Speaker 1

I'm Cheryl McCollum, host of the brand new cold case podcast Zone seven. Now, this ain't just any old podcast, Honey. As a crime scene investigator with over forty years experience in the criminal justice system, I started my career and the trenches, and Honey, I've stayed there. So I've worked every facet of the criminal justice system, police chords and corrections. I've worked with law enforcement and victims of crime and

criminals to solve cold cases. And I have genuinely befriended them all, well not all of them, but most double. As a working c S I I'm not a first responder, I'm a last responder. I'm gonna be bringing you into the depths of these cases with me. We're gonna talk to family members. Timmy was the girliest of the three of us. Timmy was the dancer. She was, you know, tiny and fatigue mm hm, just cute and she had great tone and she just excelled everything she did and

and dance that was her thing. She loved it and she had a ton of friends she did. The thing about me and Tammy that was very different is I was always very I had a lot of common sense. I had a love a street smart. Tammy wasn't. Tammy was very spontaneous. Tammy was very in the moment, and it's like, this is great, this feels good. Let's just do this. I'm not going to think about what happens next.

Detectives and prosecutors on these cases. She was stabbed at least thirty times, and at some point in time, we know that there was probably other things that placed. As far as her injuries are concerned, it would have had to have been there before I had knowledge of it. Sensiveness, um, just brutality of of what happened to her is more than just a dumped body that we sometimes see. Last place she's known as she's walking down the root in Savantage.

Her body is discovered the next morning. I will get you. Science will get you. My bread and butter is interviews and interrogation, and all I need is just a little bit the suspect it's gonna be done. I mean, there's no way unless they're dead. I'm coming for you, and I'm going to be bringing in some special guests from my own Zonne seven, a group of professionals that I have called on for years to help me work hundreds

of cases you've heard of, and thousands you haven't. I'm talking about these people because we started a podcast to help find perpetrators, not just tell stories, that's right. I want you to help me actually solve these cases, many of which have been cold for decades.
