Tonight, on The Sound we have a special holiday treat for you. No, it’s not sugar cookies, it doesn’t really have a bow or pretty wrapping on it and it didn’t come from a jolly bearded fella… or did it? At any rate, like I said, this is our special holiday episode of The Sound. This  will be the very first holiday episode that we’ve done here at The Sound. Who knows, maybe it’ll go well, hell, maybe you’ll even like it. Maybe we can do it again next year. Well  enough dreamin of future sugar plums and such. Tonight we feature regional group that calls themselves Bowling Leage, consisting of Esther Gvora, David Nash, and Nicky Nieling. These three Midwesterners have created an album that they call Humbug, and it’s a collection of what you might call holiday tunes, or not, depending on your particular disposition I s’pose. Ya see, these aren’t your typical holiday classics, I guess they’re not really classics at all, but who knows, they could be someday. And if they do become classics, you can say that ya heard ‘em here first. Ufda, I’m getting a little long winded here so let’s get to it, I’m Bill Stoneberg, get yerself a nice hot cocoa or cider, kick back in yer stockings and nightcap, or just have a nightcap and sit back and enjoy this holiday album by Bowling League called Humbug, tonight on The Sound.
