WHARTON, NJ - Two lanes opened on I-80 East, 5/21 with hopes to open Westbound lanes before school lets out for summer according to reports. Sinkhole repairs and traffic have inconvenienced thousands of Northwest New Jersey residents and commuters since December of 2024. Locals and travelers are relieved that repairs are coming to an end.
