Chapter 292: In Which Peacemaker Brings Us All The Joy
"Peacemaker", "Book of Boba Fett", other stuff. I dunno, I waited too long after recording to post this. I forgot what we talked about.

"Peacemaker", "Book of Boba Fett", other stuff. I dunno, I waited too long after recording to post this. I forgot what we talked about.
Book of Boba Fett, Eternals, Moon Knight, Peacemaker, toys. All these things we cover this episode.
Not a whole lot goes on this time of year, but Justin did read some comics. Matt finished "Schitt's Creek" and started a rewatch of "Daredevil". "The Book of Boba Fett" started and we talk about that, too.
Our holiday break is over and we're getting one more episode in under the wire for 2021. We talk about "South Park: Post COVID: Return of COVID", "The Matrix: Resurrections", "Spider-Man: No Way Home", toys, random shows and other stuff that pops into our heads.
We devote a big chunk of this episode to talking about South Park's first movie in their new deal with Paramount+. Then we talk a bit about how Justin watched "Hawkeye", Matt is watching a new HBO Max comedy called "The Sex Lives of College Girls", Justin watched the new Bruce Campbell movie "Black Friday" and more.
We are playing catch-up yet again as our colliding schedules keep making it hard to stay on a reliable schedule. This week we talk a whole lot of stuff: "Big Mouth", "What We Do In The Shadows", "Sex Education", "Animaniacs" the lack of any real new information from Disney+ Day, and more.
We have arrived back from our hiatus to talk about Doom Patrol, What We Do In The Shadows, Young Justice, Midnight Mass, What If?, and Halloween Kills.
With Justin out on a movie set and my week going poorly, I invited my buddy Anthony from Tis The Podcast back on the show, this time to talk about Mike Flanagan's incredible Netflix limited series "Midnight Mass".
In this episode that should have gone up days ago, we talk about...I can't even remember. Definitely Justin going away to work on a movie set. And "Doom Patrol". And "What We Do In The Shadows". Beyond that, I have no idea.
This season of "Rick and Morty" is done so that's pretty sad. But the last two episodes were good so we talk about those for a bit. "What We Do In The Shadows" was also good this week, no surprise there. Matt just wants a PS4 before the newly announced "Spider-Man 2", "Wolverine" and "Knights of the Old Republic" come out. Other topics include toys and haunts.
Live action Rick and Morty, "What We Do In The Shadows", a really depressing episode of "What If...?" and some other silly stuff are the subject this week. That's it. What do you want? Me to transcribe the whole episode? Go pound sand!
We almost didn't have an episode this week because we both really didn't do much and news is a bit slow, but then the long awaited, much anticipated trailer for "Spider-Man: No Way Home" burst onto the scene! Oh, and Justin got a PS5. And we did watch the second episode of "What If...?" so there was that.
Matt and Justin are bummed that there was no new "Rick and Morty" but they still can talk about Tim Drake being bisexual, the first episode of "What If...?", the pushing back of "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" (like anyone cares), and comics!
Obviously, as the title implies, the big thing this week is that we saw "The Suicide Squad", but before that we talk about South Park's new major deal, Justin saw "The Green Knight", Matt has been rewatching "What We Do In The Shadows" and more.
This episode was recorded so many days ago I can't really remember what we talked about but I am sure it was movies and shows and comics and toys.
Matt watched the wrong episode of Rick and Morty. We went to Fright Kingdom and got startled. "Loki" had its season finale and we talk about what the introduction of a certain character may mean for the future. Justin actually got to see "Pig". We both read some comics.
As the title implies, this week we talk about the newest episode of "Rick and Morty" right off the bat. Then we head into talking about some movies Justin watched, including "Black Widow". Then we discuss episode five of "Loki", the trailer for "What If...?", Funko Pops and a couple other goodies.
I was fortunate enough to get an advanced review copy of Jonathan Maberry's new novel "Relentless", the twelfth book in his Joe Ledger series. So, this episode is probably a bit niche for even our audience, but if you're in the know about Joe Ledger, this episode is for you!
Matt kicks off the show mad at Target exclusives. Justin missed out on a PS5...AGAIN. This week's "Rick and Morty" had one of the funniest bits ever even though it was hecking dark. "Loki" had its best episode yet. Both the geeks watched "Fear Street: 1994". We make plans to go to a haunt.
In this episode, we once again talk about "Loki" and how we feel about episode three. And, of course, we talk about toys, comics. Plus, Justin watched the new "Godzilla: Zero Point" anime series on Netflix and has lots of thoughts.
After a break because Matt went to Maine to visit his close, personal friend Stephen King (haha, no, he just took the Stephen King Tour) and then our schedules didn't sync up, ya boys are back! This episode we talk mostly about the first two episodes of "Loki" and the season premiere of "Rick and Morty". Also Justin bought some films, there's a new trailer for "The Suicide Squad" and DC says Batman can't muff dive.
Justin took his first trip back to a theater to see "A Quiet Place II" and rented "Spiral: From The Book of Saw" at home. Matt has worked his way through "Rick and Morty" yet again in preparation for the new season. Both the geeks watched and discuss "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It" which leads into their plan to just make of real world cursed and haunted objects.
Guys, this is Matt, and I'm gonna level with you: I have absolutely no good reason for this episode to be late. I just kinda kept forgetting to edit and upload it. In this one we talk about "Army of the Dead", the first teaser for "The Eternals", Danny DeVito, and so much more!
Not a super eventful week, but the first trailer for "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" debuted and you will probably have to pay us to actually watch the movie. Plus, "The Bad Batch" is making Justin as sick of child characters as Matt is. Matt does his terrible yet spot-on Captain Janeway impression after only seeing seven episodes of "Star Trek: Voyager". Justin brings up a cartoon that gave him nightmares as a kid, which leads to Matt finding out a show he barely remembers from childhood is on Di...
The show kicks off strong with Justin's complaints about other nerds he has had to deal with recently. Then we cover a whole bunch of stuff: Muppet Haunted Mansion, The Bad Batch, comics, toys, Matt rage-watching The Handmaid's Tale and more.
So, this episode is late because our schedules this week didn't ever match up. And did we fill that time we weren't podcasting with geeky stuff? No, actually. So, this episode is a little light on content, mainly focusing on "Mortal Kombat" and the last episode of "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier".
We have a few little bits of stuff to get through before we dive super deep into episode five of "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier". But it's after that that things get weird. Like...what the hell is an NFT? Is Batman the only comic hero who hasn't died? How do stocks work?
Justin watched "The New Mutants" and that sure was something. Matt badly explains a funny plot from "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine", the new version of The Scarecrow looks weird and we dive hip deep into the latest episode of "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier".
The big news this week is "Godzilla vs Kong" and "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier" and, sure, we talk about other stuff like comics and junk, but we know enough to the good stuff fast!
