Yanks: Team & Player Goals (Episode 91)
The Yankees aren't starting for quite a long while, but when (or if) they do, I've got some goals I would like for all of them to achieve this season.

The Yankees aren't starting for quite a long while, but when (or if) they do, I've got some goals I would like for all of them to achieve this season.
The New York Knicks' 2020 season is most likely complete (thank goodness). Tonight we dive into a whole bunch of topics, while reviewing each player's season and grading the entire roster and unit as a whole.
Just a little update on the Knicks, their 2020 season, and what is to come.
Tonight we started our new mini-series called "Hibernation Frustration," where we keep busy during the hiatus of sports (primarily the MLB & NBA) by hitting the sticks for a livestream. We begin the series playing some MLB The Show 20 while discussing the Yankees. And my apologies for the low quality audio. The sound waves weren't cooperating tonight.
The Knicks continue to lack any kind of consistency with this starting lineup. Mike Miller needs to shake things up but with such little time remaining I highly doubt he will.
Tonight I break down (literally almost broke down) the Knicks' stubborn decision making. They're still prioritizing veteran minutes over the development of their youth. I also touch on the Chris Paul trade rumor.
The Knicks have won two straight behind the likes of RJ Barrett & Mitchell Robinson. Both scored a career-high over the past two games. In off-the-court news, Leon Rose was officially announced yesterday while Spike Lee threw an unwarranted temper tantrum that I couldn't care less about!
Back with the progress report after missing last month's! But nothing has changed, unfortunately. Still bleak. Still depressing. Still. The. Knicks.
Yankees diehard Dom Randazzo & I discuss the pessimism surrounding the team right now with all of the injuries, including the latest news on Aaron Judge.
Mike & I discuss a lot in this one, starting off by covering the opportunities the XFL creates for the NFL and we also talk NY Giants. We briefly talk on the Knicks, why they suck, and also the product of the NBA. And later we conclude by talking about the issues in baseball. The Astros are scumbags, the commissioner sucks, and the hometown Yanks are already dealing with major injuries... again.
The Knicks lose again. The positives of late are that Mitchell Robinson & Allonzo Trier are getting some burn. The negatives? Well... still a whole lot.
Is this real life?
Aaaaand it happened.
The Knicks are still going backwards with 25 games left. Life is not good in Manhattan.
The Yankees are starting to concern me. First Aaron Hicks. Then James Paxton. Now we're on the verge of receiving concerning news on both Aaron Judge & Luis Severino. And the news on Sevy seems to be the most worrisome of all.
The Knicks begin the second 'half' of their season in just a couple of days. The first half went bad. How will the second go? Will we see the kids more? One can only hope, but this is the Knicks after all.
The Yankees are already dealing with a couple injuries to begin spring training down in Florida. You hope the latest news on Aaron Judge is nothing more than what the Yankees say. There will also be some other key players to watch this preseason. Come check it out.
Today I caught the New York Guardians play some XFL football and lose dreadfully. I also tuned into the NBA All-Star festivities, including the cringe-worthy (but funny) roast afterwards. I talk about it all right here. Check it out.
The Knicks head into All-Star break 17-38 as a unit, losing two in a row. Tonight's latest loss to the lowly Wizards included the usual. Check it out.
After a nice win in Detroit where the Knicks took care of an Andre Drummond-less squad, they then lost their four-game winning streak on Sunday in Atlanta. Trae Young, man....
Lots has gone on in Manhattan of late. Steve Mills was fired, Leon Rose was hired, Marcus Morris was traded, nobody else was, all while the Knicks are on a three-game win streak.
The New York Yankees delivered some unfortunate news earlier tonight. It's not great but the Yankees can more than weather the storm for now. Check it out.
The Knicks completed their 50th & 51st games over the past few days, completing their pre-deadline part of the season. It should be an interesting next couple of days in Manhattan before the cutoff on Thursday.
The Knicks have had an egregious season. They continue to prioritize their veterans over their youth, all while losing at the same time. We check in with a three-month progress report.
Back with some Knicks talk, but the recent tragedy involving Kobe Bryant has taken over sports of late. R.I.P. Mamba.
The 2020 MLB season is creeping closer & closer, so I made some predictions and projected the statistics of each player on this New York Yankees team.
He's in! Derek Jeter has made it to the Hall!
On Saturday the Knicks hosted the 76ers and lost after a competitive fight. Tonight they picked up a win in Cleveland. One thing remains, though, which is the lack of playing time for the young foundation of the team. That needs to change.
Just an angry rant on these cheating pieces of filth..
After picking up a surprising victory against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks have gotten blown out in two games since.
