R.J. Carbonebd4blog.com
R.J. Carbone presents "BD4," where there is No Better Way to get your Yankees & Knicks analysis than by tuning into this podcast. I glorify the Yanks (& Knicks) when they win, and of course, complain about them when they lose. Yanks episodes every series, Knicks every game!

Yanks Keep Sinking (Episode 150)

The Yankees are back, but still not doing so hot. The bats kept struggling in Atlanta, while Gerrit Cole took his first loss of the season as well. Also, Aaron Judge has returned and Aaron Judge has left!

Yanks Humiliated At Home (Episode 148)

The Yankees just got embarrassed on their home field by the hated Rays this past week, and to make matters better, there may be a few more DL stints coming up. Nice!

Yanks Handle Sux Once More (Episode 147)

The Yankees keep rolling! After a strong series in Atlanta, the Bombers took on the visiting Red Sux and swept them in four. Big performances from both the bats and arms helped the Yankees prevail. Gerrit Cole had his first dominant outing from start to finish. And Clint Frazier is back and on a mission to stay!

Yanks/Braves With Kyle & Eddie (Episode 146)

The Yankees bounced back to start the week off, sweeping the visiting Atlanta Braves at Yankee Stadium for two. The bats woke up, while the starting pitching was solid as well. Kyle & Eddie also join the show to talk about the series, the state of baseball, controversial topics, and more.

Yanks Sweep Sux In Bronx (Episode 145)

After sweeping the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards last week, the Yankees headed home for the first time this season to take on the hated Boston Red Sux and did the same. They are on fire at the moment, and it's in thanks to Aaron Judge especially, who is tearing the cover off the ball.

Yanks Sweep O's In Two (Episode 144)

The Yankees went into Camden Yards and swept the Baltimore Orioles yet again this past week. Game 1 was fairly easy but Game 2 was quite the opposite, post rain delay. Gerrit Cole, Aaron Judge, Luke Voit, Giancarlo Stanton, and DJ LeMahieu all looked sharp.

Yanks Open Strong In DC (Episode 143)

The Yankees defeated the Nationals in two of three games to open up their 2020 season. It wasn't the prettiest series but it was enough to walk away feeling good.

Yanks Start Prepping (Episode 140)

Spring Training is starting up! Hopefully this time we can get to the regular season without interruption, and the Yanks can do their thing.

Yanks Start Prepping (Episode 140)

Spring Training is starting up! Hopefully this time we can get to the regular season without interruption, and the Yanks can do their thing.

Knicks Waive Trier (Episode 139)

The New York Knicks made a questionable move the other day, waiving a promising young prospect in Allonzo Trier. It has left a lot of fans confused but it was also a move that is not surprising if you've paid attention.

Yanks - UFC & More With Anthony Elbert (Episode 136)

Still not much going on in baseball or with the Yankees specifically, but I float around some topics for future episodes. Later in the show, Police Officer Anthony Elbert & I bullshit for a little, discuss UFC, and then dive into everything that's going in the world right now.

Yanks & MLB Update (Episode 134)

Finally, some Yanks talk! It's been a long while since we've talked Yankees (for obvious reasons) so I thought I'd give a real update and talk about the state of the season and more!

Knicks Lottery Draft Scouting: Tyrese Haliburton (Episode 133)

After two years at Iowa State, Tyrese Haliburton is entering the NBA draft. The Knicks will likely have an opportunity to draft the point guard being that he isn't amongst the best prospects in the lottery. He's a safe pick who will probably be a very solid role player in the NBA.

Knicks Lottery Draft Scouting Anthony Edwards: (Episode 132)

Anthony Edwards, a combo guard from UGA, is an athletic specimen who could give the Knicks a boost in the backcourt. He's explosive at the rim and likes to shoot off the bounce. Some of Edwards' flaws seem major though. He struggles with his decision making offensively and needs to put in more effort defensively. Is he the best fit for the Knicks?

Knicks Lottery Draft Scouting: Cole Anthony (Episode 131)

Cole Anthony is a combo guard from UNC who has elite shot creating abilities with some solid athleticism to go with it. His ceiling seems to be pretty high but some of his deficiencies concern a lot of folks.

May 29, 202031 minEp. 131

Knicks Lottery Draft Scouting: Obi Toppin (Episode 130)

Obi Toppin is a power forward from Dayton who really turned heads with an electric sophomore season. He would be an unorthodox pick for the Knicks, who are expected to look for a guard in the lottery, but Obi's also one of the more talented players in the draft. Go follow @mfacch23 on Twitter.

May 28, 202030 minEp. 130

Knicks Lottery Draft Scouting: Deni Avdija (Episode 129)

Deni Avdija is an interesting prospect to discuss. I feel as if he is a high floor guy as opposed to a player with a high ceiling. His ceiling seems to be as a high-end rotation role player who could really benefit the Knicks in terms of giving them their playmaker, but is he worth the pick so early?

May 27, 202023 minEp. 129

Knicks Lottery Draft Scouting: Killian Hayes (Episode 128)

Killian Hayes is a lead guard who has a knack for creating shots and thrives especially well in PnR. He has upside as both a shooter & defender too. The Knicks should seriously consider drafting Hayes if they are lucky enough to land in a good spot in the lottery, being that he would help them in many phases where they lack.

May 26, 202026 minEp. 128

Knicks Lottery Draft Scouting: LaMelo Ball (Episode 127)

LaMelo Ball is the first solidified lottery prospect that I'm breaking down. Ball would bring an immediate improvement to a Knick backcourt lacking a playmaker of his caliber, but do the intriguing pros outweigh the concerning cons?

May 25, 202032 minEp. 127

Knicks Late First & Second Round Draft Scouting: Malachi Flynn (Episode 124)

Malachi Flynn is a San Diego State transfer who has a chance at being a decent backup PG for the Knicks. His lack of elite athleticism & size may hold him back some, but his smarts, defensive fundamentals, and passing ability all show enough upside to where I think he'll become a successful secondary playmaker in the NBA.

May 19, 202022 minEp. 124

Knicks Late First & Second Round Draft Scouting: Markus Howard (Episode 123)

Markus Howard is a very high-risk/high-reward prospect in this year's draft, who's expected to fall late in the second round. He could bring the Knicks some scoring punch off the bench as a good shot creator, but will almost definitely hurt them defensively because of his tiny frame. Is he worth the risk?

May 18, 202026 minEp. 123

Knicks Late First & Second Round Draft Scouting: Grant Riller (Ep. 122)

Charleston's Grant Riller could be a potential sleeper prospect in this year's draft. He would help the Knicks address issues in both the playmaking & scoring department as an off-the-bounce scoring guard. The big knock on Riller was the level of competition he faced.
