Episode description

Dr Hannah Korrel is a neuropsychologist & the author of 'How To Break Up With Friends'.

Whilst a PHD in Neuroscience & years of experience as a practicing doctor will help you understand neuroscience, it doesn't deem you exempt from the same friendship/relationship challenges you & I face.

Have you ever found yourself giving so much of your time, love & attention to friends only to feel that same energy isn't reciprocated? Have you identified toxic traits in a friend & you aren't sure how to communicate that clearly with them? Or maybe you have identified personal insecurities & toxic traits that you wish to work on. We all have them, it is part of being human.

Those questions right there are the reason Dr Han wrote & published her book, 'How To Break Up With Friends'. In this episode we discussed all these questions & more. As Hannah shared her personal experiences to help us understand what is at the core of these problems we all face.  One of my favourite points from this conversation was surrounding the circle of thoughts, feelings & behaviours & how we can apply that in a practical manner. Stick around toward the end to catch that part of our conversation.
