Highlight: The Masculine & Feminine Exist In Collaboration Not Competition // VIDEO.
Episode description
This is a highlight moment from recent podcast episode '3 Mates Define Masculinity'.
In the name of vulnerability, Brad (The Captain) has come together with 2 of his best mates Tye (Phoony) & Joey The Zoolander) for a series of episodes to tackle some of life’s big questions, topics & the tough stuff that we so often choose to battle in solitude.
The aim is to inspire you to connect with your mates in vulnerability & hold space for each other on the foundation of unconditional love & support, whilst encouraging positive mental health.
The boys feel so blessed to have the incredible friendship they do & it’s no coincidence that our depth of conversation has created such strength in our bond.
This week they delve into the topic of masculine & feminine energy. Aiming to define what 'masculinity' means to them & discuss why the masculine & feminine conversation is too often rooted in competition instead of COLLABORATION.
Traditionally masculinity has been associated with men & femininity with women. As society evolves, we see the presence of both energies on a spectrum in which masculine & feminine energy exist in their natural polarity but are accessed & embodied at varying levels relevant to your own human experience.
The lads discuss their own personal experience with both masculine & feminine energy, they share their own definitions of masculinity alongside the definitions provided by key women in their lives & also their thoughts on the insecurity rooted in 'toxic or 'undeveloped' masculinity.
