Episode description

In the process to become a mother... we all experience these emotions of fear and stress about birth, about the body changes and about the new chapter as a mother. In this episode, I share a chat with Stefanie about how Doulas are helping this beautiful transformation to be easy and natural.

"Stefanie Antunes is a certified birth and postpartum doula with DONA International. She is also a birth doula trainer for DONA. She is the founder of the Birth Doula Program at The Scarborough Hospital, former Director of Public Relations for DONA International, and the Treasurer for DoulaCare. She is passionate about advancing the doula profession both through her team and the doula community at large through her various volunteer roles. She has been working in the field as a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and doula for more than a decade and has supported hundreds of families to have a birth experience that is satisfying and empowering. She is committed to pursuing her goal of “Changing the world…one family at a time”.
