"You learn courage by couraging." Mary Daly. I started swim lessons this week at the ripe old age of 37. After I explain how I impulsively got myself into this mess, I want to show how we can role model bravery for our kids, and how this situation parallels the new and scary things we ask of our kids quite often. How can we overcome what's holding us back? Especially fear! What if I look stupid? What if I am terrible? Let's let go of our perfectionism, step out of our comfort zones, embrace bravery, and figure it out together. It's never too late to try something new!
