1H1D #112: Lapin

Apparently, it’s the French word for rabbit.

The tried-and-true Xbox Game Pass “Surprise Me” button is in control and has selected the so-fresh-it’s-not-technically-done indie platformer created by Studio Doodal for this episode. Information on this indie developer is particularly sparce but it appears they plan to specialize in creating story-driven games with compelling background lore. Will this narrative focus complement the precision platforming, or will it prove distracting? Is it even fair to judge a game while it is still in the early access phase? The “Surprise Me” button certainly thinks it is… so Tom and Chris must play for an hour and make a decision. Does this story have a hoppy ending? Lettuce pray it does.
