Episode description

Once upon a time there was a peacock was showing off through the forest, thinking how beautiful his plumage was, stretching and contracting it with great pride. He was spinning and at the end he was spreading his magnificent plumage. He shifted from one place to another where he believed would be most impressive to any spectator, suddenly, he was so delighted with his own impersonation that he didn’t notice that there was a cliff and fell off from it. After recovering from the shock and shaking himself a bit. He realized that his plumage was intact and so was he, and felt happiness and relief, he had been very lucky, now he would just have to get out of there. But how? He asked to himself. It seemed that it would be difficult, besides, if he was not careful enough, he could damage his beautiful plumage of which he was so proud. So he decided to swallow his pride a bit and ask for help, someone would surely come by and listen to him. And so it was, a fox passed by who heard him and yelled at him, "peacock, are you okay?" The peacock responded immediately, "yes, I feel fine, but ... I can't get out, I wish someone would be so kind to come and help me out. You are very strong, please help me". "I understand," said the fox and continued, "from what I see, there are many rocks and if you do it carefully you will be able to climb out without problems, have you already tried it?" The peacock replied, “Yes I have, but I'm so afraid of spoiling my beautiful plumage, you know! I am very proud of it, I have cared for it for so many years that the least I want is to cause it any damage. Oh I get it! Said the fox and continued, "I can't go down there but I will do something for you, I just tied this rope to a tree, it is very firm, hold on to it, climb up and get out of there, it will be easier for you to climb. Please don't abandon me, I need you, help me! The peacock begged her in a plaintive voice. And the fox replied, "I'm doing it, that's why I threw the rope to you." But the peacock insisted impatiently, "you do not understand, I do not want a rope, I want you to come here for me, you are strong enough and you can get me out of here if you carry me, but you will have to do it very carefully so you don’t spoil my plumage". "Mmmm, I understand," said the fox and added, "Look, I wrote you some instructions on this paper so you can climb out of there. Now everything depends on you, I know you can and you will. See you later" and she left. Drops of awareness If a person has a problem and you can help him, do so, but according to your capabilities. If the person imposes conditions on you to help him, then, he does not want you to help him, most likely he has other ulterior motives. Please avoid judging this person who only seeks to achieve something important for her in her life, and if you can help her, do so. If knowing and understanding the above does not cause you some inconvenience, then help her, there is probably something good in that situation for you and that person. If you think that this damages your self-esteem or is inconvenient for you, then, assertively indicate that you cannot help, a straight "no" can be very helpful for you and for the other person. If you want to help but you still notice something weird, you can indicate how much you can or want to be of help, it will be something positive for both people. Or, if after analyzing the situation you decide that you will not help, politely say "thank you, I can’t help at the moment." You will have expressed what you feel and it’s positive for both parties. Every interaction with someone carries with it secrets and wonderful memories of life for you. Each person is valuable, treat each one with love and you will see how life returns each loving action in multiple ways.
