Tye Grieve is the creator of Gooné.A brand & business built off the back of Australian culture, low budgets & good times.After 5 years at University & 3 years in a stable career, Tye left his job as a civil engineer to pursue an idea & hunch he couldn't ignore any longer. Any young Aussie knows that a goon bag is the go to drink to keep the spirits high & the wallet full, but the question always begs "why does it have to taste so bad"? Thats when the idea to create a pre mixed wine forced Tye to throw himself in the deep end. Learning the ins & outs of the alcohol business as each new hurdle presented itself, he is now 4 years on with a product on shelfs & a burning desire to see the idea he plotted on a napkin so long ago become a national success story.We sat to discuss the journey thus far & all of Tye's learnings along the way.
