Marty Haynes is the host of i98fm’s breakfast radio show. Having spent nearly 20 years as Illawarra radios top dog, Marty is not only a skilled professional within his field but one of the most genuine and kind-hearted men I have had the pleasure of speaking too.

In this episode we talk about the $16,000,000 and more he has raised with his charity The Illawarra Convoy. An initiative inspired by a young man who later lost his battle with cancer, the foundation has gone on to help so many who are suffering from the terrible illness every year.

We cover Marty’s family, his work on the Illawarra’s favourite radio show and some of the lessons he has learned in this journey called life.
