With eyes closed, something extraordinary can happen as our imagination is no longer restricted by the boundaries of perception held by our conscious mind a lot of the time.
With flexibility of perspective comes the realisation to focus on good things that we have in life right now, not the hurtful ones from the past or an imagined future, neither of which exist at the moment.
