Episode description
Evelyn's family sought refuge in Canada and the United States after the Vietnam War. The war caused her family to be ripped away from each other, fighting to survive. Her family was in survival mode. Affection, love, and connection took a back seat, causing inner child wounds. She went through a difficult period of life that included anxiety and suicidal thoughts. She found new insights and power by getting involved in fitness, and ultimately healing her inner child and generational trauma, which has changed her life. Today, she helps the people she works with to do the same.
