Today, our host, Samantha Michaele, is speaking with Allison Zippay, professor at Rutgers School of Social Work and Director of the Center for Leadership Management. Dr. Zippay’s research areas encompass community planning and community practice, and the ways in which place and social connections affect life prospects, including economic opportunity and social service utilization, for various subgroups of the poor. With Dr. Zippay leading the work as Director, The Center for Leadership and Management seeks to bridge the discipline of social work with the fields of leadership and management from both academic and practice perspectives.
