Derek Shulman was the singer/writer/instrumentalist/leader of 70s prog legends Gentle Giant. Their classic 1977 double-live album, Playing The Fool has just been rereleased in sparkling new extended digital knobs=on edition and it's great! After GG, Derek went on to become a top A&R man in New York where, amongst other huge acts, he signed Kingdom Come.
