The Hunt - Blog Reading

Hey peeps. This week we're talking about The Hunt. That's the 2020 film in which a group of liberals try to murder a gang of red-necks and not the 2012 film in which some kid accuses Mads Mikkelsen of being a nonce. Although the Mads Mikkelsen film is so much better to be fair. This is the closest I ever get to an actual film review and so naturally I spend most of the piece drawing parallels to the now dead columnist A.A. Gill. I talk about the various different messages of the movie whilst complaining that it's points were pretty basic and it was annoying to see them delivered in such a smug way. I'm aware of the irony of me complaining about that by the way. If you think my points are basic and I'm a bit too smug then just assume that I did it intentionally as a way of satirising the tone of the film.
