put up productive numbers for the Knicks this past season but it didn't translate to winning nor helping the team develop their youth. The Knicks have to make a decision regarding Randle soon.
