We unpack how Hill started Carrier Lists, a database of carriers, and later met Craig Fuller at a conference. Fuller offered Hill a position as the Director of Research at FreightWaves. Down the road, Tim Dooner and Hill started Put That Coffee Down, a podcast dedicated to selling in the freight brokerage industry.

Neither Dooner nor Hill liked spending an extra hour with their sales manager, so they wanted to give actionable tips to become better at selling a commoditized market.
