Denver Airport Conspiracies

You'd think being $2 billion over budget would be the most controversial bullet point in the story of a travel hub and yet the Denver International Airport has been plagued by conspiracy theories since its conception. Stories of hidden messages from the illuminati, underground tunnels & doomsday bunkers beneath the sprawling structure, and even apocalyptic predictions have followed DEN for years. The giant blue demon horse out front doesn't exactly help. The fact that they heavily wink at these stories makes one wonder, was all this creepy stuff part of a marketing ploy or is a sinister force hiding in plane sight?
